Abstract

This research aims to provide an analysis in the realm of planning, implementation and obstacles in the process of implementing an independent curriculum in teaching and learning activities in science or science subjects in class IV 28 Pontianak City Elementary School. This research uses qualitative research. The data collected was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects in this research included class IV A teachers and class IV B teachers. Next, the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique through four stages, including the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was carried out using technical triangulation. This research resulted in a science and science learning planning process where an educator designs teaching modules that have been adapted to independent curriculum procedures which consist of three elements including general information, core components and attachments. In the process of implementing learning, educators have implemented a learning system based on the suitability of the learning flow available in the teaching module so that learning can be carried out based on the syntax of the learning model used. The obstacles felt by educators in the process of implementing their curriculum in natural science and natural science subjects in class IV include adapting material to learning objectives, time management in carrying out teaching and learning activities, and the availability of infrastructure, for example lack of internet or WiFi network facilities and projector.

Kata kunci: kesadaran hukum, konservasi, penyu ABSTRACTIndonesia is the habitat of six types of turtles out of the seven turtles in the world. They are protected by Law no. 5 of 1990 concerning Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems, and is listed as an animal on the IUCN red list. One of the places where many turtles nest is on the South Coast of Central Java, especially Kembar Beach, Kebumen Regency. This article aims to analyze the community's legal awareness in turtle conservation efforts in the Kembar Beach area, Puring District, Kebumen Regency. This research is exploratory qualitative research with a legal approach. The research was conducted at the Kembar Beach turtle conservation group, Kebumen. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires as the main data, as well as interviews and observations. The research results show that public legal awareness of turtles as protected wild animals is high. However, socio-cultural and economic factors still have an influence on turtle conservation efforts. Constraints in sea turtle conservation are multi-faceted, including socio-culture that conflicts with conservation, especially in the tradition of sea turtle throwing, not optimal legal knowledge of the local community, and the unavailability of specific legal instruments in the Region as technical guidelines in the management of sea turtle conservation. Keywords: legal awareness, conservation, turtles.

Abstract

Purpose - Lecturer research performance is critical for university success, yet the interplay between leader expectation, coworker pressure, and organizational support remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the effect of leader expectation and coworker pressure on lecturer performance, with organizational support as a mediating variable. A quantitative descriptive method was employed using data from 90 lecturers sampled from private universities in Cirebon City, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that leader expectation significantly impacts lecturer research performance, while organizational support mediates the relationship between coworker pressure and research performance. This study introduces a novel perspective on the positive role of coworker pressure in enhancing research performance when supported by strong organizational support. Universities should prioritize leadership development, foster collaborative work environments, and establish policies that promote research productivity through enhanced organizational support, such as accessible research facilities and effective communication channels.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of SL using statistical literacy ability test questions integrated with Indonesian education issues through a quantitative descriptive research approach to 116 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah University Muara Bungo. The results showed that students were still low in Statistical Literacy skills. These results can be seen from 75% of students who scored below 60 and 25% of students who scored above 60 on the Statistical Literacy ability test. Then, it can be seen from the average ability of students to solve SL test questions based on Indicators, namely 71.33% in indicator 1, 53.16% in indicator 2, and 57.18% in indicator 3. At the same time, the average student who is able to solve SL questions is 28.67% in indicator 1, 46.84% in indicator 2, and 42.82% in indicator 3. Based on in-depth interviews, researchers see the main factor in the low SL ability of students being that they have not mastered descriptive statistics. The main factor that helps students solve SL questions is the Indonesian Education Issue approach. Researcher suggest that further research needs to be done that can improve students' SL skills through the application of learning models, the development of learning models, or the application of learning strategies to solve SL problems.
