Abstract

This study seeks to determine the impact of talent management, work-life balance, and organizational commitment on employee performance, with satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. In Batam City, the distribution sector experiences fierce rivalry, necessitating enterprises to secure high-performing staff. This study employs a quantitative descriptive methodology utilizing sampling procedures via questionnaires. The analysis method used was SEM-PLS, with 250 respondents from the distribution sector in Batam City. This research tested five variables with 19 questions which were measured using outer loading, reliability and validity. This research indicates that Talent Management (X1), Work-Life Balance (X2), and Organizational Commitment (X3) significantly influence Employee Performance (Y2) via Job Satisfaction (Y1).

Abstract

Organisasi  saat ini banyak yang kesulitan untuk menghindari turnover. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas bagaimana psychological Impact mempengaruhi turnover intention melalui perceived organizational support  sebagai mediasi dan peran moderasi work engagement. Penelitian menggunakan  metode kuantitatif dan pengolahan data dilakukan   SmartPLS terhadap responden. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa psychological impact secara tidak signifikan mempengaruhi turnover intentions dan perceived organizational support secara signifikan mempengaruhi turnover intentions. Pengaruh mediasi perceived organizational support terhadap turnover intentions terbukti signifikan, sedangkan peran moderasi work engagement terhadap psychological impact kepada turnover intentions terbukti tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial orientation and competitive intelligence play an important role in influencing the strategic flexibility and organizational agility. Therefore, we need to know what kind of orientation and competitive intelligence that suit the most for the organization. This research aims to analyze the role of entrepreneurial orientation and competitive intelligence in the influence of strategic flexibility on organizational agility. The research method used is a quantitative method, with data collection through distributing questionnaires to respondents who are working in the hotel industry. From the research result all the hypotheses all are accepted and effect significantly positive between each variable. This research highlights the importance of entrepreneurial orientation and competitive intelligence in increasing the strategic flexibility and organizational agility of an organization so that the organization has an innovative and unique strategy from other organizations. The implications of this research suggest that organizations should prioritize these factors to stay competitive in an increasingly dynamic market. Future research should explore additional samples and variables and investigate these relationships in different industries to deepen the understanding of the factors influencing strategic flexibility and organizational agility

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the preparation of Succession Planning and Career Planning at the Construction Company PT. Angkasa Engineers Indonesia is looking for a new Purchasing Manager position. Succession planning is creating a new paradigm for information, fostering loyalty among employees, and increasing employee morale as part of an employee engagement strategy. The existence of succession planning and career planning for construction companies is very important, namely to prepare new talent, and can help an individual to find out strengths, weaknesses, skills and abilities. The results showed that the succession planning at PT. Angkasa Engineers Indonesia to occupy the position of Purchasing Manager must have criteria and conditions such as: Minimum education S1 Accounting / Economics, has worked in the company for more than 5 years, experienced in the field, in accordance with the terms and conditions that apply.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry is an industry that utilizes human resources on a large scale, so an HR system is needed that can properly manage its human resources. HR systems in manufacturing are usually used to manage shifts, overtime data, management of attendance. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing HR analytic implementation system in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The research method used is to use qualitative research which will provide output in the form of data that describes Tools for HR analytics as a topic or issue to be discussed. The source of data collection used is in the form of secondary data where this data is obtained through data that has been analyzed by previous studies with the intention of collecting various processed data. The results of this study indicate that large companies in Indonesia engaged in the manufacturing sector have implemented software from HR analytics that can be used by the HR division to facilitate the entire system related to HR in each company. It can be said that the HR analytics system is very useful and useful for companies in carrying out overall management related to human resources.

Abstract

Industri pariwisata menjadi salah satu industri yang kompetitif dalam menggerakkan posisi strategis dan pembangunan ekonomi dalam meningkatkan devisa di berbagai negara, salah satunya di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi talent acquisiton dan talent onboarding dalam melatih karyawan menjadi pribadi unggul. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di industri pariwisata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian adalah talent acquisition bertujuan agar perekrutan lebih strategis dan lebih sesuai dengan tujuan organisasi, sedangkan talent onboarding membangun loyalitas dan keterlibatan pada karyawan untuk keberhasilan jangka panjang. Abstract

Talent mapping berkontribusi bagi organisasi untuk memetakan kemampuan dari seorang karyawan dan training apa yang harus diberikan kepada karyawan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui talent mapping yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa talent mapping mempunyai hubungan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan karena mengidentifikasi potensi, memahami kelemahan dan kekuatan/kelebihan individu, dan memberikan panduan untuk pengembangan karir. Talent mapping diperlukan bagi perusahaan untuk memetakan potensi karyawan dan mengembangkan karyawan tersebut sesuai dengan kemampuan yang harus dimilikinya untuk mendukung produktivitas yang diinginkan perusahaan. Talent mapping bukan hanya sebagai alat evaluasi, tetapi juga merupakan strategi untuk membangun lingkungan kerja yang memotivasi, mendukung pertumbuhan, dan mengoptimalkan potensi karyawan. Abstract

Succession planning ialah proses mengidentifikasi, merancang dan melatih pemimpin yang baru untuk kebutuhan masa depan atau sebagai pengganti pemimpin yang sudah ada untuk melanjutkan kepemimpinan yang dapat diandalkan dalam suatu perusahaan. Career planning ialah proses dimana seorang individu mengetahui jalur karir yang diinginkan dan mencapainya. Penetapan tujuan karir bisa berupa pendek, menengah dan panjang, kemudian menentukan langkah yang perlu diambil untuk mencapai tujuannya. Adanya succession planning dan career planning bagi perusahaan migas itu sangat penting. Selain untuk mempersiapkan talenta baru, tetapi juga dapat membantu seorang individu untuk mengetahui kelebihan, kekurangan, skill dan kemampuan. Perusahaan migas tersebut mementingkan perencanaan karir dan perkembangan karyawan karena mereka tau dengan ini dapat mendorong tenaga kerja yang stabil dan meningkatkan loyalitas karyawan. Untuk mencapai kesuksesan, perusahaan ini menjalankan adanya succession planning dan career planning, tidak hanya memberikan pelatihan. Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh retensi karyawan terhadap karyawan rumah sakit di Kota Batam. Pada saat ini persaingan sumber daya manusia semakin ketat sehingga organisasi memerlukan perkembangan sumber daya manusia guna mencapai tujuan organisasi yang optimal. Organisasi dapat mengelola sumber daya manusia yang baik untuk memastikan kelangsungan hidup organisasi dalam konteks keseimbangan ekonomi dalam jangka panjang, karena bagi organisasi yang terus beroprerasi sumber daya manusia adalah fondasi. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai faktor - faktor pengaruh dari usaha peningkatan retensi karyawan pada rumah sakit tipe B di Kota Batam. Metode pengumpulan data, metode pengolahan data, dan analisis data adalah método pengolahan data yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa variabel kompensasi, kepuasan kerja, dan keterlibatan karyawan terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan positif terhadap retensi karyawan. Berbeda dengan itu variabel keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan manajemen bakat tidak terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how companies’ environmental performance is affected by Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), with a focus on the moderating influence of corporate environmental ethics and the mediating effect of green organizational culture. Methodology/approach: A quantitative research approach was employed, with data acquired through surveys aimed at organizations implementing GHRM policies. The links between GHRM, green organizational culture, corporate environmental ethics, and environmental performance were examined using path analysis. Results/findings: Green organizational culture serves as a mediator between GHRM and environmental performance, and GHRM activities greatly improve corporate environmental performance. The positive correlation between GHRM and environmental performance is reinforced by corporate environmental ethics, underscoring the significance of ethical commitment in maximizing GHRM's advantages of GHRM. Conclusions: Green organizational culture and environmental ethics are key to improving sustainability, while GHRM supports but does not directly drive performance. Companies should focus on building strong green values and ethical practices. GHRM, green culture, ethics, and performance are interconnected, with ethics moderating GHRM’s impact of GHRM. To enhance GHRM’s effectiveness of GHRM, firms should offer training, promote eco-values, and align policies with sustainability goals. Limitations: As the data are restricted to companies that have implemented GHRM policies, the conclusions might not qualify as relevant to other companies. Deeper qualitative insights are not offered by quantitative methods. Contribution: This study adds to the body of knowledge in GHRM by highlighting the vital roles that environmental ethics and green organizational culture play in improving corporate environmental performance.
