Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning model using E-Learning on the learning outcomes of class X MIPA students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. This research is a pre-experimental research design using One Group Pretest-Postest. The population in this study were students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. The research sample was selected with a specific purpose (purposive sampling), namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations in order to obtain one class, namely class X MIPA 1, totaling 27 students. The data collection technique used is through tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the posttest mean score of 74.07 was higher than the posttest average score of 28.74. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the flipped classroom model have an average value that is in the good category and the Flipped Classroom learning model is effective on student learning outcomes on virus material for Class X MIPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. Keywords: learning models, Flipped Classroom, learning outcome

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning learning model based on ARCS motivational strategies on motivation and students scientific attitude on the environmental change in 10th grade of SMAN 11 Pinrang. This type of research is quasi-experimental research involving two groups in which one acts as an experimental group and the other as a control group with the research design Matching pretest-postest comparison group design. The sample in this study were students of class X EXACT 2 as an experimental class and class X EXACT 1 as a control class obtained using random sampling techniques by taking cognitive scores from the previous semester and looking at their equivalence with a significance value of 0.275 with a class conclusion conducted an equivalent study in terms of cognition. The type of research instruments used were the Motivation and Scientific Attitudes questionnaire. The learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choice tests is used as supporting data to prove the correlation or relationship between students' motivation with the learning outcomes they have obtained. Descriptive statistics are used to describe interests and learning outcomes while inferential statistics to test the research hypotheses carried out by covariance analysis. The results showed that (1) there was an influence on the use of PJBL based on ARCS motivational strategies on the students motivation of SMAN 11 Pinrang (2) there was an influence on the use of PJBL based on ARCS motivational strategies on the scientific attitude of SMAN 11 Pinrang. Keywords: PJBL, ARCS motivational strategy, motivation questionnaire, scientific attitude questionnaire

Abstract

Abstract. This descriptive study aims to determine: 1) the suitability of learning objectives with basic competencies (BC), 2) the distribution of cognitive process levels of learning objectives based on Bloom's taxonomy revision, and 3) the completeness of the components of the formulation of learning objectives in the lesson plan (LP) for high school biology teachers at SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. There were 11 LP studied, namely 6 LP for the even semester of class XI and 5 LP for the even semester of class XII for the academic year 2020/2021 which consisted of 22 BC, 80 indicators of competency achievement (ICA), and 80 formulations of learning objectives. The instruments used are assessment sheets and checklists. The data is processed by calculating the percentage (%) of each category. It was concluded: 1) the suitability of the learning objectives with the dominant BC (63.75%) was appropriate, 28.75% was quite suitable, and 7.50% was not suitable; 2) distribution of levels of cognitive process learning objectives based on the revision of Bloom's taxonomy dominant (53.75%) C2, each level has been represented but not proportionally; 3) the completeness of the dominant learning objective component (97.50) is incomplete, containing only audience and behavior components, some even have only behavior components. Keywords: lesson plans, learning objectives, suitability, distribution, completeness.

Abstract

Technological developments and the era of digitalization in the 21st century demand innovation in education, especially in the development of learning media, which is the basis behind this research. This research aims to develop an interactive e-module with ecosystem material based on the I-Spring application for class X SMA Negeri 5 Gowa which is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects were biology subject teachers and class X students at SMA Negeri 5 Gowa. Data was collected through e-module validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires. The validity of the emodule was measured with a validity percentage of 4.39, while practicality was measured through the responses of teachers (91.45%) and students (88.81%), both of which indicated the very practical category. Keywords: E-module, R&D, ADDIE, Valid, Practical.

Abstract

Abstract. The study aims to determine the effect of the active strategy type Questions Student Have on critical thinking skills. The type of research consists of a quasi-experiment. The research design consists of a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of all students in grade X of SMA Negeri 22 Makassar consists of 5 classes with a total of 180 students. The sample selection was carried out randomly so that class X.2 (experimental) and class X.5 (control) were selected. Data analysis techniques consist of descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis of the critical thinking test score of 49.61 are in the less category while the learning outcomes score of 79.31 are in the very high category. The results of the normality test of the sig. data value> 0.05, so that the data on students' critical thinking skills are normally distributed. The results of the homogeneity test of the sig value Based On Mean> 0.05 so that it is declared homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test of the Sig value 0.001 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is an effect of the Questions Student Have type strategy on critical thinking skills. The conclusion is that the active strategy type Questions Student Have can encourage students to be more active in participating in the learning process.Key words: Type of Questions Students have, critical thinking, quantitative research, descriptive analysis, inferential analysis.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to enhance students’ conceptual understandings of the circulatory system topic by utilizing multiple representations. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students in grade 11-Merdeka 6 at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. The results showed that using multiple representations (macro, micro, sub-micro, and symbolic) significantly increased student understanding of the structure and function of the human circulatory system. The students’ score average increased from 63 in cycle-1 to 77 in cycle-2, with classical mastery increasing from 3.45% to 89.66%. The average N-Gain score of 0.375 falls into the moderate category. This study implies that the multiple representations strategy is effective in deepening students' understanding of abstract biological concepts. Keywords: multiple representations, knowledge of the circulatory system, action research.
