Abstract

The management of educational facilities plays a crucial role in supporting effective teaching and learning processes in schools. It is essential for optimizing available resources to ensure that these facilities are fully utilized, even with existing limitations. This study aims to investigate the optimization of educational facility management at SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar, with a focus on the library, the computer lab for the MPLB program, and classroom XII MPLB 1, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of these educational facilities. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the optimization of facility management at SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar has been effectively implemented, as it is carried out systematically with clear optimization efforts. Planning is conducted annually in a participatory manner by various school stakeholders and is based on needs and priority scales. Procurement is carried out according to plan and in stages based on urgent needs. Organization is managed through inventory, storage, and maintenance with active involvement from all parties. The use of facilities is effective and in accordance with their functions, with a scheduled and orderly system, while disposal is carried out functionally by removing damaged items from the inventory list, although it lacks oficial administrative documentation. Key supporting factors include cooperation among stakeholders, student participation, and budget support. Challenges include space limitations and security issues. Therefore, the optimization of facility management is not solely determined by the availability of resources but also by the school’s ability to maximize the utilization, organization, and maintenance of these resources despite limitations.

Abstract

This study addresses the critical challenge of maintaining Workplace Resilience among Indonesian employees facing unprecedented market volatility and technological disruption, an issue underscored by global reports (WEF, 2024). Although existing theory supports Dynamic Capabilities at the organizational level (Teece, 2018) and Psychological Capital (Luthans, 2020) at the individual level, a significant gap remains in providing practical coping strategies relevant to Indonesia’s specific local work dynamics. The research adopted a qualitative-exploratory approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with 18 High Performers (HiPo) in the Indonesian MNC and startup sectors, with the aim of formulating and validating an evidence-based conceptual model: "The Office Survival Pack." Thematic analysis revealed that this Survival Pack consists of three integrated dimensions: Cognitive Resilience (characterized by the 'Controllable Focus' strategy), Emotional-Behavioral Resilience (driven by 'Micro De-escalation Strategies' for real-time stress management), and Relational Resilience (involving informal 'Professional Mentoring Hubs'). The findings demonstrate that these strategies were developed by individuals to fill the void left by generic organizational support, thus the structured Survival Pack model provides realistic strategic guidance for employees to move from merely surviving to excelling amidst workplace uncertainty.

Abstract

The Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) is an indicator used to measure environmental development in Indonesia. Nationally, IKLH showed an increasing trend from 2019 to 2023. However, Indonesia's Environmental Performance Index (EPI) in 2024 was only 33.6, ranking 163rd out of 180 countries, reflecting poor environmental quality by global standards. This study analyzes the factors affecting IKLH using panel data regression from 2019 to 2023. The variables include population density, GRDP per capita, energy consumption, and the percentage of the poor population. The results indicate that population density, GRDP per capita, and energy consumption have a significant negative effect on IKLH, while the percentage of the poor has a positive but insignificant effect. These findings highlight that economic and demographic pressures are key contributors to declining environmental quality. Hence, sustainable control of economic activities and population growth, along with integrated environmental policy reforms, is essential.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the success rate of artificial insemination in cattle in Pagentan District, Banjarnegara Regency, and the success rate of farmers who performed artificial insemination. Because this area is one of the centers of beef cattle production in Banjarnegara Regency, it was deliberately chosen as the research location. The data collection technique used in this study was direct observation and interviews with farmers. The data obtained were calculated using the perception rate and service per perception formulas. According to the results of the study obtained in Pagentan District, most farmers were under 40 years old. While the level of education of the farmers was the highest, namely elementary school, with the main job mostly being being a farmer, The perception rate value obtained was 77.14% and was included in the high category because it exceeded the predetermined standard limit. While the service per conception value obtained was 1.29%, both of which indicate that the condition of livestock in Pagentan District is very good and has a high fertility rate, the birth interval value is not so long, which can affect the success rate of artificial insemination

Abstract

Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending can expand working-capital access for micro-entrepreneurs, yet borrowing via digital platforms heightens perceived vulnerability due to sensitive data disclosure and binding repayment obligations. This study examines how perceived security and trust shape adoption intention in a high-stakes fintech context by extending the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and testing whether security and trust transmit the effect of perceived usefulness to intention. Using an explanatory cross-sectional design, we collected offline-administered survey data from 204 Indonesian micro-entrepreneurs who had not previously adopted P2P lending to capture pre-adopter perceptions better and reduce digital-selection bias. The model was estimated using PLS-SEM 3. The results indicate that all hypothesized relationships are positive and statistically significant. Perceived usefulness significantly enhances perceived security (β = 0.562) and trust (β = 0.259), while perceived security exerts a strong positive effect on trust (β = 0.517). Intention to use P2P lending is directly influenced by perceived security (β = 0.337), trust (β = 0.213), and perceived usefulness (β = 0.208). Mediation analysis confirms that perceived security (β = 0.189) and trust (β = 0.055) partially mediate the effect of perceived usefulness on intention to use. The model explains 42.4% of the variance in intention to use (R-squared = 0.424) and demonstrates adequate predictive relevance (Q-squared = 0.263). Overall, perceived security emerges as the most influential determinant of adoption intention, underscoring the importance of security-by-design features, transparent governance, and robust consumer-protection frameworks in fostering trust and accelerating P2P lending adoption among micro-entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires public sector organizations to transform their services to become more efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented. This study aims to analyze the role of digital leadership in driving service transformation within public sector organizations in Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving selected informants using purposive sampling. The findings reveal that digital leadership significantly influences service transformation through the development of a clear digital vision, the strengthening of organizational culture and human resource capabilities, and the promotion of innovation in service delivery, leading to improved efficiency, accessibility, and transparency of public services. However, this study is limited by its qualitative design with a relatively small number of informants, its focus on leadership perspectives, and the lack of in-depth analysis of regional disparities in infrastructure. Future research is recommended to use quantitative or mixed methods, incorporate citizen perspectives, and explore the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in enhancing digital leadership and public service innovation.

Abstract

The development of teaching competence among Office Administration students is essential because prospective educators must be able to transform theoretical knowledge into effective, confident, and reflective teaching practice. This study aims to analyze peer teaching as a practice-based learning strategy for developing teaching competence among Office Administration students. The study was conducted in the Office Administration Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia, using a descriptive quantitative research design. The participants consisted of 11 undergraduate students who were involved in peer teaching activities as part of the learning process. Data were collected through structured performance assessment based on several components, including participation, teaching device preparation, first teaching performance, second teaching performance, and final mastery. The findings show that peer teaching provides a meaningful learning experience that enables students to strengthen their participation, prepare teaching devices, practice instructional delivery, communicate learning materials, and build confidence in teaching situations. The overall mastery score indicates that students’ teaching competence was generally in the good to excellent category. The highest achievement was found in the participation and teaching device aspects, while the first teaching performance aspect showed the lowest score, indicating the need for more intensive guidance in confidence, classroom opening skills, communication clarity, classroom management, and nervousness control. These findings suggest that peer teaching is not merely an assessment activity but also a reflective learning process that supports students’ pedagogical readiness through direct practice, feedback, observation, and improvement. This study contributes to teacher education literature by emphasizing the relevance of peer teaching in developing teaching competence within Office Administration education.
