Abstract

This study aims to explore the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs at Sekolah Dasar Alam Karawang, to analyze the factors influencing social interactions in inclusive classrooms, and to describe the strategies used by teachers to facilitate positive social interactions between both groups. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs in inclusive classrooms are varied. Regular students generally show curiosity and a willingness to help, while students with special needs—such as those with ADHD, autism, and cerebral palsy—face challenges in communication, emotional regulation, and social behavior. Interaction barriers are also influenced by the lack of understanding among regular students about the concept of inclusion, which often leads to negative attitudes. However, with proper guidance and sustained interaction, empathy and acceptance can be developed. Teachers play a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment through collaborative learning strategies, heterogeneous grouping, and providing education on diversity to all students.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia dianggap sebagai aset terpenting bagi pertumbuhan dan pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Salah satu tahapan terpenting dalam manajemen SDM adalah proses rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan, yang berperan penting dalam menentukan kualitas SDM di suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menerapkan sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan pada PT. SYR Trio Jaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil implementasi sistem ini mencakup perancangan flowchart untuk memberikan proses rekrutmen, serta pengembangan sistem penilaian wawancara yang bertujuan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi rekrutmen. Sistem ini juga dirancang untuk memberikan penilaian wawancara yang lebih obyektif, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas tim kerja di perusahaan. Selain itu, implementasi ini diharapkan dapat memperbaiki pengelolaan data karyawan, menjadikannya lebih efisien dan terstruktur. Kesimpulannya, sistem yang diterapkan telah berhasil menjadi alat efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas tim kerja serta proses manajemen SDM di PT. SYR Trio Jaya.

Abstract

In this era, technological advances benefit many aspects of work, including Human Resources Management (HRM). Implementing E-HRM helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce paper waste, and support sustainability principles. The study aims to examine the impact of E-HRM on Sustainability Performance, mediated by Labour Productivity and moderated by Organizational Agility. The research was conducted on MSMEs in Batam City, using a purposive sampling technique to obtain primary data from 200 respondents by distributing G-From questionnaires. The quantitative analysis method used is SmartPLS software. The research results of the hypothesis that shows a direct and significant positive effect on Sustainability Performance is Labor Productivity. Meanwhile, E-HRM implementation has a positive, not significant, effect on Sustainability Performance but has a positive, significant impact on Labour Productivity. The proven indirect research hypothesis is the relationship between E-HRM implementation and Sustainability Performance mediated by Labor Productivity. The theory that E-HRM implementation significantly positively affects Labour Productivity through moderation of organizational agility has yet to be proven. This research is expected to cover a broader range of research and can be used as a reference for other studies.

Abstract

Abstract: The biggest challenge for SMEs in the market of emerging countries is related to their survival ability. To enable survival, businesses are required to implement digital business transformation as an adaptive step to respond to changes in culture, trends, and markets in the industry. This is accompanied by top management support to foster technological competencies, in proceeding with an increase of organizational resilience. This research aims to analyze the top management support role as well as the technological competence in linking the influence of digital business transformation with organizational resilience. The approach used is a quantitative one, through a collection of questionnaires to 200 respondents who are owners/managers of SME businesses in Batam City. Data analysis through SEM-PLS technique via SmartPLS software. The test results indicate digital business transformation’s effect is significant on top management support and technological competencies, technological competencies have a significant effect on the resilience of the organization. Additionally, digital business transformation also plays a significant direct influence on the resilience of organizations.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian adalah untuk memahami dampak keberagaman dalam sumber daya manusia serta mengetahui perannya dalam efektivitas organisasi dan mendorong kinerja karyawan dalam lingkungan kerja, khususnya dalam industri perhotelan. Keberagaman pelanggan dan interaksi antarbudaya yang intensif, mulai menyadari pentingnya keanekaragaman, kesetaraan, dan inklusi dalam tenaga kerjanya untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan kepuasan pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di industri perhotelan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan mengumpulkan data menggunakan data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian adalah dampak keberagaman dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih komprehensif terhadap pelanggan dan menumbuhkan kreativitas dan inovasi, untuk menciptakan penawaran baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan transformasional, manajemen bakat, dan ketahanan organisasi sebagai faktor peningkatan kinerja organisasi pada industri manufaktur. Industri manufaktur dalam setiap aktivitas pekerjaan dan proses produksi pasti mempunyai resiko yang bahaya. Dalam hal ini, banyak industri manufaktur yang kekurangan tenaga kerja sehingga kesulitan mempertahankan dan mencari tenaga kerja yang terampil. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pekerja di industri manufaktur di Kota Batam. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dari responden melalui kuesioner. Sebanyak 198 responden terkumpul. Penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling dalam pemilihan sampel. Program PLS-SEM digunakan untuk menguji penelitian penulis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara Organizational Climate and Culture, Innovative Organization, dan Attitudes Towards e-HRM. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai perusahaan untuk menguji sejauh mana budaya dan iklim organisasi memengaruhi tingkat inovasi di perusahaan melalui sikap karyawan terhadap teknologi HR elektronik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Organizational Climate and Culture memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Innovative Organization, dengan dimediasi oleh Attitudes Towards e-HRM. Ini menandakan bahwa budaya dan iklim organisasi yang mendukung inovasi dapat mendorong perusahaan untuk mencapai tingkat inovasi yang lebih tinggi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan budaya dan iklim organisasi yang positif untuk meningkatkan inovasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between leadership effectiveness and motivation and communication, and its influence on organizational change. Quantitative approach with PLS-SEM and questionnaires on 200 Batam manufacturing employees. The results showed that leadership effectiveness has a positive and significant effect on communication and motivation but not significant with organizational change. This study also proves that motivation and communication are able to mediate the influence between leadership effectiveness and organizational change.

Abstract

Employee performance is an essential aspect in determining the success of a company. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the factors influencing employee performance in the retail industry. This study aims to analyze the effect of talent management, knowledge management, and job satisfaction on employee performance, which is mediated by employee engagement. This research targets the population of employees working in the Kota Batam retail industry, which involves 270 respondents. Data for this study were collected using distributing questionnaires and processed using Partial Least Squares. This study found that employee engagement positively affects talent management, knowledge management, and job satisfaction. The other direct effect is that talent management and job satisfaction positively affect employee performance, but knowledge management has no effect. Talent management and job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement positively affect employee performance.

Abstract

The hotel sector has started to recover after the post pandemic. The sudden change has forced hotel management to respond quickly to market changes. Since the hotel sector interacts directly with consumers, it needs to be extremely flexible in order to enhance product management and improve productivity. Organizational agility enables it to respond to the constantly shifting integrated environment and adapt to new knowledge. The research aims the study of motivation, entrepreneurial orientation, and leadership as factors to increase organizational agility are significant in the hotel industry. The population in this study was hotel employees in Batam, Indonesia. The data collection method used in the research was to create a questionnaire as a medium for collecting data obtained from respondents. In total, 268 responses were collected. The sample selection method used in this research was purposive sampling. This research was tested using the partial least squares with structural equation model. Result of the research shows that both entrepreneurial orientation and leadership has positive effect on motivation and organizational agility. However, motivation has no significant effect on organizational agility. The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and leadership which motivation as the mediator, doesn’t has a significant effect on organizational agility.
