Abstract

Student competence in developing assessment instruments is crucial for ensuring the quality of learning evaluation. This research aims to determine the effect of project-based learning e-modules on student competence in developing science process skills instruments. This study employed a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on students' initial abilities, resulting in 54 students divided into two groups. Data collection instruments included the development of one basic and integrated SPS question by students for each indicator. The research data were analyzed using a t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results demonstrated a significant positive effect of the PjBL e-module on student competence in developing SPS instruments, with the experimental group's average competence being 77.36, which was higher than the control group's average of 62.41. This research is expected to improve the competence of prospective science teachers in developing valid and effective assessment instruments, thereby addressing obstacles such as a lack of understanding of SPS, difficulties in constructing complex questions, and challenges in creating effective distractors

Abstract

Kelong Arjam yang terletak di Patam Lestari, Kota Batam merupakan restoran yang menyajikan seafood, salah satunya adalah menu ikan. Akibatnya terdapat banyak limbah tulang ikan yang dibuang setiap harinya dan tidak dimanfaatkan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memberikan knowledge transfer kepada mitra agar mengetahui kandungan gizi dari tulang ikan dan mampu melakukan pengelolaan limbah tulang ikan menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai tambah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan, yakni tahap pengenalan dan sosialisasi. Pada tahap awal, tim pengabdi memberikan edukasi kepada pengelola restoran Kelong Arjam mengenai kandungan mineral, kalsium dan zat-zat tinggi gizi lainnya yang terkandung dalam ikan. Selanjutnya kegiatan berupa sosialisasi mengenai teknik pengolahan limbah tulang ikan menjadi bahan baku untuk pembuatan kerupuk. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari owner dan karyawan restoran, yang berjumlah 6 orang. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian, diketahui memberikan hasil positif yakni adanya peningkatan pengetahuan oleh mitra terkait kandungan gizi ikan dan teknik pengelolaan limbah ikan menjadi bahan baku kerupuk. Hal ini berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan tim pengabdi sebelum dan setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan. Adapun temuan yang didapatkan yaitu adanya faktor-faktor penghambat yang dihadapi mitra di lapangan dalam proses pengolahan tulang ikan. Beberapa diantaranya adalah mitra perlu mengalokasikan tenaga kerja tambahan, tidak seimbangnya waktu proses pengolahan dengan jumlah tulang ikan yang ada, dan waktu pengolahan yang dilakukan di malam hari. Kendala-kendala tersebut memerlukan adanya perbaikan lanjutan oleh tim pengabdi dan memberikan solusi yang lebih efektif bagi mitra.

Abstract

Identity confusion is very vulnerable among teenagers. The inability of adolescents to resolve conflicts has an impact on confusion about their goals, talents, and abilities in determining their future careers. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of friendship and students' vocational identity. The respondents were 171 students at SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba class XII which was obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires using a friendship quality scale and a vocational identity scale. The results of Pearson product moment correlation analysis showed the value of the correlation coefficient between the quality of friendship and the achievement identity status, which was r = 0.256 and p = 0.002 (significant). This means that there is a positive correlation between the quality of friendship and vocational identity in the status of achievement and not correlated with the status of moratorium, foreclosure, and diffusion identity. So, the better the quality of the friendship you have, the more your achievement identity will also increase. The implication of this study is necessary to make efforts to maintain the quality of friendships so that they continue to contribute positively in exploring careers and forming commitments to students in various alternative vocational fields.

Abstract

Literasi kesehatan masyarakat menjadi komponen penting dalam menghadapi meningkatnya arus informasi digital, termasuk misinformasi yang berpotensi memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan terkait kesehatan. Mobilitas masyarakat usia produktif yang tinggi serta keterbatasan kemampuan dalam memilih sumber informasi terpercaya semakin memperbesar risiko penyebaran persepsi salah dan perilaku kesehatan yang tidak tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan masyarakat melalui pendekatan edukasi hybrid, yaitu kombinasi metode digital dan luring. Metode kegiatan meliputi ceramah interaktif, penyebaran konten edukasi berupa infografis dan video singkat, serta sesi diskusi untuk mengklarifikasi isu-isu kesehatan aktual. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dalam mengenali ciri hoaks kesehatan, memverifikasi kredibilitas sumber, serta mengidentifikasi perilaku preventif yang benar. Antusiasme peserta dalam sesi diskusi mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan luring masih dibutuhkan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan pemahaman yang tidak dapat dijelaskan melalui materi digital. Di sisi lain, konten digital yang disebarkan kembali oleh peserta menunjukkan adanya efek multiplier yang memperluas jangkauan edukasi. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan edukasi hybrid terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan ketahanan informasi masyarakat. Program lanjutan dalam bentuk pembaruan materi dan pelatihan kader disarankan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan perubahan perilaku.

Abstract

Abstrak – Permasalahan lingkungan akibat peningkatan volume limbah rumah tangga dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap produk ramah lingkungan menjadi tantangan utama di wilayah perkotaan, termasuk di Kelurahan Parang Tambung Kota Makassar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan remaja masjid dalam mengenal green product serta mengelola limbah rumah tangga berdasarkan prinsip Reduce, Reuse, dan Recycle (3R). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan survei awal, sosialisasi konsep produk hijau, pelatihan praktis pengelolaan limbah, pendampingan, serta evaluasi keberhasilan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta hingga 92% berdasarkan uji post-test, serta terbentuknya kelompok remaja Green-Masjid sebagai tindak lanjut. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif dalam membangun kesadaran ekologis, memperkuat peran remaja masjid sebagai agen perubahan sosial dan lingkungan, serta mendukung gerakan Green-Masjid di tingkat lokal. Program serupa direkomendasikan untuk diperluas ke wilayah lain guna memperkuat partisipasi generasi muda dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: green product, 3R, remaja masjid, kesadaran lingkungan

Abstract

This study investigates chemistry students’ perceptions of Interactive Learning Materials (ILMs) developed using a differentiated instruction approach. The research employed a mixed-methods design involving 62 undergraduate students in the Chemistry Education Program, Universitas Negeri Makasar, Indonesia, who completed a perception questionnaire and a validated online learning-style assessment. Descriptive analysis revealed that students’ overall perceptions of the ILMs were highly positive across six dimensions: preliminary experience, relevance, conceptual comprehension, differentiation, motivation, and effectiveness. In addition, a Kruskal–Wallis inferential test was conducted on a subset of 46 valid respondents to examine whether perception scores differed significantly across learning-style groups. The results indicated no statistically significant differences among the seven learning-style categories (H (6, 46) = 4.72, p = .58), suggesting that the ILMs were perceived positively and consistently across all groups. Qualitative responses further supported these findings, highlighting that kinesthetic learners valued interactive features but desired richer hands-on engagement. Overall, the study confirms that ILMs with differentiated pathways can effectively support diverse learners in mastering abstract chemistry concepts, while emphasizing the need for future development to integrate more kinesthetic and exploratory elements.   Keywords: interactive learning materials, differentiated instruction, learning styles, chemistry education, student perceptions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman nilai-nilai dasar Islam pada anak usia 5–6 tahun, proses penanamannya, serta faktor pendukung, penghambat, dan strategi sekolah dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut di TKIT Mutiara Islam Wahdah Islamiyah Palopo. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman nilai dasar Islam anak berkembang baik, terlihat dari kemampuan berdoa, melaksanakan ibadah sederhana, mengenal sifat Allah Swt., serta berperilaku sopan dan peduli. Penanaman nilai dilakukan secara bertahap dan konsisten melalui interaksi hangat, tanya jawab, bermain, serta penggunaan media Islami yang menarik. Hambatan berasal dari lingkungan rumah, teman sebaya, dan karakter anak, sementara strategi sekolah untuk mengatasinya meliputi penguatan positif, motivasi, serta pembelajaran kreatif dan menyenangkan, sehingga membantu anak menginternalisasi nilai Islam secara optimal

Abstract

Chemistry learning often faces challenges in the form of misconceptions, especially in buffer solution material, which is abstract because it involves the concepts of chemical equilibrium and acid-base properties. This study aims to produce information about the use of diagnostic tests with the Interview-About-Event method in exploring students' mental models on buffer solution material. The research method used was descriptive qualitative on 9 grade XII students at a high school in Makassar City using in-depth interviews that asked students to explain the phenomena given. Data collection was carried out using research instruments in the form of a diagnostic test and semi-structured interviews. The answers of each student were mapped to obtain a profile of their mental models. The results showed that the studChemistry learning often presents challenges in the form of misconceptions, particularly concerning buffer solutions. Their mental models tended to be simple, incomplete, and macroscopic, characterized by misconceptions such as considering equilibrium shifts to be separate from the direct reactions of buffer components, misunderstandings in using arrows for partial and complete ionization, incorrect definitions of acids, and misconceptions about buffer solutions neutralizing pH or causing pH changes. The diversity and consistency of these misconceptions underscore the importance of a pedagogical approach focused on deep conceptual understanding and the integration of multiple levels of chemical representationents' mental models revealed diversity in their answers, especially at the submicroscopic level. Abstract

Efisiensi operasional dan optimalisasi penjadwalan produksi merupakan faktor penentu bagi daya saing dalam lingkup industri manufaktur dan fabrikasi modern. Perusahaan dituntut untuk mampu merancang sistem yang menjamin produk berkualitas tinggi sekaligus dapat diselesaikan dalam jangka waktu yang optimal. Penjadwalan produksi yang tidak efisien akan berimplikasi langsung pada peningkatan biaya overhead dan risiko keterlambatan pengiriman, sehingga menyebabkan kerugian finansial serta penurunan kepercayaan konsumen. Penelitian ini secara spesifik menganalisis permasalahan inefisiensi waktu pada proyek fabrikasi produk JN 123 di PT AAA. Produk utama yang menjadi objek studi adalah pressure vessel (bejana tekan) yang proses fabrikasinya menuntut presisi dan waktu pengerjaan yang lama. Diketahui bahwa jadwal pengerjaan produk JN 123 ini memerlukan durasi yang panjang, yaitu 232 hari kerja. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi perencanaan jadwal tersebut dan merumuskan penjadwalan baru yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Jalur Kritis (Critical Path Method), karena mampu mengidentifikasi lintasan kritis dan menentukan durasi minimum penyelesaian proyek. Metode ini diterapkan pada analisis jaringan kerja proyek untuk mengidentifikasi lintasan kritis yang terdiri dari 14 aktivitas krusial (A-B-C-E-F-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X). Hasil dari optimalisasi waktu menunjukkan bahwa durasi tercepat yang dapat dicapai adalah 381 jam atau setara 40.7 hari kerja. Hasil tersebut memberikan efisiensi waktu sebesar 82.4% dari jadwal awal perusahaan. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah rekomendasi untuk menggunakan jadwal optimal dengan metode jalur kritis sebagai standar operasional baru, guna meningkatkan laju produksi, menekan biaya, dan menjamin ketepatan waktu pengiriman produk.

Abstract

Mareje Village is located in Lembar District, West Lombok Regency. It is known for its natural beauty, encompassing several tourist attractions, and for its distinctive character, surrounded by vast expanses of rice fields. Despite its immense potential, the village faces challenges in developing a culture of reading and literacy among its residents. To address this challenge, the Community Service Program (KKN-PMD) aims to increase reading and literacy among the Mareje community through various approaches and innovations. The KKN-PMD program emphasizes building a strong literacy foundation, contributing to human resource development and improving the community’s quality of life. Through the development of a community-based library, the provision of quality reading materials, and literacy training, it is hoped that the Mareje community will have good access to information and knowledge. This activity is also expected to encourage a high level of reading interest among various groups, strengthen literacy skills, and create an environment that supports continuous learning. The KKN-PMD program will be implemented for seven weeks, starting from July 8 to August 21, 2025, with the involvement of students and library management as the main facilitators, as well as active participation from the Mareje Village community in every activity with a total of 288 effective student working hours (JKEM). Overall, this KKN-PMD work program not only aims to increase the love of reading in Mareje Village, but also to create collective awareness of the importance of literacy in building a smarter and more competitive community. With collaboration between students and the community, Mareje Village can become a successful example in developing a sustainable reading culture.
