Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) merupakan gangguan pada tulang yang diakibatkan oleh gerakan dalam waktu lama secara berulang dengan posisi statis sehingga suplai darah ke pergelangan tangan, dan saraf terganggu. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh ultrasound (US) dan Carpal Bone Mobilization dalam menurunkan derajat nyeri, merelaksasikan otot, serta meningkatkan lingkup gerak sendi, pada penderita Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Metode : penelitian menggunakan metode case study, Pada seorang pasien  dengan umur 66 tahun, yang berprofesi sebagai pensiunan guru. Hasil : setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak 6 kali menunjukkan bahwa pemberian  US dapat mengurangi nyeri, dimana nyeri gerak yang awalnya 5 menjadi  3, dan nyeri tekan yang awalnya  4 menjadi 2. Dan pemberian Carpal Bone Mobilization dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot fleksi dan radial deviasi yang awalnya 4 menjadi 5. Kesimpulan : Ultrasound dapat mengurangi nyeri dan  Carpal Bone Mobilization dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Kata kunci : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) , ultrasound (US), Carpal Bone Mobilization AbstractBackground : Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a disorder of the bones caused by repeated movements for a long time in a static position so that the blood supply to the wrist, and nerves is disrupted. Objective: To determine the effect of ultrasound (US) and Carpal Bone Mobilization in reducing the degree of pain, relaxing muscles, and increasing the scope of motion of the joints, in patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Method: research using the case study method, In a patient with the age of 66 years, who works as a retired teacher. Results: after 6 times therapy showed that US administration can reduce pain, where motion pain from 5 to 3, and tenderness from 4 to 2. And the administration of Carpal Bone Mobilization can increase flexion muscle strength and radial deviation from 4 to 5. Abstract

Bullying among junior high school students is still a serious problem that negatively affects the psychological and social well-being of students. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic education in preventing and overcoming bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 4 Lubuk Pakam. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, students, and school policies related to bullying prevention. The results showed that the internalization of Islamic religious values contributes to shaping the character of students who are more tolerant, empathetic, and respectful of others. However, the approach used by schools in dealing with bullying is still reactive, focusing more on counseling and mediation after the incident rather than preventive strategies. Islamic education has provided a moral foundation for students, but its effectiveness is still affected by less interactive teaching methods. To increase the effectiveness of Islamic education in preventing bullying, innovations in learning methods are needed, such as group discussions, case simulations, and family involvement in building a positive social environment. The implication of this study shows that the integration of Islamic education with a more interactive and systematic approach can strengthen bullying prevention efforts in schools.

Abstract

The research aims are as follows: 1) To understand the school's strategies in getting students admitted to public universities through the SNMPTN/SBMPTN (UTBK) pathways at MAN 1 West Aceh, 2) To identify the inhibiting factors in implementing the school's strategies to achieve student admissions to public universities through the SNMPTN/SBMPTN (UTBK) pathways at MAN 1 West Aceh, and 3) To assess the impact of these strategies on student admissions to public universities through the SNMPTN/SBMPTN (UTBK) pathways at MAN 1 West Aceh. The research employs a field research methodology, which involves collecting data directly from the field. Data is gathered through observations and interviews conducted with respondents aligned with the research objectives, as well as through document analysis. The research findings indicate the following: 1) The strategies employed by the school to ensure student admissions to public universities through the SNMPTN/SBMPTN (UTBK) pathways at MAN 1 West Aceh include improving semester grades, enhancing student motivation and learning enthusiasm, honing student skills, collaborating with education-focused entities, and introducing additional after-school learning sessions. 2) The inhibiting factors affecting the implementation of these strategies for student admissions to public universities through the SNMPTN pathways at MAN 1 West Aceh encompass a lack of knowledge about selected majors in the SNMPTN system, challenges related to inputting accurate grades, as well as issues concerning students' motivation and enthusiasm to pursue higher education at public universities. The solutions involve fostering cooperative efforts among teachers to optimize the teaching process, encouraging the school community's commitment to maintain accurate student assessments, and showcasing the dedication of teachers to successfully guide students to higher education. Additional steps include prioritizing student registration for achieving scholarships like "bidik misi" and other forms of financial aid. 3) The impacts experienced by MAN 1 West Aceh due to students succeeding through the SNMPTN pathways include enhancing the school's image and reputation in the eyes of the community, boosting the motivation of potential new students to enroll, elevating the school's accreditation, and serving as an indicator of the performance of both teachers and the school.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the key factors influencing the success or failure of partnership programs for SMEs, specifically those fostered by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III. The study fills gaps in existing literature and offers practical recommendations for enhancing partnership program design and implementation. Data were gathered from 243 SME business actors using a structured questionnaire, and multiple linear regression analysis was employed to evaluate the relationships between various independent variables and the success of the programs. The findings indicate that experience, knowledge, social networks, and business performance positively affect program success, while communication barriers and high transaction costs hinder success. However, factors like funding amount and communication behavior were found to be insignificant in this context. Based on these results, the study recommends investing in partner training to improve experience and knowledge, developing effective communication strategies, reducing transaction costs, and leveraging social networks. These recommendations aim to enhance the effectiveness of partnership programs, supporting the growth of SMEs and contributing to policy and practice in both Indonesia and globally.

Abstract

Brand awareness serves as a crucial factor in setting apart educational institutions amidst competition and enticing potential stakeholders. Utilizing video content emerges as an effective avenue for conveying a university's ethos and values, thereby enriching brand recognition. This study endeavors to explore impactful strategies in video content creation aimed at fortifying the brand awareness of Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (Unipdu). Employing a qualitative methodology, the research employs in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and content analysis to glean insights from Unipdu stakeholders. Through thematic analysis, recurring patterns and themes concerning effective video content strategies for brand awareness are delineated. The findings unveil Unipdu's alignment with branding theory, accentuating the emphasis on brand identity development, strategic positioning, and the cultivation of brand equity. Concurrently, content marketing strategies, tailored to each stage of the buyer's journey, are implemented to effectively engage prospective students. In conclusion, Unipdu's concerted efforts in strategic branding and content marketing, underpinned by theoretical frameworks, have propelled the university to the forefront of the education sector. By harmonizing content strategies with audience requisites and assessing effectiveness, Unipdu not only bolsters its brand perception but also beckons stakeholders, thereby fortifying its competitive edge.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital community strategies by PT Ace Hardware Indonesia to enhance customer interaction and loyalty through a case study in Banjarmasin City. In the digital era, an active customer community has become a critical strategic asset for companies to build long-term relationships with consumers. This research employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with company representatives to explore how digital platforms, such as mobile applications, social media, and loyalty programs, are effectively utilized. The findings indicate that PT Ace Hardware Indonesia adopts interactive content campaigns, exclusive discounts, and personalized features to boost customer engagement. Additionally, the established digital community enables customers to discuss, share experiences, and provide valuable feedback, indirectly strengthening brand loyalty. With consistent implementation, the company successfully expands its market share while creating an enhanced customer experience. This study provides practical insights for other companies seeking to integrate digital community strategies as part of their marketing efforts and customer relationship management in a technology-driven environment.

Abstract

This study applies one of the scopes of SFL in Milk and Honey poems collection. This study examines the mental process in Milk and Honey poems collection. The purposes of this study are (1) to identify the kinds of mental processes in Milk and Honey poems collection, (2) to explain the reason of the author represented the kinds of mental processes in Milk and Honey poems collection. By using a descriptive method, this research tries to describe the facts concerning the objects of the research, namely mental process. Therefore, the researcher collects the data, analyzes, and derives conclusions about the various forms of mental process in Milk and Honey poems collection and the way the author represents the form of mental process in Milk and Honey poems collection. This study uses theory from Halliday & Matthiessen. According to the theory, the mental process is divided into three types: cognition, affection, and perception. The analysis shows that cognition and perception dominates the author’s representation in Milk and Honey poems collection, while affection is the least type that appears in this poems collection. Those are implied that the author wants to tell women for using their thought and sensitivity instead of using their feeling to express their supposed intention.

Abstract

Pengembangan IPTEKS yang sangat pesat menuntut pemerintah Indonesia melakukan review dalam segala bidang termasuk kurikulum pendidikan. Pemerintah Indonesia telah mencanangkan kurikulum merujuk Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) melalui Perpres No. 08 tahun 2012. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum merujuk KKNI pada program studi pendidikan islam anak usia dini (PIAUD) FITK UIN-SU Medan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan model Hannafin & Peck yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu: wawancara terstruktur, dan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji persentase rerata skor. Hasil penelitian ini mengembangkan produk berupa buku kurikulum PIAUD merujuk KKNI yang terbukti sangat valid dan sangat baik untuk digunakan oleh mahasiswa PIAUD. Hal tersebut karena kurikulum yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi unsur KKNI, merujuk KMA 15 tahun 2018, dan mengikuti perkembangan IPTEKS dan dunia kerja di bidang PAUD.

Abstract

The oil palm commodity is a source of income for most farming households, especially in the North Sumatra area. Namu Ukur Selatan Subdistrict is one of the subdistricts in Sei Bingai subdistrict, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, which is one of the locations for oil palm planting centers. Palm oil is one of the main commodities planted by people in the region. A common problem faced by oil palm farmers in the region is a lack of information regarding the technical aspects of good oil palm plant maintenance and management. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge of oil palm farmers regarding oil palm cultivation practices, in addition to that, oil palm farmers in smallholder plantations receive information regarding aspects that influence the growth and productivity of oil palm. This service activity can also increase the production and productivity of independent farmers' palm oil, so that in the future the economic income of oil palm farmers can increase. The solution that can be provided is in the form of counseling, outreach and education related to good technical maintenance and cultivation of oil palm plants in accordance with the rules of good agricultural practices (GAP). This community service activity was carried out in Namu Ukur Selatan Village, Sei Bingai District for ± 30 days, consisting of preparation, socialization and education stages as well as carrying out activities by students and lecturers of the Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia (ITSI). The activity was attended by 20 people who are members of the People's Palm Oil Farmers, urban village heads, neighborhood chief, sub-district officials, local residents, lecturers from ITSI and supported by ITSI students. It is hoped that this community service activity will be able to educate the community on correct oil palm maintenance techniques and that the community can apply them to smallholder oil palm plantation.ABSTRAKKomoditi kelapa sawit menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi sebagian besar rumah tangga petani, terutama di daerah Sumatera utara. Kelurahan Namu Ukur Selatan merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang ada di kecamatan Sei Bingai, Kabupaten Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Indonesia yang merupakan salah satu lokasi sentra pertanaman kelapa sawit. Sawit menjadi salah satu komoditi utama yang ditanam masyarakat di wilayah tersebut. Permasalahan umum yang dihadapi oleh petani sawit di wilayah tersebut adalah kurangnya informasi mengenai teknis pemeliharaan tanaman kelapa sawit yang baik dan pengelolaannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petani kelapa sawit terkait praktek budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit, selain itu petani kelapa sawit pada perkebunan rakyat mendapatkan informasi mengenai aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produktivitas kelapa sawit. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga dapat meningkatkan produksi dan produktivitas kelapa sawit petani mandiri, sehingga kedepannya pendapatan ekonomi petani kelapa sawit dapat meningkat. Solusi yang dapat diberikan yaitu berupa penyuluhan, sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait teknis pemeliharaan dan budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit yang baik yang sesuai dengan kaidah good agricultural practices (GAP). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Namu Ukur Selatan, Kecamatan Sei Bingai selama ±30 hari yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan, sosialisasi dan edukasi serta pelaksanaan kegiatan oleh mahasiswa serta dosen Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia (ITSI). Kegiatan dihadiri oleh 20 orang yang tergabung dalam Petani Sawit Rakyat, lurah, kepling, perangkat kecamatan, warga setempat, dosen dari ITSI serta didukung oleh mahasiswa ITSI. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu mengedukasi masyarakat dalam teknis pemeliharaan kelapa sawit yang benar dan masyarakat bisa mengaplikasikan di perkebunan sawit rakyat.

Abstract

This study examines the opportunities and challenges of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into foreign language learning through a structured review of relevant literature. The findings show that AI can enhance personalized learning experiences, provide valuable teacher support, and improve access to language resources. However, challenges such as data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, and the digital divide remain significant obstacles. The study emphasizes the need for ethical AI design, ongoing teacher training, and policies that ensure inclusivity. Additionally, it stresses the importance of continuous evaluation and collaboration among educators, technology developers, and policymakers. This research contributes to a comprehensive understanding of AI’s potential and limitations in transforming foreign language education, while advocating for balanced and responsible implementation.
