Abstract

This research is motivated by the limitations of time learning that can be used by students in the class with the characteristics of vocational learning that requires students to know with skills (competencies). The teacher-centred learning process also slows the level of mastery of the material that students should have. The purpose of this research is to produce the appropriate e-modules used in the subjects of computer and basic network students in grade X TKJ at SMK. The type of this research was Research and Development by using ADDIE development model. This type of development research is with analysis (analysis) needs to be developed, design to choose Media, design and make media, development (development) test Practicality, practical done by 1 teacher and 30 students, implementation is done implementation in students by teacher, and Evaluation (evaluation) of data assessment result of multimedia-based learning module deserves to be used in Classroom as a simulation tool learning computer lessons and basic networks. Multimedia-based learning modules are applied because they are quality, easy to use and have a fascination if used in the learning process.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Nagari Koto Gaek Guguak, Kabupaten Solok yang merupakan salah satu sentra produksi pinang iris. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah keterbatasan sumber listrik yang tidak stabil dan mencemari lingkungan dengan pengoperasian mesin pengering berbahan bakar oli bekas yang berdaya rendah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah membangun sistem solar cell sebagai sumber tenaga listrik alternatif untuk mendukung operasional rumah produksi pinang iris agar lebih efisien, mandiri, dan ramah lingkungan. Metode pelakasanaan antara lain survei kebutuhan energi, perencanaan teknis sistem solar cell berkapasitas daya 900 watt, instalasi peralatan, serta evaluasi kinerja sistem. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan produktivitas pinang iris sebesar ±30%, penghematan biaya listrik hingga ±50%, serta efektif menjaga lingkungan sekitar dalam mengoperasikan teknologi energi terbarukan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan ialah pemanfaatan solar cell terbukti efektif dalam mendukung produktivitas pinang iris secara mandiri dari segi pemanfaatan energi terbarukan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan meta analisis. Meta analisis merupakan metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan, menelaah, dan menganalisis berbagai hasil penelitian yang telah ada sebelumnya guna menerima atau menolak hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian terkait. Tahap awal penelitian ini dimulai dengan menetapkan permasalahan utama, yaitu mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Selanjutnya, peneliti menentukan dan menyeleksi artikel yang relevan berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, yakni artikel yang memuat pengaruh pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM dengan variabel moderator berupa kemampuan berpikir kritis, jenjang pendidikan, serta materi pembelajaran yang digunakan. Setelah proses seleksi dilakukan, tahap berikutnya adalah pengkodean data untuk memperoleh informasi tambahan yang diperlukan dalam menginterpretasikan hasil meta analisis secara lebih komprehensif dan sistematis. Langkah terakhir yaitu menghitung nilai effect size dari setiap penelitian yang dianalisis, kemudian mengelompokkannya ke dalam kategori berdasarkan variabel moderator yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis jenjang pendidikan, diperoleh bahwa nilai effect size pada sekolah menengah atas lebih tinggi dibandingkan sekolah menengah pertama. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis STEM lebih efektif diterapkan pada jenjang sekolah menengah atas, terutama pada materi usaha dan energi.

Abstract

Conventional learning evaluation methods such as using paper are considered less valid, less reliable, and impractical. The solution offered is the development of test questions using the Quiizizz application in the Basic Electrical Engineering subject that is valid, reliable, and practical in SMK. The method used is the Research and Development ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Research data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to research respondents, namely class X students of Electrical Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. To produce research products, namely valid, reliable, and practical test questions, validation was carried out by two expert lecturers in their fields. The product was tested for validity using the Aiken's V formula. The results of the test questions' validity can be categorized as valid. The reliability test used the Kuder Ricadson 20 formula. The results of the test questions' reliability can be categorized as reliable. The practicality test showed results that were included in the practical category.

Abstract

The use of learning media in science education is increasingly important to improve students' learning competence and motivation, yet there is still a gap in the understanding of the effectiveness of strategic media management. This study aims to explore the role of learning media management in improving students' competencies as well as understanding the influence of students' preferences for learning media on their learning motivation. This study used a quantitative design with a survey method. The sample consisted of 54 junior high school students in North Sumatra Province who were selected using the convenience sampling method. Data were collected through an online survey covering four main constructs: teachers' learning media management strategies, students' science competencies, students' preferences for learning media, and students' learning motivation. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS (V.4) software to test the validity and reliability of the research instruments and SPSS (V.26) to analyze the relationship between variables through multiple regression analysis (univariate; ENTER model). The results showed that effective management of learning media, especially in visualizing complex concepts, had a significant influence on improving the procedural aspects of students' competence, although the influence on conceptual understanding was still limited. In addition, students' preference for relevant, engaging, and contextualized media was shown to positively influence their motivation, especially in the aspects of active engagement and learning comfort. These findings highlight the importance of interactive and strategic media design and the need for teacher training in maximizing the use of learning media. The implications of this study include the development of educational policies that support the integration of student preference-based learning media and the increase of teachers' capacity to manage media effectively to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of science and technology can make students interested in participating in the learning process so that it can increase student competence. The reality in the field is that there are still many teachers who have not used schoolology-based online learning because of a lack of information. Teachers are less creative in developing teaching materials that suit the characteristics of students. This research began when researchers discovered gaps in conditions in the field that teachers were still not using technology enough, so that learning was less varied. The aim of the research is to produce online learning content using Schoology in elementary school science learning that is practical, valid and effective to increase student competence. The research uses the ADDIE model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research produces online elementary science learning content using schoology. The results of the research show that based on the expert assessment of the material, language and media the learning content developed was declared valid, practical based on the responses of students and teachers, and effective in increasing students' competence.
