Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization, community partnerships, and financial management transparency on the quality of school management. This study employed a quantitative, explanatory survey design. The sample consisted of 123 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of independent variables. The results showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, accounting for 78.1% of the quality of school management, with ICT utilization as the most dominant factor. This study contributes by offering an integrated, digital, collaborative, and accountable governance model to improve the quality of school management. This study suggests that implementing an integrated, digital, collaborative, and accountable governance model can improve the overall effectiveness of school management. Schools are advised to maximize the use of ICT, strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, and establish transparent accountability systems to support faster, better decision-making.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an integrated e-Budgeting and e-Reporting system for managing BOS funds at schools. The study's background highlights the persistent challenges in manual management of BOS funds, including reporting delays, data inconsistencies, and administrative errors. These inefficiencies emphasize the need for a digital solution that integrates budgeting, reporting, and monitoring functions. The research method employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, using needs analysis, system design, prototype development, expert validation, and limited field testing. The results indicate that the system achieved a feasibility score of 3.52/4 (88.8%), categorized as highly feasible with minor revisions. Limited field testing yielded an average score of 3.68/4, with reporting time efficiency improving by approximately 40% and administrative errors reduced through automated validation features. The developed system effectively integrates budgeting and reporting processes into a single platform, enhancing data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency. This study contributes to the field of digital financial governance in education and provides practical insights for implementing integrated digital systems in resource-constrained schools. Future research could explore the system’s long-term impacts and scalability across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals’ transformational leadership and the effectiveness of learning communities on elementary school teachers’ professional competence. The background is that teachers’ professional competence is not yet optimal; it is still at a basic level. The role of the principal learning leader and the effectiveness of learning community activities are not yet evident. The research used a quantitative, correlational design. The population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Tanggungharjo District, and a sample of 137 respondents was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that the principal’s transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ professional competence, with a regression coefficient of 0.710. The effectiveness of the learning community has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ professional competence, with a regression coefficient of 0.435. Transformational leadership and learning community effectiveness had a significant effect on teachers’ professional competence, with a contribution (R Square) 60.2%. An inspiring leadership style and the optimization of the learning community are key factors in improving teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This literature review examines the application of data-driven decision making (DDDM) for school improvement within the specific context of Indonesia. It examines the theoretical foundations, empirical evidence, and practical considerations related to implementing DDDM in educational settings. The review synthesizes research from various sources, including journal articles, book chapters, and proceedings published within the last 15 years, to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge. The analysis focuses on key themes, including the role of leadership, the importance of data literacy, the impact of technology, and the cultural considerations relevant to the Indonesian educational landscape. The aim is to identify best practices, highlight gaps in the existing literature, and suggest directions for future research aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of DDDM in improving educational outcomes in Indonesia.
