Abstract

The active development of the potential of students to possess spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed for themselves, society, the nation, and the state is the established goal of education. The objective of this research is to identify issues related to the difficulties in early reading among first-grade students. In this study, the researcher employed a qualitative descriptive research design. The subjects of this research were 18 first-grade students from State Elementary School 064982 Medan Helvetia. The research results indicate that the highest difficulty aspect for students in early reading is difficulty in listening and comprehending the content of the reading, with a score of 13%. The next difficulty in early reading is in the aspect of reading aloud fluently, with a score of 33%. Another difficulty experienced by students is reading meaningless words, accounting for 39%. Following that, the difficulty in reading individual words is at 47%. The last aspect of difficulty in reading is identifying letters, with a score of 78%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan ke keefektifan media pembelajaran Buku Saku Berbasis Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran Tema 5 subtema 1 komponen Ekosistem Kelas V SD Negeri 106810 Sampali T.A 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Kefektifan produk di ukur dari hasil belajar siswa melaui intstrumen pre test dan post test. Hasil kevalidan oleh validator ahli materi sebesar 90% termasuk kategori “sangat layak” dan ahli media sebesar 86% masuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Penilaian oleh pendidik memberikan 92% masuk kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil belajar siswa Pretest dan Post test menggunakan Media Buku Saku Berbasis Mind Mapping adanya peningkatan dari 52,64 menjadi 89,28. Hasil uji N-Gain score 0,88 dengan persentasi 88,29% dengan kriteria “sangat efektif”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Buku Saku Berbasis Mind Mapping layak digunakan menjadi media pembelajaran tematik dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 106810 Sampali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikasi dari metode pembelajaran role playing pada pembelajaran tematik muatan pelajaran PPKn dan Bahasa Indonesia pada tema 3 subtema 2 pembelajaran 2 untuk siswa kelas III MI Madinatussalam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III A dan III B MI Madinatussalam tahun 2023/ 20224. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III A dan III B yang berjumlah 64 orang siswa yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket validasi dan tes (soal). Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan: diperoleh nilai uji-T post test eksperimen 84,063 dan post test kontrol 65,156, pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 yang dimana ? 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada metode pembelajaran role playing terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik muatan pelajaran PPKn dan Bahasa Indonesia pada tema 3 sub 2 pembelajaran 2 kelas III MI Madinatussalam T.A 2023/2024.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Hasil belajar kognitif Matematika peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan Media Ular Tangga kelas IV; 2) Hasil belajar kognitif Matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan Media Ular Tangga kelas IV; 3) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan media ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar Matematika kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi eksperiment nonequivalent control grup design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 095139 Semangat Baris dan peserta didik kelas IV MIS An-Nazam Baja Dolok. Sampel penelitian adalah SD Negeri 095139 Semangat Baris sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 24 peserta didik dan MIS An-Nazam Baja Dolok sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 23 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas tes pilihan ganda, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan Media Ular Tangga terhadap hasil belajar Matematika materi Bangun Datar kelas IV SD. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perhitungan Uji-t yaitu t-hitung > t-tabel (4,616 > 2,014) sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.Keywords: Kooperatif, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), Media Ular Tangga, hasil belajar

Abstract

This aim of this research is to develop teaching material of Billingual Learning Course for PGSD Student of Unimed. This research uses the dick and carrey model on develop the teaching material. The results of this research are: (1) Description of the needs for Bilingual learning materials, (2) Skills needed by students in communicating using English in teaching in elementary schools, (3) PJBL-based Bilingual Learning materials and (4) test results data/expert validation namely; English teaching experts gave a score of 36 with an average score for each questionnaire item = 3.6 and teaching materials experts gave a score of 39 with an average score for each questionnaire item = 3.9. Therefore, it can be concluded that the teaching materials of Bilingual Learning using the PJBL model have fulfilled the theoretical aspects of curriculum development and teaching materials development.

Abstract

AbstractThis mentoring program aims to improve teacher competency in utilizing educational teaching aids (APE) at the PAUD Seroja Desa Ara Payung. The stages of activities carried out through the mentoring program include: (1) mentoring the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in PAUD, (2) mentoring on how to make educational teaching aids in PAUD, (3) mentoring how to use teaching aids in PAUD learning, (4) simulation in the form of lesson study on the use of educational teaching aids in PAUD, (5) open class/real teaching using educational teaching aids in PAUD learning, (6) monitoring and evaluation, and (7) follow-up. Based on the stages of the activities carried out, teacher competency can be improved in terms of formulation of the lesson plan, the making of educational teaching aids, and their effective use in learning in PAUD. Specific targets and outcomes generated through the mentoring program include: (1) the module for making educational teaching aids in PAUD learning, (2) educational teaching aids based on themes in PAUD learning, (3) teachers using educational teaching aids that will documented in the form of learning videos, (4) scientific publications in online ISSN journals and mass media. The method of implementing assistance is carried out through several stages, including (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) monitoring and evaluation, and (4) follow-up. With the method used, it is able to improve teacher competencies related to the use of educational teaching aids in the learning process effectively in PAUD.Keywords: Educative Teaching Aids, Teacher Competence, PAUD.

Abstract

Character education-based e-modules are an innovation in education that aims to increase the effectiveness of learning and expand accessibility to subject matter by integrating positive values and attitudes in students. Currently, the Logic Learning Module at SMA Satu Padu Boarding School-Tiga Juhar still uses a conventional approach without integrating character education values and has not adopted online learning. This research aims to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of developing an e-module based on character education for class XI students in the Logic subject at SMA Satu Padu Boarding School-Tiga Juhar. The research method used was research and development (R&D), with research subjects totaling 19 class XI students. The object of this research is the Basics of Logic material. The research stages include validation tests by material experts, media experts, and design experts, as well as individual and group trials on the use of character-based e-modules. This research also tests the effectiveness of e-modules based on character education. The research results show that students who use e-modules based on character education are "more effective" than students who have not used e-modules based on character education. This was shown in individual testing of the use of character-based e-modules, with a score of 3.45 and a percentage of 68.97% deemed feasible. In the field group testing, it showed a score of 3.78 with a percentage of 75.01% where the criteria were eligible

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to design a problem-based learning-based teaching profession textbook using the ICARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, Extension) pedagogical approach; to assess the viability and efficacy of a PBL-based teaching profession textbook. Using the Borg and Gall paradigm, this research methodology called research and development (R&D). The study was carried out at the FIP Unimed, PGSD Department, Teaching Profession course. Students and instructors with expert validation—that is, specialists in learning design, visual design, and materials—were the study's subjects. Additionally, by carrying out field, small-group, and individual trials. Expert validation from subject matter experts, learning design experts, and graphic design experts is required for the entire product's results. In order to identify a teaching profession textbook based on PBL and assess its viability and efficacy, the following step involves conducting individual, small group, and field trials as well as carrying out revisions and analysis. ANOVA and/or the t-test will be used to examine the quasi-experimental approach (pretest-posttest with control group design) and the study's findings. The study's findings show that the PBL-Based Teaching Profession Textbook is deemed useful and appropriate for use in the classroom, with the potential to enhance student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktikalitasan dan keefektivitasan pengembangan media pembelajaran VEBO (Verb Board) berbasis canva untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 125554 T.A. 2023/2024 di Nagahuta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan Model ADDIE ( Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) skor rata-rata dari validasi ahli media yaitu 44 dengan persentase 91,66% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, skor rata-rata dari validasi materi yaitu 37 dengan persentase 92,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. (2) skor rata-rata dari praktisi pendidikan yaitu guru diperoleh skor 37 dengan persentase 92,5% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. (3) skor rata-rata pretest-posttest yang meningkat dari 63,81 menjadi 90,75 dengan N Gain Score 75,10 termasuk dalam kategori “Cukup Efektif”. Selain itu, skor rata-rata penilaian kemampuan membaca Kata Kerja Siswa meningkat dari sebelum menggunakan media 68,51 dan setelah menggunakan media menjadi 92,12. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media VEBO (Verb Board) berbasis canva sudah layak, praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Kata Kerja pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di kelas IV.

Abstract

The background of this research is the unavailability of E-LKPD which is able to attract students' interest in learning in grade IV SD. This study aims to produce Inquiry-based E-LKPD assisted with articulate storytelling that is valid, practical and effective in supporting learning success. This research is research and development using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of this research was class IV students at SDN 018092 Lobu Rappa and the object of this research was an inquiry-based E-LKPD with the aid of an articulate storyline. The results showed that the validation by stage I material experts before revision obtained a percentage of 68% in the category "Easy with Revision" then in stage II obtained a percentage of 89.3% in the category "very feasible without revision" and the results of the design validation stage I obtained a percentage of 55% "Enough Feasible with Revision" then in stage II obtaining a percentage of 63.75% in the category "very feasible with revision" then stage III obtaining a percentage of 86.25% in the category "very feasible without revision". Practical trials by education practitioners obtained a percentage of 96% in the "very practical" category and the results of student responses in field trials in individual trials obtained 93% results, in small group trials obtained a percentage of 97% and large group or field trials obtained results percentage of 98%. The results of the media effectiveness test through the pretest obtained an average of 33.33 with the "Not Complete" completeness criterion while in the posttest obtained an average of 88.125 with the "Complete" completeness criteria. It can be concluded that the product developed is very feasible, practical and effective for use in learning in elementary schools.
