Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui pengendalian sosial kenakalan siswa oleh wali kelas X SMAN10 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan informan sebanyak 14 orang terdiri dari 8 orang wali kelas dan 6 orang siswa yang melakukan kenakalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial persuasif kenakalan remaja dengan cara mengajak secara lisan dan simbolik wali kelas melakukannya dengan cara memberikan nasehat dan menempelkan kata-kata himbauan, peringatan, serta motivasi. Selanjutnya, pengendalian sosial persuasif kenakalan remaja dengan cara membimbing secara lisan, wali kelas melakukannya dengan cara pendekatan, serta memberikan pembinaan rutin setiap hari senin. Kata Kunci : Pengendalian Sosial, Persuasif, Wali Kelas Abstract:The general objective of this research is to investigate social control of juvenile delinquency by homeroom teacher of tenth grade class in SMAN10 Pontianak. This research was conducted in descriptive method. The technique of collecting the data are in form of observation technique, interview, and documentation. The analysis in this research was presented in qualitative descriptive by using 14 informants; eight homeroom teachers and 6 students who commited the delinquency. The result of this research depicted that persuasive social control of juvenile delinquency throught persuading orally symbolically and homeroom teacher gave advices, warnings, and motivation. Afterwards, the social control of juvenile delinquency was done throught orally, homeroom teacher conducted it in a form of approach and fostering every morning. Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is entitled, "Factors Analysis of the Causes of School Drop Outs in the Secondary School Education Level in Aur Sampuk Village, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency". A common problem in this study is "Factors Causing School Drop Outs from inside and outside?" The general objective in this research is to find out "Factors Causing School Drop Outs from inside and outside". The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interview guides, and documentation. The informants in this study were school dropouts and parents of school dropouts. The results showed that, factors causing children to drop out of school originating from within the child such as the desires and interests of children not to go to school and those originating from outside the child such as the economic ability of parents, awareness of the importance of education, and the child's social environment. On the factors that originate from within the child the child stops going to school because of his own desire. While factors originating from outside the child, such as the economic ability of parents, realize the importance of education and the child's social environment.Keywords: Children Inside, Out of Children, School Drop Outs

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out about, "Shifting the Meaning of Iban Dayak Tribal Tattoo Culture in Young Generation". The research method used is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. Data sources of this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation techniques, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 4 informants consisting of the oldest people in Batu Lintang Village 2 people and 2 young people. The shift in meaning of Iban tattoos to the younger generation really does occur among the younger generation because, it has been seen when generations make tattoos by adding new motifs or tattoo strokes and when making tattoos Iban young generation also no longer need to migrate or labor in the forest. Sehingga dimasa sekarang ini tato Iban sudah tidak memiliki arti bagi masyarakat Dayak Iban.Keywords: Teaching Method, Lectures, Question and Answer

Abstract

AbstractThe various cultural traditions inherent in the Madurese ethnic community in RW 008 became one of the factors driving the maintenance of mechanical solidarity between them, even the conflicts arising from the Carok culture were not enough to weaken the bonds between them. It is not easy to perpetuate solidarity in the life of a multiethnic society, especially the flow of modernization that is also felt by the community. Various efforts were made such as maintaining traditions, networks or social relations, and religious ties to maintain their solidarity. This research is included in the type of field research. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data are the RT head and Madurese ethnic in RW 008, Pal Lima Subdistrict, Pontianak Barat District. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing / verification. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peranan guru membina perilaku siswa bermasalah pada proses belajar mengajar sosiologi di kelas X.B SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi langsung, komunikasi langsung, dan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpulan data berupa panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dilakukan pada 11 orang siswa bermasalah dan seorang guru sosiologi menunjukkan bahwa peranan guru dalam membina perilaku siswa bermasalah belum sepenuhnya dilakukan dengan baik.Sebagaiteladan guru berpakaian rapi dan bersih, menggunakan bahasa santun, bekerja keras, dan masuk kelas tepat waktu. Sebagai motivator, guru tidak memberikan pujian kepada siswa yang berperilaku baik, hanya memberikan hukuman kepada siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran. Sebagai pengawas, guru memberikan nasehat dan hukuman mengandung efek jera kepada siswa yang melakukan pelanggaran. Kata Kunci: Peranan Guru, Perilaku Siswa Bermasalah Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the teacher's role in fostering a problematic student behavior in the process of learning and teaching sociology in class X.B SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. The method used is descriptive qualitative methods. With the data collection technique used is direct observation, direct communication, and the study of documentary. Datacollection tools used are observation guide, interviews guide, and documentation. Results of research done at 11 troubled students and a teacher of Sociology show that the role of the teacher in fostering student behavior problematic have not completely well done. As an example of the teachers dressed neat and clean, using the language of polite, hard working, and enter class on time. As a motivator, teacher dont give praise to the well-behaved students, just give punishment to students who commit violations. As supervisors, teachers give advice and punishment deterrent effect to students contains the violation.   Keyword: Teacher Role, Problematic Student Behavior

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor orang tua yang menjadi penyebab rendah motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI IPS di SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumenter dengan alat pengumpul data berupa panduan observasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Sumber data primer penelitian yaitu orang tua siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Santun Untan Pontianak dan data sekunder berupa dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang sibuk bekerja sehingga kurang memberikan perhatian dan waktu kepada anak dapat menyebabkan rendah motivasi belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa disekolah diindikasikan dengan tidak menyimak penjelasan guru, bermain HP pada saat jam pelajaran dan tidak mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru dan PR yang diberikan guru. Kata kunci : Perhatian Orang Tua, Waktu Orang Tua, Motivasi Belajar Abstrack: This study aims to to analyze factors parents cause of the low motivation to study on the subjects of sociology class XI social class in high school SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The approach that is used is a qualitative approach with the method of descriptive. Data technique collections used are observation , interviews and study documentary with a data insruments guide observation and interview and documentation. Research primary data sources the parents of class XI social class in SMA Sabntun Untan Pontianak and secondary data used documentation. The research results shows that parents who they are busy working so that they do not take interest and time to a child can cause the lack of motivation to study for students, which can be seen from the daily students at school as an explanation not find herself listening to teachers, play handphone and do not do their tasks and the homework the teacher had given. Abstract

Abstract The Teacher's Efforts to Improve Student Learning Motivation in the Sociology Learning Process of Class XI IPS 1 of Santo Fransiskus Asisi High School Pontianak". The purpose of the study was to describe (1) the efforts of teachers to increase intrinsic motivation in the process of learning sociology in class XI IPS 1 Santo Fransiskus Asisi High School Pontianak. (2) The teacher's efforts to increase extrinsic motivation in the process of learning sociology in class XI IPS 1 of Santo Fransiskus Asisi High School Pontianak. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Data collection tools use observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. The results of the study showed that (1) The efforts made by the teacher to increase the intrinsic motivation of students 'learning were paying attention to students' attitudes, giving motivation to students, maintaining the concentration of student learning, giving praise and recognition to successful students so that students had stronger self-confidence. (2) Efforts made by the teacher to improve extrinsic motivation of student learning, namely, the teacher guides and fosters students in learning, teachers utilize school facilities and infrastructure, teachers admonish and give advice to students who do not pay attention to learning activities and separate students' seats when chatting Teachers deliver learning material to create conducive social conditions for students in the classroom.Keywords: Teacher's Efforts, Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out about, " multicultural values in VII G grade student in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The problem is as follow : how is cultural awareness and sensitivity of VII G student in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak ? how is the cultural tolerance and how to reasponsive grade .The porpose of this study was to determine cultural awareness and sensitivity,cultural tolerance and cultural responsive in clas VII G student in Negeri 2 Pontianak.this research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach.informants obtained through direct observation,interviews, and documentation..data validations used is triangulation,data soursece and time. The result of this study indicate that 1) cultural awareness and sensitivity in students can be seen from students who know each other friends with  in their classroom also show sensitivity by helping each person so as to provide understanding to student about multicultural values. 2)cultural tolerance is seen from student who respect and respect each other especially in religious activities and can be seen from the way. 3)students cultural responsiveness can be seen from students accepting their peers in one class  Keywords: cultural, student, awareness,sensitivity,tolerance,responsive

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the social integration of multiethnic communities in a functional structural perspective in Durian Village, Sungai Ambawang District. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The source of this research data is obtained by observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the process of social integration of multiethnic communities occurred because of the existence of individual sociolinguistic abilities, ethnorelativism attitudes, mechanisms for problem solving, especially persuasively and the application of customary sanctions and the strength of local leadership. Meanwhile, the results of social integration are the creation of social stability because of the acculturation of local wisdom values and the development of a high sense of tolerance resulting in inter-ethnic cooperation and interdependence. Keywords: Social Integration, Multicultural Society, Structural Functional

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kerjasama, akomodasi dan persaingan antar siswa muslim dengan non muslim dikelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, alat pengumpulan data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interaksi sosial antar siswa muslim dan nonmuslim melalui kerja sama secara spontan, yang dilakukan tanpa perintah dari siapapun, kerjasama langsung, yaitu dilakukan siswa atas perintah oleh guru, siswa tidak membedakan antara muslim maupun nonmuslim. Akomodasi berupa toleransi, saling menghargai dan menghormati, kompromi saat siswa berdiskusi kelompok untuk mendapat hasil yang maksimal,sementara persaingan individu yaitu persaingan dalam mendapat keberhasilan dalam belajar,bersaing untuk mendapatkan prestasi, kemudian persaingan kelompok yaitu bersaing untuk menampilkan hasil presentasi terbaik dalam diskusi, hal ini berkaitan dengan kegiatan belajar dikelas dan diluar kelas. Kata Kunci :Interaksi Sosial, Siswa Muslim, Non Muslim Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the cooperation, accommodation and competition among Muslims non-Muslim students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Nanga Taman.The Research methodology which is used are observation technique, interview and documentation study. The tools of data collecting are observation, interview and documentation. The results showed social interaction between the Muslim and non- Muslim students through spontaneous cooperation, undertaken without orders from anyone and direct cooperation, which is done by students in teacher's order, students do not differentiate between Muslims and non-Muslims. Accommodation in the form of tolerance, mutual respect and respect, compromise when students discuss the group to get the maximum results, while the individual competition is the competition in gaining success in learning, competing to earn achievements, then the competition groups that compete for presenting the best presentation in the discussions, case this relates to learning activities in class and outside of class.
