Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang perkumpulan orang tua siswa tiap jenjang kelas dalam bentuk paguyuban kelas di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana proses pelaksanaan paguyuban kelas di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar, dan Apa kontribusi Paguyuban Kelas di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Proses pelaksanaan paguyuban kelas di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar. (2) Kontribusi apa saja yang diperoleh oleh sekolah dengan adanya kegiatan paguyuban kelas di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar.Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriftif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Kompleks IKIP Makassar Kecamatan Rappocini Makassar. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas tingkat rendah (kelas II), wali kelas tingkat tinggi (kelas VI), orang tua siswa, pengurus paguyuban. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan reduksi data, paparan data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data.Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa(1) Tahap pembentukan, paguyuban kelas terbentuk di tahun 2006 atas dasar kompleksitas kebutuhan sekolah dan orang tua siswa, (2) struktur dan program kerja paguyuban kelas merupakan perpanjangan tangan dan dinaungi oleh komite sekolah di tiap jenjang kelas, (3) Kendala paguyuban kelas yaitu misskomunikasi dan kesibukan masing-masing orang tua siswa, (4) tantangan paguyuban kelas yaitu bagaimana agar memiliki dasar hukum dan tidak dikategorikan pungli. (5) kontribusi paguyuban kelas secara khusus dilihat dari hasil pelaksanaan program kerja tiap kelas dan secara umum memberikan banyak manfaat bagi sekolah, terutama siswa dan orang tua siswa.

Abstract

The implementation of tracer studies is a strategic instrument in ensuring the quality of vocational education. However, the reality on the ground shows that many institutions, including SMKN 3 Gowa, still face serious obstacles such as low alumni participation, difficulty accessing graduate contact data, and the suboptimal use of tracer study results as a basis for curriculum evaluation. This study aims to describe how tracer studies are managed at SMKN 3 Gowa and identify the inhibiting factors that affect their effectiveness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved the principal, the head of the Special Job Fair (BKK), and alumni as primary data sources through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. While secondary data were obtained from school documents and the treservokasi.kemendikbud.go.id application. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that tracer study management at SMKN 3 Gowa has been carried out in a structured manner with the support of digital technology, but is still hampered by limited human resources, low alumni participation, and minimal use of data as a basis for strategic policies. This study concludes that although there is a strong commitment to implementing tracer studies, optimizing tracer study management at SMKN 3 Gowa requires strengthening communication strategies, updating alumni databases, and increasing human resource capacity so that it can function optimally as an instrument for evaluating the quality of vocational education.

Abstract

Parental involvement in school activities is a strategic element in building synergy between schools and families to support holistic child growth and development, especially in an integrated Islamic school environment that integrates academic and spiritual values. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of community involvement, especially parental involvement, in school activities at Al-Fatih Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Makassar. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, which were analyzed thematically with the help of software. The results of the study identified two main forms of parental involvement: internal activities, such as Parent Meetings, report card receptions, and the Ramadan Festival, which demonstrate direct and intensive interaction between the school and parents; and external activities, such as Al-Fatih Quran Family and Matapena, which demonstrate the school's efforts to expand the role of parents in supporting character formation and strengthening religious values outside the school environment. These findings indicate that parental involvement at Al-Fatih Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Makassar, is not only administrative, but also substantive and structured, in line with the principles of integrated Islamic education. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions in enriching the discourse on school and parent partnerships, and offers a model of parent involvement that can be adopted by other integrated Islamic schools to improve the quality of education comprehensively.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the education sector has become a necessity in the modern era, especially in supporting the improvement of performance and accountability of educators through the application of information technology. The e-Performance system is present as an important innovation to record, monitor, and evaluate teacher performance more objectively, transparently, and in real-time, but its implementation still faces various challenges in various regions, including in the Vocational High School (SMK) environment which has a higher complexity of tasks compared to public schools. This study aims to identify and analyze the process of using the e-Performance system by teachers at SMKN 3 Gowa, with a focus on teachers' understanding of the system, filling in Employee Performance Targets (SKP) electronically, and implementing digital-based monitoring and evaluation. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, which allowed researchers to explore experiences, perceptions, and dynamics that occur in field practice in depth, through data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers as key informants. The results of the study showed significant variations in the level of teacher understanding of the e-Performance system, where some teachers, especially younger ones, were able to operate the application relatively smoothly, while others, especially older teachers or those with low digital literacy, experienced difficulties in accessing and utilizing important features in the system. Filling out the SKP electronically was identified as a fairly complex process, with many teachers admitting confusion in setting performance targets according to indicators and experiencing technical obstacles that impacted the validity of the input data. In addition, monitoring and evaluation of teacher performance through the e-Performance system at SMKN 3 Gowa has not been optimally utilized due to limited time for school management, technical obstacles such as unstable internet connections, and a low digital data-based work culture within the school environment. These findings confirm that although the e-Performance system has been implemented, its effectiveness in supporting teacher performance management still requires more structured interventions, both in terms of improving teachers' digital competencies, refining the system's technical features, and formulating evidence-based monitoring policies. The contribution of this research lies in enriching the literature related to the implementation of technology-based performance management in vocational schools, especially in the relatively underexplored Eastern Indonesia region, as well as providing practical recommendations for policymakers and schools in formulating strategies to optimize the e-Performance system so that it truly functions as an instrument for improving professionalism and the quality of educational services.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate of university graduates in Indonesia reflects the mismatch between the results of higher education and the demands of the world of work, thus encouraging the government to launch the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy as an effort to bridge the competency gap of graduates. This research aims to find out the description of the MBKM Internship Program, the work readiness of students in the Department of Education Administration of Makassar State University, as well as test the influence of the program on the work readiness of students. Using a quantitative approach with ex-post facto design and correlational strategies, this study involved 87 college students as saturated samples, with data collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed descriptively and inferentially using simple linear regression. The research results show that the MBKM Internship Program has a significant effect on student work readiness, with a substantive contribution in improving technical skills, communication skills, problem-solving, analytical, professional ethics, and teamwork skills. This finding confirms the relevance of experiential learning as an effective approach in improving students' employability skills, as well as enriching the literature regarding the implementation of MBKM in the field of Education Administration which has been rarely researched. This research provides an important contribution to the development of higher education policies, the design of internship programs that are more integrated with the curriculum, and as a reference for the industry in preparing a more competent and adaptive workforce to face the dynamics of the job market. Abstract

This study examines how Employe Performance Improvement Management Based on E-Performance at the Education and Culture Office of Takalar Regency. The main focus is on the Management of Employe Performance Improvement and the identification of supporting and hindering factors that emerge. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected thru interviews, observations, and documentation from the head of the department and employes. The validity of the data was examined using triangulation techniques. The research results show that: 1) The planning process, the preparation of SKP, and the action plan are carried out based on the supervisor's instructions. Thus, it is capable of improving employe performance, particularly in terms of discipline and clarity of work. 2) The actuating process shows a structured process, therefore, the E-Kinerja system significantly impacts the improvement of employe performance, especially in aspects of responsibility and task execution quality. 3) The controlling process indicates that structured assessment, feedback provision, and follow-up support employe performance improvement. However, there are technical obstacles such as slow system access when used simultaneously. Overall, this E-Kinerja operates as intended, thereby encouraging the improvement of employe performance, although further enhancements and training in the use of E-Kinerja are still needed for optimal results.

Abstract

The improvement of thesis supervision service quality in higher education is a crucial aspect in supporting the smooth progression of studies and the academic success of students. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of the quality of thesis supervision services at the Faculty of Education, , focusing on five SERVQUAL dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness , Assurance, and Empathy. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire based on a 10-point semantic differential scale, consisting of 34 statement items, and was distributed online to 327 students. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through frequency and percentage distribution. The findings indicate that, in general, students’ perceptions fall into the “very good” category across most service dimensions. The Tangibles dimension was rated as very good, reflecting the availability of adequate supervision rooms, comprehensive thesis guidelines, and the effective use of digital communication media. The Reliability dimension also received a very good evaluation, indicating the consistency and accuracy of supervisors in performing their supervisory duties. The Responsiveness dimension was rated as good, suggesting that supervisors were reasonably responsive in providing feedback and allocating time for students. The Assurance dimension received the highest score within the very good category, demonstrating students’ strong trust in their supervisors’ competence, integrity, and professionalism. Meanwhile, the Empathy dimension was also rated as very good, reflecting the care, concern, and ability of supervisors to understand students’ individual conditions. Overall, the results indicate that the thesis supervision services have met students’ expectations, although some aspects, particularly within the Responsiveness dimension, still require improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kinerja dewan pendidikan di dinas pendidikan kabupaten jeneponto. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pelaksanaan Kinerja dan mengetahui faktor pendukun serta penghambat Dewan Pendidikan di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Jeneponto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kinerja Dewan Pendidikan di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Jeneponto berjalan dengan efektif dan komprehensif dalam tiga aspek utama: pengambilan keputusan dalam hal ini keputusan yang diambil tidak hanya didasarkan pada intuisi atau persepsi, tetapi lebih pada bukti konkret dari data yang dihimpun. Dalam memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan kepada Dinas Pendidikan, Dewan menggunakan laporan tertulis, rapat koordinasi, dan forum konsultatif untuk memastikan bahwa setiap masukan yang diberikan telah melalui proses analisis yang mendalam. Pendekatan berbasis data ini memungkinkan kebijakan pendidikan yang dihasilkan lebih relevan dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat setempat. Selanjutnya, pelaksanaan program yang menunjukkan keterlibatan yang nyata. Mereka tidak hanya berperan dalam perumusan kebijakan, tetapi juga memastikan kebijakan tersebut dapat dipahami dan diterapkan dengan baik di lapangan. Dalam pengangkatan dan rotasi guru serta kepala sekolah, Dewan memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan prestasi kerja, kompetensi, dan pengalaman kandidat, dengan tujuan memastikan bahwa setiap individu yang dipilih memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Peran Kepemimpinan Guru dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa di SMK Laniang Makassar meliputi menjadi sosok teladan, mengarahkan siswa, memotivasi siswa, menginspirasi siswa, menegosiasi siswa, dan melaksanakan perubahan-perubahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepemimpinan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah  guru, wakil kepala sekolah, dan siswa di SMK Laniang Makassar dengan jumlah guru sebanyak 4 orang, wakil kepala sekolah 1 orang, dan siswa 1 orang. Teknik Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Dalam memeriksa keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dapat dikatakan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan guru yang mampu menjadi sosok teladan, mampu mengarahkan siswa pada proses pembelajaran, memotivasi siswa, membantu siswa memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa, menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi-teknologi canggih sesuai dengan perubahan dan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This study describes the description of digital literacy of SMKN teacher learning in Wajo Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type to explain the condition of the description of digital literacy of teacher learning. The population in this study was 269 teachers with sampling using simple random sampling so that a sample of 161 was obtained. The data collection techniques used were surveys and documentation. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis. In this study, digital literacy of teacher learning consists of finding digital content, creating digital content, using digital content and communicating digital content. The results of the study showed that digital literacy of teacher learning was in the high category, this can be seen from several dimensions that were measured. First, the teacher's ability to find digital content is in the very high category which shows the teacher's excellent skills in finding and accessing relevant digital information. Second, the teacher's ability to create digital content is in the high category which means that the teacher is able to create digital materials quite creatively and effectively. Furthermore, the teacher's ability to use digital content is also in the high category which shows that the teacher actively uses digital materials to support the learning process. Finally, the teacher's ability to communicate digital content is also in the high category, meaning that the teacher is able to convey digital material to students clearly and well. Thus, teachers have good digital literacy skills to support the learning process. They are not only able to find and use various digital content, but also can create and communicate learning materials effectively.
