Abstract

The research aims to assess the effectiveness of using problem-based learning-oriented chemical bonding modules in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study falls under the category of Research and Development with a four-D product development model. The research design employs a quasi-experimental approach with a post-test-only control group design using experimental and control classes for comparison. Effectiveness assessment is carried out using interview guidelines, observation sheets, and tests to determine students' critical thinking abilities. The effectiveness analysis technique involves independent sample t-tests and Cohern's effect size. The results of the independent sample t-test indicate a difference in students' critical thinking abilities before and after using problem-based learning-oriented chemical bonding modules. The effect size values suggest a moderate level of effective contribution, ranging from 0.20 to 0.80. Consequently, the research findings conclude that problem-based learning-oriented chemical bonding modules are effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang sangat penting dalam suatu organisasi, karena merupakan sumber daya yang dinamis dan selalu dibutuhkan dalam setiap kegiatan organisasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan penelitian asosiatif. Dalam penelitian ini instrument yang digunakan dalam operasionalisasi variabel yaitu kuesioner menggunakan skala likert. Populasinya adalah pegawai PNS pada kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Bima yaitu sebanyak 72 pegawai yang terdiri dari 45 PNS dan 27 honorer. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang akan digunakan adalah  45 pegawai PNS dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Penataan Kota Bima ini antara lain Observasi, Kuisioner, dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengolah data dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana, Koofisien Korelasi, Uji Koefisien Determinasi, dan Uji T. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengawasan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja pegawai pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang  Kota Bima.

Abstract

Kasus perselingkuhan yang terjadi melalui media sosial sedang menjadi kasus yang banyak di perbincangkan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia. Perselingkuhan melibatkan berbagai kalangan, mulai dari artis, aparat kepolisian, pegawai negeri, hingga tokoh masyarakat, bahkan masyarakat biasa. Dalam pandangan islam, perselingkuhan juga bisa dikaitkan dengan perilaku zina. Berangkat dari kasus-kasus yang sudah viral pada media sosial, dalam penelitian ini merangkum penyebab, dampak terhadap korban, anak, dan pengguna media sosial, positif maupun negative, dan pandangan islam, serta pandangan psikologi mengenai perselingkuhan. Penulisan artikel ini menggunkan metode obervasi, wawancara dan studi literatur (Library research) atau telaah pustaka. Secara keseluruhan, perselingkuhan merepresentasikan deviasi relasional yang berdampak destruktif terhadap stabilitas emosional dan keseimbangan psikologis kedua belah pihak. Individu perlu menumbuhkan komitmen moral dan emosional yang kuat serta membangun komunikasi terbuka dengan pasangan agar tidak merusak hubungan rumah tangga dengan perelingkuhan. Pengendalian diri dan kedewasaan emosional menjadi kunci dalam mencegah perselingkuhan serta menjaga integritas dan kestabilan hubungan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas rendah melalui penggunaan media UTABACI di SD Karakter Aci Bangkalan. Kondisi awal menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam membedakan bentuk huruf, melafalkan huruf sesuai bentuknya, membaca suku kata, serta membaca suku kata berakhiran konsonan. Sasaran program adalah seluruh siswa kelas rendah di sekolah tersebut. Pelaksanaan program menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dan metode ceramah sebagai pendekatan interaktif untuk membimbing siswa dalam proses membaca. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan guru kelas rendah mengenai kemampuan membaca siswa sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa, terlihat dari kemampuan siswa dalam mengenali huruf, membaca suku kata, serta membaca kata sederhana. Selain itu, penggunaan media UTABACI yang berbasis permainan ular tangga terbukti meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar membaca secara aktif dan menyenangkan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media UTABACI dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran membaca bagi siswa kelas rendah, sekaligus mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara partisipatif dalam kegiatan belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan platform asesmen berbasis gamifikasi AI terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental, tepatnya model nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Uji prasyarat dilakukan melalui uji normalitas dan homogenitas, sedangkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi uji independent sample t-test sebesar 0,00, lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Sesuai kriteria pengujian, jika nilai signifikansi < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan platform asesmen berbasis gamifikasi AI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa di SDN Kemayoran 02 Bangkalan. Temuan ini juga didukung oleh hasil angket respon siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa 92% peserta didik sangat setuju dengan penggunaan platform asesmen berbasis gamifikasi AI.

Abstract

Gestational diabetes (GDM) is a condition of increased blood glucose levels that is first detected during pregnancy, and not only affects the mother during pregnancy, but also increases the risk of long-term metabolic and endocrine complications after delivery. Women with a history of GDM are at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). These metabolic complications can appear within 5 to 20 years after pregnancy, with insulin resistance as the main triggering factor. In addition, thyroid disorders and PCOS can interfere with hormone function, which has an impact on the body's metabolic balance and reproductive health. Some risk factors that contribute to these long-term complications are obesity, family history of diabetes, age, and post-pregnancy lifestyle. Proper handling through routine screening, healthier lifestyle changes, and medical therapy are needed to reduce the risk of complications and improve the quality of life of women after pregnancy. With early detection and effective prevention, long-term complications due to GDM can be minimized, which can ultimately prevent women from the risk of other chronic diseases.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work flexibility, financial compensation, and employee empowerment on job satisfaction at PT Propan Raya ICC Palembang. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon occurring within the company, where employees are beginning to demand more than just competitive salaries they also seek flexible working arrangements, fair compensation, and opportunities to be empowered in their roles. Based on interviews with several employees, it was found that rigid working systems, perceived unfair compensation, and limited autonomy negatively impact job satisfaction. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method, with questionnaires distributed to 85 respondents, representing the total population used as the study sample. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that both partially and simultaneously, the three independent variables work flexibility, financial compensation, and employee empowerment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. These findings support Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, which states that job satisfaction is achieved when employees’ needs from basic to self-actualization are fulfilled. This research is expected to serve as a reference for PT Propan Raya ICC Palembang in formulating more adaptive, fair, and empowering work policies to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty. Abstract

Low learning discipline among elementary school students, particularly fifth-grade students at SDN Kamal 1, has a significant impact on the effectiveness of instruction, as reflected in behaviors such as arriving late to class, lack of focus during lessons, non-compliance with rules, and low commitment to completing assignments. This study aimed to describe teachers’ strategies in fostering students’ learning discipline, identify the challenges faced, and explain the solutions implemented in the learning process. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study design was employed, with the fifth-grade classroom teacher selected through purposive sampling as the main subject. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which comprises data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that three main strategies—habituation, role modeling, and positive reinforcement—play an effective role in shaping students’ learning discipline, although their implementation remains constrained by low discipline habits in the home environment and limited student self-awareness. These results reinforce character education theory that emphasizes the importance of value internalization through continuous habituation and reinforcement, and they affirm that the success of discipline formation does not depend solely on teacher strategies but also requires support from the family environment and the broader school ecosystem. The study implies the need for more intensive collaboration between teachers and parents, strengthening of habituation programs at school, and the development of learning strategies that are more responsive to students’ characteristics and needs.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of fulfilling students’ nutritional needs as a key factor supporting the success of teaching and learning processes in elementary schools, given that poor nutritional quality often leads to reduced concentration, learning enthusiasm, and attendance. The study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) at UPTD KAMAL 1 Bangkalan on students’ attendance, motivation, and learning atmosphere. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving students and teachers as research participants. Data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and documentation, and were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of behavioral change and dynamics in students’ activities after participating in the program. The findings show that the MBG Program has a significantly positive impact on students’ enthusiasm and discipline, as reflected in increased attendance, reduced tardiness, and high motivation to come to school in the morning. Shared meal activities create a warm and inclusive atmosphere, strengthen social interaction among students, and foster closer relationships between teachers and students, while simultaneously enhancing students’ focus and readiness to learn after breakfast. These findings reinforce the understanding that adequate nutrition has a direct effect on students’ mental readiness, emotional comfort, and engagement in the learning process. The study concludes that the MBG Program not only contributes to meeting students’ nutritional needs but also improves the overall quality of the learning process, and offers practical implications for schools and government in designing sustainable nutrition programs as an effort to enhance the quality of education at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading literacy abilities of sixth-grade students at UPTD SDN Kamal 1 from the perspective of the classroom teacher, particularly regarding reading fluency, text comprehension, and the factors that influence these abilities. The research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, in which the researcher acts directly as the main instrument through observation activities, structured interviews, and the collection of supporting documents. The sixth-grade teacher serves as the research subject, while the aspects examined include students’ reading abilities as well as their interest and motivation in literacy activities. The results show that most students are able to read, yet still lack fluency in pronunciation and experience difficulties in understanding the meaning of the text. The teacher explains that low reading interest is the dominant factor hindering the development of literacy skills, as reflected in the students’ limited participation in reading activities both at school and at home. The observational findings support this, showing that several students appear passive, have low concentration, and struggle to answer questions related to the text. An unsupportive classroom atmosphere also affects the process of learning to read. Overall, the study indicates that students’ literacy skills remain focused on technical aspects without deeper comprehension. Therefore, cooperation between teachers and the school environment is needed to cultivate a literacy culture through more engaging learning activities, effective classroom management, and strengthened reading motivation.
