Abstract

This research aims to determine and test the influence of sales growth, executive character and capital intensity on tax avoidance in companies in the Consumer Non-Cyclicals Food & Beverage Subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The population is 84 companies. The sample determination method used purposive sampling, obtained 20 companies with a research period of 5 years so that the total research sample was 100. Data processing used the Eviews 12 Statistical Program by collecting related data then analyzing descriptive statistics, estimating regression models, suitability tests model, classical assumption test, coefficient of determination (R2), panel data regression analysis, F statistical test and t statistical test, t statistical test results. The results of the F statistical test, sales growth, executive character, and capital intensity simultaneously influence tax avoidance. sales growth variables partially have no effect on tax avoidance, but executive character and capital intensity partially have an effect against tax avoidance.

Abstract

Kematian ibu dan kematian bayi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan dihadapi hampir di seluruh negara di dunia. Tinggi atau rendahnya Angka Kematian Ibu dan Angka Kematian Bayi adalah tolak ukur keberhasilan intervensi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah setempat terkait bidang kesehatan. Selain itu fokus AKI dan AKB ini juga dituangkan dalam tujuan Sustainable Development Goal’s atau SDG’s. Maka dari itu peneliti ingin mengeksplorasi tentang faktor penyebab kejadian kematian ibu dan kematian bayi serta bagaimana strategi penanganan yang dilakukan di beberapa negara berkembang untuk menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi ini. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu systematic review dengan menggunakan 11 artikel yang pemilihannya bersumber dari database PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar dan Science Direct. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kematian ibu dan bayi yaitu usia ibu saat melahirkan, berat badan bayi lahir, pengetahuan ibu tentang bahaya kehamilan, paritas, serta tersedia atau tidak akses layanan kesehatan. Selain itu beberapa program yang dapat menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi di negara berkembang antara lain berfokus pada penanganan risiko kesehatan di kalangan perempuan hamil dan keluarga berencana, memperkuat infrastruktur tambahan, program pendidikan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, meningkatkan akses dan penggunaan layanan kesehatan ibu dan anak dengan memberikan subsidi kepada ibu hamil untuk menerima perawatan antenatal, persalinan, dan perawatan pasca persalinan secara gratis, penyediaan peralatan dan persediaan yang diperlukan, serta pelatihan bagi penyedia layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out human resource management strategies to reduce the transfer of employee duties. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, descriptive research does not provide treatment, manipulation or alteration to the variables studied, but describes a condition as it is. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. As a result of the previous discussions, the author concludes that effective HR management strategies to suppress the transfer of employee duties are a key factor in the success of the organization. By implementing the right strategies in human resource management, organizations can reap significant benefits, from increased productivity to better employee retention. It is important for organizations to continue to improve strategies in effective human resource management to reduce the transfer of employee duties in accordance with the development of the times and employee needs.

Abstract

The early marriage controversy is a significant issue that affects people's views regarding marriage within the framework of Islamic religious doctrine and customs in Indonesia. This article examines how Islamic law adapts in response to socio-cultural changes, especially in regions with Muslim minority populations, which have mixed interpretations of the age of marriage. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through news and literature relevant to the keyword "Early marriage controversy in Indonesia." The analysis was carried out inductively to identify the forms, factors, and impacts of early marriage controversies on the lives of young couples, both from the perspective of health, quality of life, and religious and cultural norms. The results of the study show that this controversy reflects the challenges of integrating Islamic religious doctrine with local customary values, creating both positive and negative consequences for couples who marry young. In the context of Muslim minorities, this article recommends a flexible and responsive approach to Islamic law to socio-cultural dynamics, in order to achieve a balance between religious norms and the social needs of diverse communities.

Abstract

The type of research used is quantitative research. This research was conducted at MTsS Nurul Ihsan school. With a total student population of 66 people, with a total sample of 16 people using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a total of 15 questions. The research results showed that there were 3 people in the category of low interest in reading, 10 people in the category of moderate reading interest and 3 people in the category of high reading interest. In the low category, the average value is 40 with a percentage of 18.75%; in the medium category the average value is 47.6 with a percentage of 62.5%; and in the high category, the average value is 53.3 with a percentage of 18.75%. So the study results show that the average value of students' reading interest on the influence of gadgets is in the medium category, with an average total score of 47.6.

Abstract

This article explores the diversity of ethnicities and religions in the Engganese society, which has become color in their life dynamics—local wisdom based on customary rules succeeded in uniting differences into peace. Ethnic and religious differences, which have been considered dividing the nation, did not occur in the Enggano community. This study uses a qualitative method by interviewing several vital informants who are religious or traditional leaders. The purpose of this study is to show that ethnic and religious differences can create harmony and peace in society. The results of this study are that the Enggano community is an open society that easily accepts the presence of newcomers; then that migrants get the same rights and obligations as indigenous people; also that migrants are required to give up their cultural identity when entering Enggano; that religion is a new value in the Enggano community which is not regulated by custom; and that adat has an important role in shaping the behavior of the Engganese people. These factors are the keys to peace in a multi-ethnic and multi-religious society.

Abstract

The regional original income sustainability is very important for the interests of citizens and the government. This research analyzes the role of potential economic sectors that influence Mojokerto Regency's Original Regional Income (PAD). The data used is secondary data from the Regional Development Planning Agency and the Central Bureau of Statistics of Mojokerto Regency. The data analysis method used is a descriptive qualitative analysis using income ratios. In contrast, descriptive quantitative analysis uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method and multiple linear regression using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) tool to show the influence between the independent variables and dependent variables. The results of this research showed that six basic sectors are developing in Mojokerto Regency, including the transportation and communications sector; electricity, gas, and clean water sectors; building or construction sector; financial, rental, and corporate services sectors; trade, hotel, and restaurant sectors; and the services sector. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the electricity, gas, and clean water sectors; the trade, hotel, and restaurant sectors; and the transportation and communications sector did not affect PAD, while the construction/building sector; financial, rental, and corporate services sectors; and the services sector influences PAD of Mojokerto Regency. These results indicate that several sectors have important developments for the sustainability of Mojokerto's PAD. Therefore, it is recommended that the Mojokerto Regency government continue to develop these sectors, especially the construction sector; financial, rental, and corporate services sectors; and the services sector. ABSTRAK: Kelangsungan Pendapatan Asli Daerah sangat penting untuk kepentingan warga dan pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sektor-sektor ekonomi potensial yang berpengaruh terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Mojokerto. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah dan Badan Pusat Statistik dan Kabupaten Mojokerto. Metode analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengambil rasio-rasio pendapatan, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan metode Location Quotient (LQ) dan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan alat bantu Statistic Program for Social Science (SPSS) untuk menunjukkan pengaruh antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan enam sektor basis yang berkembang di Kabupaten Mojokerto antara lain sektor pengangkutan dan komunikasi; sektor listrik, gas dan air bersih; sektor bangunan atau konstruksi; sektor keuangan, persewaan dan jasa perusahaan; sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran; dan sektor jasa-jasa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier berganda dengan didapatkan sektor listrik, gas dan air bersih, sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, sektor pengangkutan dan komunikasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap PAD, sedangkan sektor kontruksi/bangunan; sektor keuangan, persewaan dan jasa Perusahaan; dan sektor jasa-jasa berpengaruh terhadap PAD Kabupaten Mojokerto. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa beberapa sektor memiliki perkembangan yang penting untuk kelangsungan PAD Mojokerto. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pemerintah Kabupaten Mojokerto untuk terus mengembangkan sektor-sektor tersebut, khususnya sektor kontruksi/bangunan; sektor keuangan, persewaan dan jasa Perusahaan; dan sektor jasa-jasa.

Abstract

Animation is an effective narrative medium that captures theaudience's attention through a combination of technology, visual aesthetics, and storytelling. The evolution from traditional animation to computer generated imagery has opened up opportunities for visual innovation. The animated series The Amazing World of Gumball stands out for its use of various animation techniques, including traditional 2D animation, CGI, stop-motion, and live-action. This study aims to analyze the visual diversity in the series and the importance of varied art styles in shaping visual narratives. The diverse animation techniques strengthen the visual identity and narrative, making the series more engaging and recognizable. The use of bright colors and different techniques helps create dynamic moods and emotions, appealing to audiences of all ages. This study emphasizes that visual diversity not only enriches aesthetics but also deepens the narrative, inviting viewers to engage more deeply and understand the conveyed messages. For future research, it is recommended to explore the specific impact of each animation technique on audience engagement in other animated series.

Abstract

This research project analyses the creation of an E-LKPD utilising the LOK-R model, based on the principles of scientific literacy, specifically tailored for physics education. This research is intended to: (1) Get to know the development process, (2) Analyze the feasibility, and (3) Determine whether this physics learning material using LOK-R based on science literacy about Electromagnetic Waves is interesting and attractive, and has been integrated with the independent curriculum. The method used is a 4D development method (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination) created by Thiagarajan, this research methodology. The limitation of this research is only in the development stage. For media experts and material experts, ways to get feasibility test devices and to measure interest from teachers and twelfth-grade students at 3 schools in total. This research was carried out at State High School 01 Bandar Lampung, Private High School Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung, and State High School 10 Bandar Lampung, and here are the research results: E-LKPD Physics Material Using the LOK-R Model Based on Science Literacy on Electromagnetic Waves integrated with the independent curriculum is very suitable and interesting as well as ready to be material for distance learning and can train students to learn independently.

Abstract

The rate of underage marriage in Gorontalo is very high, even though religion, customs and state laws prohibit it. The results of the direct interviews conducted and the observations made indicate that poverty, low levels of education and matchmaking myths may have caused this increase. Furthermore, the increasingly high level of promiscuity and weakened socio-cultural ties have led to an increase in the number of extramarital pregnancies, and forced marriage is unavoidable to maintain the dignity of the community. It was discovered that most married couples do not wed legally until they have problems in their marriage and seek a divorce. Moreover, women must also be responsible for their life choices because this paper shows that poor service practices have caused underage women to be objectified by physical, social and symbolic violence. The unavailability of a support system from the government and society makes a partner rely on the kindness of his or her parents. Therefore, it was suggested that government intervention, in the form of prevention and support systems for underage married women, must be integrated with the role of the community and religious leaders.
