Abstract Herbal preparations have started being used to support poultry health. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of meniran and turmeric extracts as well as the combination of both on the blood profile (hemoglobin, hematocrit, erythrocytes, leukocytes, and plasma protein) of chickens. This study used 80 layer chickens (DOC), which were randomly divided into 4 groups (A, B, C, and D, each group contain 20 chickens). Group A was the control, group B was treated with turmeric extract (100 mg/kg BW), group C was treated with meniran extract (100 mg/kg BW), and group D was treat with a combination of meniran and turmeric extracts (each dose 100 mg/kg BW). Treatment was given for 30 days. Blood samples were collected on the end period for examination. Statistical analysis of the data were done through the one-way ANOVA method. The results showed that the blood profiles (hematocrit, hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes, and total plasma protein) with turmeric and meniran extract treatments were still within normal range and not significantly different from the control group (P> 0.05). Based on this research, it can be concluded that the treatment of extract turmeric and meniran or a mixture of both at a dose of 100 mg/kg body weight for 30 days does not affect the blood profile. Keywords: meniran, turmeric, blood profile, chicken Abstrak Penggunaan sediaan herbal mulai banyak digunakan untuk mendukung kesehatan unggas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pengaruh ekstrak kunyit dan meniran serta kombinasi kedua ekstrak terhadap gambaran darah (hematokrit, eritrosit, hemoglobin, leukosit, dan total protein plasma) ayam. Pada penelitian ini digunakan 80 ekor day old chicken (DOC) layer, yang secara acak dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok (A, B, C dan D, masing-masing kelompok 20 ekor). Kelompok A sebagai kontrol, kelompok B sebagai perlakuan yang diberi ekstrak kunyit (dosis 100 mg/kg berat badan), kelompok C diberi ekstrak meniran (dosis 100 mg/kg BB), dan kelompok D diberi campuran ekstrak meniran dan kunyit (masing-masing dosis 100 mg/kg BB). Pemberian ekstrak kunyit dan meniran dilakukan selama 30 hari. Sampel dikoleksi pada akhir periode penelitian untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan darah. Analisis data secara statistik menggunakan ANOVA one way. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak kunyit dan meniran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai hematokrit, eritrosit, hemoglobin, leukosit, dan total protein plasma dibanding kontrol (P>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak kunyit dan meniran maupun campuran keduanya dengan dosis 100mg/kg berat badan selama 30 hari tidak berpengaruh terhadap gambaran darah ayam. Antioksidan adalah suatu senyawa yang dapat menangkap radikal bebas. Salah satu sumber anti oksidan alami adalah dari tumbuh-tumbuhan. Dalam usaha pencarian antioksidan baru, telah dilakukan identifikasi senyawa antioksidan dari ekstrak n-heksana kulit batang Garcinia bancana Miq dengan metode 1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH). Metode isolasi dilakukan dengan caraÂ kombinasi kromatografi (Kromatografi kolom vacum, kromatografi kolom gravitasi, kromatografi lapis tipisÂ sentrifugal dan kromatografi lempeng tipis)Â Penentuan struktur molekul berdasarkan analisis data spektroskopi UV-VIS, IR, LC-MS, NMR proton dan karbon. DariÂ hasil isolasi didapatkan suatu senyawa isoprenil bezofenon dengan bobot molekul 466,22 dan Â rumus molekul C28H34O6 dengan nama IUPAC 3-(3,4-dihidroksibenzoil)-4-hidroksi-8-8-dimetil-1,7-bis(3-metilbut-2enil) bisiklo (3.3.1) non-3-ene-2,9-dione atau disebut bacanone yang diduga senyawa baru. Dari proses isolasi juga ditemukan senyawa atsiri b- caryophyllene, Î±-humulene dan b-cadinene serta stigmasterol. Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak n-heksana dan hasil isolat murni menunjukkan IC50 berturut-turut 17,78 ppm dan 12,79 ppm dimana pembanding kuersetin adalah 9,90 ppm.Kata kunci:Â Garcinia bancana, antioksidan, DPPH, 3-(3,4-dihidroksibenzoil)-4-hidroksi-8-8-dimetil-1,7-bis(3-metilbut-2enil)bisiklo(3.3.1)no-3-ene-2,9-dione, bacanone.Â Antioxidants are compounds that can capture free radicals. One source of natural antioxidant is from plants. On searchingÂ for new antioxidant, identification of antioxidant compound of the n-hexane extract of the stem bark of Garciniabancana Miq was done byÂ 1.1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH) method. Isolation active compound were done by combination of chromatographic methods (Flash column chromatography, gravitation column chromatography, cetrifugal thin layer chromatography and thin layer chromatography) .Determination of molecular structure by analysis spectroscopic data of UV-VIS, IR, LC-MS, NMR proton and carbon.Isolation results wereÂ Â Â Â Â isophrenyl bezophenon with molecular weight 466.22 and the molecular formula is C28H34O6 IUPAC name 3 - (3,4-dihydroxybenzoil)-4-hydroxy-8-8-dimethyl-1,7-bis (3-methylbut-2enyl) bicyclo (3.3.1) non-3-ene-2,9-dione or named bacanone wich is suspected as a new compound. From the isolation were also found of known volatile compounds b - caryophyllene, Î±-humulene and b-cadinene and stigmasterol. The test results of antioxidant activity ofÂ n-hexane extract and pure compoundÂ showed IC50 respectively 17.78 ppm and 12.79 ppm which comparison withÂ quercetin is 9.90 ppm. In search of potensial protease inhibitor, especially those which inhibit trypsin activity, preliminary screening of some plant extracts of Legumlnoceae family has been carried out. From 9 (nine) plant extracts examined, those which gave potential enzyme inhibition, were leaf and bark extracts of Caesalpinia pulcherima, and Caliandra chaemotocepala, and bark extract of Delonic regia, Leucaena glauca, and Sesbanla grandlflora . Thin layer chromatographic analysis of the leaf and barkextracts of the plants considered to have the most potensial inhibitor activity indicated that the active principles were of peptide and polyphenollc compounds.

The sweet principles of A.precatorius leaves had been claimed as glycyrrihizin compound. The recent publication however showed that A. precatorius leaves, plant materials collected in Miami (Florida-USA), do not contain glycyrrhizin. The sweet tasting compound are triterpene cycloortan« glycosides, i.e : abrusoside A.B,C and D, having sweetness potencies in the range 30-100 times greater than sucrose. Compare to theA.precalorius leaves from Miami (Florida - USA), the glycosides of A. precatorius leaves collected in Bandung, (Indonesia), showed different thin layer chromatographic performance. By using techniques of bioactivity guided fractionation, some sweet compounds in A.precatorius leaves from Bandung could be isolated and characteriud. These compounds may be potential for sugar substitution for the diet of diabetic and obesitic patients.

Cibotium barometz (L.) J. Sm. (Cibotiaceae) merupakan salah satu jenistumbuhan paku pohon komoditi ekspor yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggikarena kandungan kimianya yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan obattradisional maupun modern. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada isolasi kandungankimia dan evaluasi anti oksidan, antidiabetes dan toksisitas ekstrak rimpangdan bulu C. barometz terhadap larva udang Arthemia salina L. (BSLT). Hasiluji antiokoksidan ekstrak metanol bulu dan rimpang serta hasil fraksionasidengan menggunakan metoda radical scavenger DPPH (Diphenyl PicrylHidrazyl), bahwa fraksi etil asetat dan butanol menunjukkan aktivitasberturut-turut dengan IC50 27,53 dan 46,24 ppm dan ekstrak metanol rimpangdan ekstrak metanol bulu dinyatakan kurang aktif dengan IC50 183,43 dan126,10 ppm. Hasil uji toksisitas dengan metoda Brine Shrimp Lethality Test(BSLT) dinyatakan tidak toksik dan hasil uji anti diabetes dengan metoda Î±-glukosidase juga tidak aktif. Hasil isolasi senyawa kimia ekstrak rimpang danbulu C. barometz dengan metoda kromatografi kolom gravitasi dandiidentifikasi berdasarkan data-data spektra IR dan RMI proton dan karbonserta LC-MS, ekstrak n-heksana rimpang dan ekstrak metanol bulu C.barometz, diperoleh senyawa metil dodekanoat (A), ÃŸ-sitosterol (B), ÃŸ-sitosterol-O- glukopiranosida (C) dan 2,3,4,5,6-pentahidroksi sikloheksanasam karboksilat (D).

ABSTRACT One of the invasive procedures performed on children is therapy via intravenous (intravenous infusion). Anxiety experienced by parents can immediately be seen from changes in their behavior disorders. In this situation, the nurse's role as a source of information and support for the family. Information from medical personnel is needed for parents to monitor their child's condition time after time. Support for mothers as parents of children admitted to hospitals explains that parents feel calmer when the nursing team is able to provide support so that they are able to form positive coping. This type of research is quantitative with pre-experimental research design using one group pretest posttest approach. The population in this study were all mothers who have children under five years old at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital Palembang in 2019, while the number of samples taken in this study were 20 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that the average score of maternal anxiety in infants who had infused infants before being given health education was 59.00 and a standard deviation of 3.00. The maternal anxiety score for toddlers who underwent infusion before being given the lowest health education was 55 and the highest score was 65. The average anxiety score of mothers in toddlers who underwent infusion after being given health education was 52.90 and the standard deviation was 4.45. The maternal anxiety score for toddlers who performed infusion of toddlers after being given the lowest health education was 45 and the highest score was 61. There was an influence of health education on maternal anxiety for toddlers who performed infusion of toddlers at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital Palembang in 2019 (ρ = 0,000) , with a difference in average score of 6.1 .. As for the advice given to the Officer not only focuses on physical assessment but also assesses the psychological parent of the child so that mothers who have abnormal anxiety get the right treatment. This research is aimed to test a paper currency counterfeit detection system based on Linear Vector Quantization (LVQ) Neural Network. The input image of the system is the dancer object image of? paper currency Rp. 50.000,-? fluorescent by ultraviolet light. The image of paper currency data was taken from conventional banks. The LVQ method is used to recognize whether the paper currency being tested is counterfeit or not. The coding was carried out using visual programming language. The? feature size of the dancer tested object is 114x90 px and the RGBHSI was extracted as the input for LVQ. The experimental results show that the system has an accuracy 100% of detecting 20 real test case data, and 96% of detecting 22 simulated test case data. The simulated case data was generated by varying the brightness of the? image data. The real test case data contains of 10 counterfeit paper currency and 10 original paper currency. The simulated case data contains of 11 original paper currency and 11 counterfeit paper currency. The best setting for the system is? Learning Rate = 0.01 and MaxEpoh = 10.

Availability of information is increasing rapidly, the method for encoding and storage of information also increased. The number of sources of information brings several problems, among them about how to combine the distributed data storage and different. Information on an organization or company is usually stored in separate locations and different formats. When there is an increase in storage capacity and the amount of information search costs, the company faced with an abundance amount of data. System development methodology used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with a development framework Guidlines for Rapid Application Engineering (GRAPPLE). The software used in building this application is Borland Jbuilder 9. Rational Rose 2000 is used for the analysis and design using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Mysql server is a type of database to be accessed on each operating system. Operating system used in this study is Windows XP and Linux Fedora Core. This application was developed with aglets, which is one of software for building mobile agent applications.

Learning student speaking skills is an important part of teaching Indonesian. Through learning speaking skills students are expected to be able to: Dialogue with other people, Express messages, opinions, experiences and feelings logically and systematically, discussing with regard to procedures and manners, submitting reports, speeches, remarks or lectures. and verbal feelings have been learned and possessed by students before they enter school. This ability is obtained by students in the family environment and other environments outside the school environment. But the talent that this student has is not enough to make students skilled in speaking in front of the class. The purpose of this study was to improve the speaking skills of class X.4 students of SMA Negeri 1 Trimurjo. The results of this study are the skills of the students of SMA N 1 Trimrjo in speaking with their stories when the picture can be improved.
