Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa Himpunan Mahasiswa Silvikultur (HIMASIV) Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik, khususnya serasah, menjadi kompos dan MOL (Mikroorganisme Lokal) yang bernilai ekonomis. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah banyaknya limbah organik yang belum dimanfaatkan serta minimnya keterampilan mahasiswa dalam pengolahan sampah. Program dilaksanakan melalui lima tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam produksi kompos dan MOL, pemanfaatan area green house dan shade house sebagai ruang hijau produktif, serta terbentuknya sistem pengelolaan sampah berbasis kampus yang berkelanjutan. Program ini juga membuka peluang wirausaha lingkungan di kalangan mahasiswa dan dapat direplikasi untuk mendukung gerakan kampus hijau yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Purpose: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be the primary cause of global morbidity and mortality, predominantly attributable to modifiable risk factors such as unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, and so on. While behavioral interventions are critical, the effective implementation of prevention strategies is often hindered by resource limitations. The integration of community-based strategies with mobile health (mHealth) technologies presents a promising approach for scalable, personalized risk mitigation. This review evaluates the efficacy of community-integrated mHealth inter- ventions in reducing CVD risk factors. Methods: We searched multiple databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published over the last 10 years. Fourteen RCTs (n = 9,862 participants) met inclusion criteria, with interventions combining mHealth tools and community components. The risk of bias was assessed using the Cochrane RoB 2.0 tool, and meta-analyses were conducted using RevMan 5.4. Results: mHealth and community have demonstrated considerable efficacy in diminishing various cardiovascular risk factors. The primary mechanisms include enhanced adherence to a healthy lifestyle, continuous monitoring, and improved access to health-related information. The results of the meta-analysis are directly proportional to the findings, which significantly reduce the risk factors for heart disease: healthy dietary patterns (p < 0.0001), physical activity (p = 0.04), BMI (p = 0.002), systolic blood pressure (p = 0.002), and diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.02). However, total cholesterol and fasting blood sugar did not have significant results, namely (p=0.23) and (p=0.77). Conclusion: Community-integrated mHealth is an effective strategy for addressing CVD risk factors.

Abstract

The Gaza-Israel conflict, ongoing since 1948, reignited on October 7, 2023, with a series of rockets fired by Hamas into Israel. This study analyzes the framing of the Hamas-Israel conflict in online media, specifically Kompas.com and The New York Times, using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis, which includes defining problems, diagnosing causes, making moral judgments, and offering treatment recommendations. This qualitative research examines 20 news articles to explore how each outlet shapes perceptions of reality. Results reveal that Kompas.com emphasizes specific facts and figures, while The New York Times highlights emotional impacts. In diagnosing causes, Kompas.com connects the issue to the suffering of Palestinians, whereas The New York Times focuses on the broader Israel-Hamas conflict. For moral judgment, Kompas.com draws on historical context and direct impacts, while The New York Times condemns violence and stresses empathy for human suffering. Regarding treatment recommendations, Kompas.com rarely presents explicit solutions, while The New York Times advocates for international diplomacy and broader approaches.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of Tax Planning and Profitability on a company's value, with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) serving as a moderating factor. The purpose of this investigation is to gain insight into how tax regulations and profitability impact corporate value, along with the contribution of effective governance in managing this relationship. By employing quantitative techniques, the study analyzes secondary information from 61 manufacturing firms registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023, utilizing various methods, including linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The findings reveal that Tax Planning positively and significantly affects a company's value. However, there is a lack of evidence suggesting that profitability has a considerable effect on corporate worth. Furthermore, GCG has a significant negative moderating effect on the relationship between tax planning and company value, indicating that the positive effects of tax planning might be diminished. On the other hand, GCG shows a substantial positive impact on the relationship between a firm's value and profitability. This research concludes that while Tax Planning is vital for enhancing company value, the application of GCG may influence this relationship.

Abstract

Knowledge about fall risk prevention is very much needed by the patient's family, one of which is through audio visual education on fall risk prevention. This study aims to determine the effect of audiovisual education on fall risk prevention in the ICU of Hospital. This research method uses a Preexperimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with 28 respondents. The sample determination used a purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is audiovisual education, while the dependent variable in this study is knowledge of fall risk prevention. Data analysis used the Paired T-Test. There is significant increase in knowledge was obtained before and after audiovisual education was conducted on respondents, there was an increase from 3.11 to 6.96 and an increase in knowledge of 57.1% from 1 (3.6%) person to 17 (60.7%) person. Based on the results of the Paired T-test statistical test, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.000 which means that statistically there is an effect of audiovisual education on the prevention of the risk of falling on the patient's family in the ICU of Hospital. The audiovisual education method for preventing the risk of falls is an effective educational method for education with a result of an increase in knowledge.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) mengintegrasikan living law melalui Pasal 2 ayat (2) sebagai sumber hukum pidana supletif. Penelitian ini menganalisis interaksi asas legalitas dengan living law dalam KUHP baru, dengan rumusan masalah: (1) Bagaimana kedudukan asas legalitas dalam UU Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang KUHP ketika membuka ruang berlakunya living law sebagai sumber hukum pidana? (2) Bagaimana konstruksi normatif mengenai living law dalam Pasal 2 KUHP jika ditinjau dari prinsip non-retroaktif, khususnya terkait batasan, kriteria, dan mekanisme penetapan hukum adat sebagai sumber hukum pidana?. Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan normatif yuridis dengan analisis kualitatif, termasuk dalam menafsirkan secara konstitusional, sistematis, dan gramatikal terhadap Pasal 1 hingga 3 KUHP. Data primer yang digunakan terdiri dari KUHP, UUD 1945, dan Putusan MK Nomor 46/PUU-XIV/2016; sedangkan data sekunder meliputi literatur tentang hukum pidana, jurnal SINTA, dan doktrin hukum adat. Fokus analisis terletak pada prinsip nullum crimen, nulla poena sine praevia scripta lege dan non-retroaktif (Pasal 3 KUHP). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa asas legalitas tetap menjadi yang utama seperti yang diatur dalam Pasal 1 ayat (1), dengan hukum yang hidup berfungsi untuk mengisi kekosongan sejalan dengan kriteria Pancasila, HAM, dan keselarasan masyarakat adat. Konstruksi pada Pasal 2 memastikan penerapan non-retroaktif melalui pendekatan prospektif, batasan substansial, serta mekanisme verifikasi di pengadilan yang melibatkan tokoh adat dan Kementerian Hukum dan HAM. Penggabungan ini memperluas pluralisme dalam hukum pidana sesuai dengan Pasal 18 B UUD 1945, tetapi membutuhkan adanya Peraturan Pemerintah sebagai pelaksana untuk menjamin kepastian hukum serta mencegah terjadinya penafsiran yang subjektif.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a key factor in educational success. This study aims to analyze the effect of Employee Performance Targets (Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai / SKP) and work discipline on teacher performance at SDN Parerejo III, Pasuruan Regency. The study employed a quantitative method using an explanatory associative causal survey approach. The research population consisted of all six teachers at SDN Parerejo III, with a census sampling technique applied. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that, partially, both SKP and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, these two variables contribute 78.2% to the variation in teacher performance. The study concludes that SKP and work discipline play an important role in improving teacher performance; therefore, it is recommended to optimize the e-performance system and strengthen a culture of discipline within schools.

Abstract

This quantitative study aims to compare pre-examination anxiety levels among 46 university students from various higher education institutions based on five learning style categories (Visual, Auditory, Writing, Kinesthetic, and Social). Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a One-Way ANOVA. The assumption tests indicated that the data were normally distributed (Shapiro–Wilk, p = 0.092) and that variances across groups were homogeneous (Levene’s Test, p = 0.791), thereby meeting the requirements for parametric analysis. The main analysis revealed no significant differences in anxiety levels among students with the five learning styles (F(4,41) = 1.954; p = 0.120 > 0.05). Further analysis using the Tukey HSD post hoc test also confirmed the absence of significant differences across all group pairs. These findings indicate that dominant learning styles do not significantly influence students’ academic anxiety responses prior to examinations. The results suggest that educators should continue to implement varied instructional strategies and foster supportive learning environments to help all students effectively manage emotional pressure during examination periods.

Abstract

Penanganan korupsi di Indonesia masih menghadapi persoalan tumpang tindih kewenangan penyidikan antara Kepolisian dan Kejaksaan. Tidak adanya batas kewenangan dan mekanisme koordinasi yang jelas berpotensi menimbulkan disharmonisasi kewenangan serta mengganggu kepastian hukum dan keadilan proses peradilan pidana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaturan kewenangan penyidikan tindak pidana korupsi antara Kepolisian dan Kejaksaan serta mengkaji dampak tumpang tindih kewenangan tersebut terhadap asas kepastian hukum dan prinsip due process of law. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual, perundang-undangan, dan kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumpang tindih kewenangan penyidikan tindak pidana korupsi disebabkan oleh ketidakjelasan pembagian kewenangan antara Kepolisian dan Kejaksaan dalam Undang-Undang Kepolisian dan Undang-Undang Kejaksaan. Disharmonisasi norma tersebut berdampak pada terganggunya asas kepastian hukum karena subjek hukum tidak memperoleh kejelasan mengenai lembaga yang berwenang menangani suatu perkara. Selain itu, kondisi tersebut berpotensi melanggar prinsip due process of law, khususnya terkait kepastian prosedur, perlindungan hak tersangka, dan pencegahan tindakan sewenang-wenang dalam proses penyidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Deskriptif Kuantitatif dan Metode Sampling Jenuh sebagai metode pemilihan sampel yang berjumlah 50 Responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunkan kuesioner yang diukur dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan Anaalisis Regresi Linear Berganda menggunakan SPSS 22. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Keterampilan Kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Komunikasi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.
