Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan salah satu faktor kunci keberhasilan dalam pendidikan, terutama pada anak usia dini yang memiliki karakteristik belajar melalui pengalaman menyenangkan. Bahasa Arab, sebagai bahasa Al-Qur'an, memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan Islam. Namun, tantangan utama dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab untuk anak usia dini adalah membuatnya menarik dan relevan bagi dunia anak-anak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas metode bermain dalam meningkatkan minat anak usia dini terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur dan observasi partisipatif pada beberapa institusi pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bermain, seperti permainan kata, lagu-lagu interaktif, dan kegiatan bercerita, mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan mendorong partisipasi aktif anak. Aktivitas bermain yang dirancang sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan anak juga membantu memperkenalkan kosakata dan struktur bahasa Arab secara alami. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode bermain bukan hanya meningkatkan minat anak, tetapi juga memperkuat pemahaman dasar bahasa Arab. Rekomendasi untuk praktisi pendidikan adalah mengintegrasikan permainan yang berbasis nilai-nilai edukasi dalam kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa Arab, guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik dan bermakna bagi anak-anak.

Abstract

Dance is one of the essential tools in supporting the development of early childhood, especially in motor, social, emotional, and creative aspects. This study aims to examine the dance teaching methods applied at PAUD/TK Syawal and their influence on children's development. This topic was chosen due to the lack of integration of dance education in many early childhood institutions. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of two dance teachers, several students, and parents involved in learning activities. The results showed that teachers at PAUD/TK Syawal taught dance creatively using familiar children’s songs, simple movements, and rhythmic musical instruments. These activities were proven to enhance children’s activeness, confidence, movement coordination, and expressive ability. This study highlights the importance of dance as an integral part of early childhood learning that is not only entertaining but also educational. In conclusion, appropriate dance teaching methods have significant potential in shaping children's character and holistic skills.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of dance movement art learning on the development of creativity, motor skills, and social-emotional wellbeing in preschool children (ages 4-6). The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a subject group of 28 children from TK Harapan Bunda, Jakarta. Data was collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of the learning process over 6 months. The findings indicate that the implementation of dance movement art learning with a thematic approach and free movement exploration can: (1) enhance children's expressive ability and creativity in creating movement variations, (2) significantly develop both gross and fine motor skills, (3) improve teamwork skills and social spatial awareness, and (4) help children express emotions constructively. This research recommends the importance of integrating dance movement art into the early childhood education curriculum with an approach that emphasizes freedom of expression and creative exploration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how group dance activities can contribute to the social development of early childhood. Social development in childhood is very important because it is the basis for children's ability to interact, cooperate, and build relationships with their surroundings. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation techniques for children involved in group dance activities at one of the PAUD institutions. The results of the study showed that through group dance activities, children showed improvements in terms of cooperation, communication, empathy, and the ability to follow rules and take turns. These activities also facilitate children in recognizing social roles and building self-confidence. Thus, group dance activities can be used as an effective strategy in supporting the social development of early childhood.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of movement and dance arts learning in Smart and Cheerful PAUD as an effort to optimize early childhood development. Movement and dance arts activities have been proven to have a positive impact on gross and fine motor skills, creativity, social-emotional, and children's self-expression. This study used observation and ability test methods on children's participation in art activities. The results showed that most children were able to follow simple dance movements, recognize musical rhythms, dare to perform, and demonstrate good body coordination. Movement and dance arts learning not only supports physical and emotional growth, but also strengthens children's love for local culture. Therefore, movement and dance arts need to be made an integral part of the PAUD curriculum in a structured and enjoyable way, so that they can have a holistic impact on children's development.
