Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' basic literacy skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic) and their digital readiness index, as well as its implications for building superior human resources toward Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) 2045. This quantitative research employs an ex post facto approach, involving 350 elementary school students from five Indonesian provinces as samples. Data were collected through basic literacy tests (PISA-standardized) and a digital readiness questionnaire measuring four aspects: digital skills, technology access, information literacy, and attitudes toward technology. Statistical analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation and linear regression tests to identify relationship patterns. The results show a significant positive correlation between basic literacy skills and the digital readiness index (r = 0.62, p 0.01). Students with higher literacy levels tend to have better technology adaptation abilities, particularly in information literacy (β = 0.48). These findings support the hypothesis that basic literacy serves as a critical foundation for mastering digital competencies in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution. However, regional disparities were observed in technology access, which moderates the strength of the relationship. This study highlights the urgency of enhancing technology-based basic literacy as a strategy to achieve the 2045 superior human resources target. Policy recommendations include integrating digital content into literacy curricula and equalizing technology infrastructure in underdeveloped regions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in supporting inclusive learning and integrating Pancasila values in primary education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study in several elementary schools in the Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep regions. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of curriculum and learning documents. The results of the study show that the Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers in designing and implementing inclusive learning. Pancasila values such as mutual cooperation, social justice, and appreciation for diversity have been successfully integrated into learning activities. Teachers and students demonstrate a deeper understanding of these values and are able to apply them in everyday school life. The conclusion of this research is that the Merdeka Curriculum is effective in supporting inclusive learning and integrating Pancasila values in primary education. This has a positive impact on the development of students' character and creates a more inclusive and harmonious learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang pengaruh bullying terhadap kesehatan mental remaja. Bullying merupakan suatu tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukan karena adanya paksaan terhadap seseorang maupun sekelompok orang yang berkepribadian lemah. Maraknya perilaku bullying di lingkungan remaja saat ini memberikan dampak yang dapat menghambat perkembangan remaja. Ada beberapa cara yang dapat menimbulkan adanya perilaku bullying seperti, mental, fisik bahkan media massa. Pada umumnya, korban dari perilaku bullying adalah remaja-remaja yang enggan berinteraksi antar sesama. Dengan adanya artikel ini, bertujuan untuk menginformasikan pengaruh bullying terhadap kesehatan mental remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang sumber datanya diperoleh dari jurnal yang relevan. Dari data yang kami peroleh menunjukkan bahwa perilaku bullying terjadi karena adanya faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Perilaku bullying memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap perkembangan remaja baik secara verbal maupun non verbal. Perilaku bullying secara verbal biasanya dapat dilakukan dengan tindakan seperti mengancam, menghina, melecehkan dan lain sebagainya, sedangkan perilaku bullying secara non verbal dapat dilakukan dengan sengaja memojokkan korban, menghancurkan hubungan pertemanan korban.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by the snakes and ladders media "Play With Dyno" on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade I students at SDN Barurambat Kota 1 Pamekasan. The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes due to conventional learning methods that are less interesting and the lack of interactive media. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class IA as the experimental group and class IB as the control group. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the TGT model assisted by the snakes and ladders media was applied. This approach has been proven to be able to increase student involvement, facilitate understanding of number concepts, and create a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere. The conclusion of this study is that the TGT model with the snakes and ladders media "Play With Dyno" is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade I students and is worthy of being used as an alternative learning strategy in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Scramble Game type of cooperative learning model assisted by Canva media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN Barurambat Kota 1 Pamekasan. The background of this research is based on the low student learning outcomes in Indonesian, caused by a lack of active student involvement and the continued use of teacher-centered learning models. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 56 students, divided into an experimental class and a control class, each comprising 28 students, selected through random sampling. The research instrument was a learning outcome test administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest scores of students in the experimental and control classes. This was evidenced by a t-test significance value of 0.00 0.05. The mean score difference between the two classes indicated that the experimental class experienced an improvement of 26.536 points higher than the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the Scramble Game type of cooperative learning model assisted by Canva media has a significant influence on improving the Indonesian language learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN Barurambat Kota 1 Pamekasan.

Abstract

Kanker merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan di Indonesia, dengan angka kejadian dan kematian yang terus meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang kanker dan behavioral medicine yang dimoderasi oleh usia di masyarakat Kabupaten Jombang. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan sampel 96 responden, yang diambil melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang kanker memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap perilaku kesehatan (koefisien jalur 0,18; p = 0,03), sedangkan moderasi usia terhadap hubungan ini tidak signifikan (koefisien jalur 0,13; p = 0,10). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun pengetahuan tentang kanker penting, faktor lain seperti stigma dan akses layanan kesehatan juga berkontribusi terhadap perilaku kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, intervensi kesehatan perlu mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek di luar pengetahuan untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku kesehatan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan berkelanjutan tentang kanker untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan tindakan preventif di masyarakat.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that has the highest incidence and mortality rate in the world and in Indonesia among other cancers. One of the causes of death due to breast cancer is influenced by poor prognosis due to cancer’s late detection. One method of early detection is mammography. Mammography is an examination method to detect cancer cells and assess breast density, which is a risk factor for breast cancer. Reporting the results of breast density types uses the BI-RADS grading, which is divided into 4 categories. Breast density is influenced by various factors, one of which is the lipid profile (triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL, and HDL). This study used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional study design. The samples were members of Dharma Wanita group of Universitas Brawijaya and female members of the Indonesian Radiographers Association in Malang from October 2021 to January 2022. The data was analyzed using the non-parametric chi-square test. The results of each component of the lipid profile showed p-values (p < 0.05) = 0.172, 0.619, 0.226, 0.829, for triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL, and HDL, respectively. This means all lipid profile components do not have a significant relationship with the density of the breast parenchyma.

Abstract

Rasmussen’s aneurysm is a pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm, secondary to the invasion of granular tissues to the pulmonary artery wall, causing massive hemoptysis. A 39-year-old male, with a history of pulmonary TB presented with massive hemoptysis, persistent cough, and dyspnea. Chest X-ray and Chest CT depicted active pulmonary tuberculosis and a co-infection with aspergillosis in the form of aspergilloma. Chest CT angiography (CTA) showed narrow-necked Rasmussen’s aneurysm with the feeding artery coming from the pulmonary artery of the apicoposterior segment and the systemic artery from the left thyrocervical trunk branch and left bronchial artery. Fluoroscopy-guided transarterial embolization with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and gel foam was performed from the left bronchial artery and thyrocervical trunk branch followed by transcatheter embolization with glue insertion via the pulmonary artery in the aneurysmal site. After the procedures the embolic agent completely filled the aneurysm and there were no complaints of hemoptysis during the follow-up. Appropriate chest CT angiography procedures can help diagnose Rasmussen’s aneurysm and become a road map for embolization. Transarterial catheter embolization from bronchial or non-bronchial systemic artery and pulmonary artery can be used as the treatment modality of choice for Rasmussen’s aneurysm in pulmonary tuberculosis with aspergillosis co-infection in the form of aspergilloma.

Abstract

Introduction: Lithopedion is an ectopic pregnancy that progresses to fetal mortality and calcification, as described in the introduction. It is uncommon, with a reported incidence of 1.5% to 2% of all ectopic pregnancies. The fetus expires and is not absorbed by the mother's body, but it evades maternal immunity by surrounding itself with a calcified shell. Lithopedion can be diagnosed through abdominal X-rays, ultrasonography, and CT imaging. Case presentation: A 73-year-old female complaining of abdominal mass for over three decades and radiating pain to the right hip for a month. The patient is multipara with a history of habitual abortion. There was an immobile abdominopelvic mass in palpation. The ultrasound showed a large calcified mass in the pelvic cavity. Abdominal and pelvic CT revealed a mummified fetus, depicting great detail of the fetal anatomy surrounded by a calcified membrane. The uterus was normal. Our case is suitable with lithokelyphopedion. Conclusion: Lithopedion is a seroius condition associated with high maternal and perinatal mortality rates. The condition was not identified during prenatal visits. A thorough history and physical examination are as important as imaging investigations in this setting. Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk memfasilitasi keberagaman karakteristik siswa, sehingga pembelajaran dapat dilakukan lebih inklusif dan adaptif. Kegiatan pemberdayaan guru ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa rangkaian kegiatan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru khususnya dalam memahami, menyusun, dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai kebutuhan disekolah. Peserta workshop ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan pengawas TK di Kecamatan Mayangan Kota Probolinggo meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan ini tim pengabdian melakukan koordinasi awal dan melakukan analisis kebutuhan bersama mitra. Workshop terlaksana dengan lancar pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2024 di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Probolinggo. Pada kegiatan ini juga dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan dengan refleksi kelompok dan kuesioner yang menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peserta sebesar 94%, peningkatan pemahaman materi 93%, relevansi kegiatan 94%, dan manfaat praktis sebesar 93%.
