Abstract

Regional development aims to increase regional economic growth, reduce regional disparities and increase regional competitiveness. The agricultural sector is a sector that has an important role in the regional economy. In an effort to accelerate regional development growth, further analysis of the development of the agricultural sector is needed. The objectives of this research are 1) to analyze the development of the agricultural sector in Pasaman Regency, 2) to analyze the pattern and structure of the agricultural sector in Pasaman Regency. The analysis method used is the Entropy Diversity Index (IDE) and Klassen Typology. The results of the analysis are that the agricultural sector in Pasaman Regency is not developing because it has an IDE value < 1, rice, corn, banana and rambutan are included in the leading commodities (quadrant I), durian and palm oil are included in the potential sector (quadrant II), salak, rubber , cocoa, areca nut and coconut are included as commodities. developing (quadrant III), cassava, sweet potatoes, peanuts and oranges are among the underdeveloped sectors (quadrant IV).

Abstract

The rule of law is one of the principles of the Republic of Indonesia and is regulated in the 1945 Constitution. As the principle states that Equality Before The Law is a form of legal guarantee and provides certainty that everyone is equal before the law without any discrimination, besides that there is also the right to recognition and protection. Based on the principle and the right to protection, the Advocate profession is one of the professions that can be relied on. The role and function of an Advocate who is free, independent and responsible provides a glimmer of hope that the guarantee of certainty and justice will be fulfilled for people who really need legal assistance. The existence of Advocates also plays a role in the scope of justice which also has an important aspect, legal aid services from Advocates open up wide opportunities for the thirst for legal knowledge for the community. Therefore, as Officum Nobile or an honorable profession, Advocates must be truly reliable by the community.

Abstract

Legal realism is a school that does not agree with the existence of precedents (the existence of ties between a judge's decision and previous judge's decisions in dealing with similar issues). And understanding legal realism views the law as an advocate views the law. For an advocate, the most important thing in looking at the law is how to predict the outcome of a legal process and what the future holds for these legal rules. The school of legal realism actually hopes for the role of judges in realizing justice, so that in certain cases judges do not always adhere to the provisions contained in legislation only (rule-responsive), they also need to look at the situation that actually occurs in practice (fact-responsive). In this case, it seems that the judge took into account the existence of legal realism by assessing the facts that prompted Fidelis to commit a crime (possessing 39 marijuana stalks) for the treatment of his wife, so the judge imposed a sentence on Fidelis that was far from the minimum threat. And criticism of the school of legal realism was also raised regarding matters relating to its views on the judicial process. In this case, criticism is raised against the Normative statement and the concept of "logic", whereas the realist emphasis is only on difficult cases. Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century necessitates an educational approach that fosters students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual mastery skills, particularly in complex topics such as colloids. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of applying a STEM-based guided inquiry approach in colloid practicums on improving students' conceptual mastery. The research design used was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group study involving 34 second-semester students in the Chemistry Education Program at UIN Ar-Raniry. The research instruments consisted of a two-level multiple-choice concept mastery test and a STEM learning effectiveness questionnaire. The study was conducted over six weeks through several colloid laboratory sessions. Statistical analysis using ANCOVA (p < 0.005) showed a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental and control groups. The high effect size (Cohen's d = 0.8) indicates that this approach has a significant impact on student learning outcomes, particularly in developing higher-order thinking skills at levels C4 to C6. This study indicates that integrating a contextual, student-centered STEM-based learning model into chemistry laboratory sessions can enhance conceptual understanding and 21st-century skills. However, limitations such as a small sample size, research location restricted to a single institution, and relatively short treatment duration should be considered when generalizing the study's findings. Further research with a longitudinal design and a broader sample scope is highly recommended.

Abstract

A This research is motivated by the low learning activity of class V students at SDN 120/1 Simpang Jelutih. Student learning activity in learning is less visible, learning communication occurs in one direction, and learning stages only refer to what is in the learning book. This research is a Classroom Action Research that aims to describe the increase in student learning activity through cooperative learning of the index card match type in mathematics learning in class V of SDN 120/1 Simpang Jelutih. This research was conducted at SDN 120/1 Simpang Jelutih in September-October 2024. Research data were obtained by observation and documentation. Research data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings with the following stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of the study show that implementing cooperative learning of the index card match type in the learning process can increase student learning activity. This increase can be seen in the data analysis of each meeting cycle. Cycle I meeting I achieved a success of 53.12%, cycle I meeting II achieved a success of 62.5%, cycle II meeting I achieved a success of 68.75%, in cycle II meeting II achieved a success of 78.12% which increased by 9.38%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the index card match type cooperative learning model can increase student learning activity in mathematics learning in grade V of Elementary School. Proven by the success of this study. Student learning activity can be increased by using the index card match type cooperative learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the assessment practices and efforts to develop students' critical thinking skills at SDN 76/1 Sungai Buluh. Based on an interview with the fifth-grade homeroom teacher, it was revealed that critical thinking is assessed through the observation of students’ responses during classroom activities, without the use of specific tasks or assessment instruments. The teacher believes that critical thinking can be nurtured through various learning activities, including discussions and problem-solving. Despite noticeable differences in the development of critical thinking between active and passive students, the teacher provides individualized support and positive feedback to assist those who struggle. The observed indicators of critical thinking include the ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret information. As an alternative learning strategy, the Team Quiz model is introduced as a collaborative approach that promotes active student involvement in constructing and answering inter-group quizzes. This model is considered to be a promising method for increasing student engagement and enhancing critical thinking skills in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Smartbox learning media on students' Mathematics learning outcomes on fraction material in class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi- experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely class V-B consisting of 20 students as experimental class 1 and class V-A consisting of 20 students as experimental class 2. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation. The instruments in this study used tests in the form of pretests and posttests that had gone through a series of tests, namely validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests, discriminatory power tests and question distractors to ensure the quality of the questions. The data analysis technique was carried out through several stages, namely, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the analysis showed that the average posttest score of experimental class 1 was 84.3 with a learning completion of 95%, while experimental class 2 had an average of 78.3 with a completion of 80%. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the Independent Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.043 <0.05, with the acquisition of t-count (2.091)> t-table (2.024) so that it states that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of Smartbox learning media on learning outcomes in fraction material in class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan Aplikasi Kahoot dalam mempengaruhi keterlibatan belajar peserta didik di SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 1 orang guru kelas V dan 18 peserta didik, sehingga total responden berjumlah 19 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dengan 25 butir pernyataan yang mencakup tiga indikator, yaitu persepsi kebermanfaatan (perceived usefulness), persepsi kemudahan penggunaan (perceived ease of use), dan persepsi kepuasan pengguna (perceived user satisfaction). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi responden terhadap penggunaan Aplikasi Kahoot berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata persentase keseluruhan sebesar 89,14%. Secara rinci, indikator kebermanfaatan memperoleh rata-rata 89,63%, indikator kemudahan penggunaan sebesar 88,33%, dan indikator kepuasan pengguna sebesar 89,46%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Kahoot dianggap bermanfaat, mudah digunakan, dan memberikan kepuasan dalam mendukung keterlibatan belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah Aplikasi Kahoot dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran interaktif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar siswa, membantu guru dalam melaksanakan asesmen, serta mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi digital di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 harus relevan dengan tuntutan serta tantangan hidup yang nyata, seperti mengembangkan keterampilan kerja sama, memecahkan masalah, kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan menguasai diri dan teknologi, serta kemampuan dalam mengolah informasi serta berkomunikasi dengan efektif. Namun, pembelajaran yang dilakukan saat ini kurang inovatif berdampak terhadap minat belajar rendah serta belum bisa membuat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sesudah adanya penerapan pembelajaran dengan STEAM. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas 3 SDN 198/I Pasar Baru. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus, satu siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mengalami peningkatan tiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I minat belajar 78,03% kategori baik dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,30% kategori baik. Sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siklus I 59,13% kategori cukup kritis dan meningkat di siklus II menjadi 79,9% kategori kritis. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan pembelajaran STEAM bisa meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

School action research is one of the studies conducted by school principals which aims to improve and improve the quality of education in the schools they lead. The main objective of this research was to improve teachers’ performance and education quality at SDN 16 Rupat. This research was conducted at SDN 16 Rupat, involving teachers as the research subjects. The results of this study were the principal's leadership had a significant influence on teachers’ performance and the education quality. It implied that the principal's leadership had been successfully implemented. The data from the observation analysis of teachers’ performance in the learning process obtained that the percentage for the discipline item was 87% while the percentage for the work performance item was 80.2%. Then, the percentage of the item was 75.4%, and it was 77.2% for the obedience to the rules. Next, the percentage for the responsibility item was 70.2%. It was seen that the overall average increased in teachers’ performance by 77.9%. Thus, it could be concluded that the principal's leadership effectively improved teachers’ performance and the education quality at SDN 16 Rupat.
