Abstract

Background: According to the results of the initial study at RW 15 Sukamentri Village, it was revealed that there was a lack of knowledge of adolescents related to sexually transmitted infections and drugs and was supported by the explanation of local cadres that reproductive health counseling activities for adolescents had never been held in the area. Based on this background, a nursing problem was found, namely a knowledge deficit in adolescents. Objective: To describe changes in knowledge of adolescents in RW 15 about sexually transmitted infections, drugs and the dangers of smoking. Methods: This study using descriptive methods approaches the nursing process with quantitative research design. Results: The average pre-test and post-test scores of respondents indicate an increase of 2.92 in the post-test results after receiving education. Conclusion: There is an increase in adolescent knowledge before and after health education about STIs, drugs and the dangers of smoking. Suggestion: Education programs for adolescents on STIs, drugs, and smoking could be a sustainable program in the community.

Abstract

Violence against children continues to increase in many parts of the world, including Indonesia. School-aged children are particularly vulnerable to violence. Mothers have an important role as the primary caregiver closest to the child and the first person who can detect changes in behavior or emotions in children and signs of child abuse. This service activity aims to increase the role of mothers in preventing violence in school-age children by increasing mothers' knowledge of violence prevention. The community service activity was carried out on 4 December 2024, involving 35 mothers with school-age children, who were given education, pre-test, and post-test questionnaires. The pre-test and post-test results showed an increase in knowledge related to violence prevention in education participants. Before the education was given, there were 11 people (31.4%) who had good knowledge about preventing violence in children. In comparison, after the education was given, there were 17 people (48.6%) who had good knowledge about preventing violence in children. Providing education can improve mothers' knowledge of preventing violence in school-age children. There is a need for continuous education on child abuse so that mothers can detect early signs of child abuse as an effort to prevent violence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of financial literacy in increasing customer satisfaction with Islamic bank marketing strategies in the digital era. The development of digital technology has changed the landscape of the banking industry, including the implementation of digital service-based marketing strategies. Financial literacy is an important factor in helping customers understand banking products and services, especially in the context of compliance with sharia principles. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method through the SmartPLS application. The research sample consisted of 174 respondents who are users of Islamic bank digital services in Indonesia. The results showed that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction but has no direct effect on perceptions of digital marketing strategies. In addition, customer satisfaction is proven to fully mediate the relationship between financial literacy and perceptions of digital marketing strategies of Islamic banks.

Abstract

Panti Asuhan merupakan tempat pemeliharaan bagi anak dan bayi yang sengaja diserahkan dikarenakan orang tua mengalami kesulitan ekonomi atau bahkan tanpa orang tua. Yayasan Pemeliharaan Anak dan Bayi (YPAB) Permata Hati adalah salah satu Panti Asuhan yang memelihara anak dan bayi yang membutuhkan perlindungan dan pendidikan di Kota Surakarta. Pada masa pandemic covid-19, layanan kesehatan bagi anak dan bayi di YPAB Permata Hati jarang mendapatkan kunjungan dan pemeriksaan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk membantu pelayanan kesehatan bagi anak dan bayi di YPAB Permata Hati Kota Surakarta dalam memantau pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta status gizi. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan berupa pemeriksaan tumbuh kembang anak dan status gizi, penyuluhan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat, serta penyuluhan cara menyikat gigi yang benar. Hasil pemeriksaan status gizi dan tumbuh kembang anak dan bayi di YPAB Permata Hati Kota Surakarta terdapat 30 persen termasuk kurus dan 1 orang anak termasuk suspek perkembangan Denver II (lingkar kepala termasuk mikro). Penyuluhan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat dan cara sikat gigi yang benar diikuti secara antusias oleh anak-anak YPAB Permata Hati Kota Surakarta Orphanages are places of care for children and babies who are handed over due to parents who are experiencing economic difficulties or even without parents. The Permata Hati Child and Infant Care Foundation (YPAB) is one of the orphanages that care for children and babies who need protection and education in the city of Surakarta. During the Covid-19 pandemic, health services for children and infants at YPAB Permata Hati rarely received visits and checks. The purpose of this community service is to help provide health services for children and infants at YPAB Permata Hati Surakarta City in monitoring growth and development as well as nutritional status. The implementation method used is in the form of examining children's growth and development and nutritional status, counseling on Clean and Healthy Behavior, as well as counseling on how to brush their teeth properly. The results of examinations on the nutritional status and development of children and infants at YPAB Permata Hati, Surakarta, found that 30 percent were underweight and 1 person was suspected of developing Denver II (head circumference including micro). Counseling on Clean and Healthy Behavior and how to brush your teeth was enthusiastically followed by YPAB Permata Hati Surakarta children

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of diction in da'wah writings delivered by two great scholars in the history of Islam in Indonesia, namely Ahmad Hassan and Ahmad Dahlan. The writings studied are Ahmad Hassan's writing entitled “High Modesty in Islam” and Ahmad Dahlan's writing entitled “The Unity of Human Life”. This research is focused on diction which is specialized again on the study of standard and substandard language, scientific words and popular words. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that examines based on the phenomena written in the works of the two figures and described as a description of the results of the analysis. The results of this study indicate that the diction used by the two figures reflects differences but is still correlated because Ahmad Hassan uses more standard and scientific language diction so that the spread of da'wah can only be done to educated people or certain groups who study the science. Meanwhile, Ahmad Dahlan prefers standard and popular language diction so that the da'wah given through his writings can be accepted by all levels of society from the top to the bottom. This is evidenced by Ahmad Hassan Dahlan's use of popular words 10 diction while Ahmad Dahlan up to 18 diction but Ahmad Hassan's use of scientific words reached 5 diction while Ahmad Dahlan did not use scientific words.Keywords: Diction, Ahmad Hassan, Ahmad Dahlan, Da’wah.

Abstract

Abstract Jatisari village, located in Tajinan sub-district, Malang district, has an economy dominated by agriculture and brick production. Although most residents are economically well-off, inequalities are still evident, showing the disparity of wealth distribution at the village level. In addition, reading interest in Jatisari village is a key focus. Observations and interviews with village officials revealed.  The Jatisari Village community has a low level of information literacy, especially among teenagers. Secondly, the Jatisari village government has a library/reading room, but it is not managed in accordance with applicable library/reading room standards. The implementation method includes preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. By involving the community in every stage, it is hoped that this program can have a sustainable positive impact. Keywords: Digital Library, Literacy, Learning Abstrak Desa Jatisari yang terletak di Kecamatan Tajinan, Kabupaten Malang, memiliki perekonomian yang didominasi oleh pertanian dan produksi batu bata. Meskipun sebagian besar penduduknya berkecukupan secara ekonomi, namun ketimpangan masih terlihat jelas, yang menunjukkan adanya ketimpangan distribusi kekayaan di tingkat desa. Selain itu, minat baca di Desa Jatisari menjadi fokus utama. Hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan perangkat desa mengungkapkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Jatisari memiliki tingkat literasi informasi yang rendah, terutama di kalangan remaja. Kedua, Pemerintah Desa Jatisari memiliki perpustakaan/ruang baca, namun belum dikelola sesuai dengan standar perpustakaan/ruang baca yang berlaku. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam setiap tahapan, diharapkan program ini dapat memberikan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Perpustakaan Digital, Literasi, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organic pada ampas kelapa yang di fermentasi menggunakan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret - Desember 2021 di Labolatorium Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan Universitas Muhammadiya Bengkulu dan analisa kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik dilaksanakan di di Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak Perah Depertemen Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan Fakultas Peternakan Insitut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok ulangan. Ampas kelapa fermentasi menggunakan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) dengan komposisi 2 kg ampas kelapa, 5% molasses dan 5% dedak. Perlakuan yang di uji adalah dosis mol isi rumen yaitu P0=0%, P1=2,5%, P2=5%, P3=7,5%, P4=10% mol isi rumen. Parameter yang diamati yaitu kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organic. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis mol isi rumen berpengaruh nyata(P<0,05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan bahan organik. Hasil rata rata kecernaan bahan kering berkisar antara 57,69 – 60,69% dan kecernaan bahan organik berkisar antara 58,06 – 60,74%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ampas kelapa yang diberi mol isi rumen sebanyak 5% dapat meningkatkan Kecernaan bahan kering dengan baik tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kecernaan bahan organic. level mikroorganisme local (mol) yang terbaik adalah pada dosis 5%. Abstract

This study examines the effect of bank-specific factors on the financial stability of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia from 2013 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach and panel data regression analysis on secondary data from 15 Islamic banks listed on the IDX, the study finds that Non-Performing Finance (NPF) has a significant negative effect, Bank Size has a significant positive effect, and Bank Age has a positive but insignificant effect on financial stability. Collectively, NPF, Bank Size, and Bank Age significantly influence financial stability.

Abstract

This narrative literature review aims to critically review the development of research on diversification policies and company performance in the context of family company ownership in Asian countries. The study is based on a review of 75 empirical research articles. The findings from the review state that there are still inconsistencies in research results in improving performance. The diversification policies that are related and non-related give mixed results on increased performance and corporate excess value. Motivation of family companies in developing diversified businesses is interpreted differently according to agency theory, resources-based theory, and social wealth theory. The role of the pyramid ownership structure and the transformation between generations of families also contributes to determining the impact of diversification on improving company performance. This study recommends future research to develop a more holistic understanding of the determinant and contextual models in differentiating the performance of family firms in determining related and non-related diversification policy choices. Abstract

ABSTRACK In line with the change of era and the increased number of people, the increase of people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is quite high, such increase of DM case is potentially caused by the transformation of lifestyle and dietary program (Pakaya, 2023). Some External factors in the prevention of Diabetes Mellitus include the interaction of health workers with patients, environmental aspects and family support. (Hamdani et al., 2017). This community service activity aims to inform and educate the respondents about the application of family support in improving dietary compliance of patients with diabetes mellitus around RT 04 Pulokerto Village. This activity was done on November 12th, 2024 at Pulokerto Village, Gandus District Palembang with 35 participants. This activity was kind of community empowerment through health counseling by lecturing and discussion methods. The material contains the application of family support in improving the dietary compliance of patients with diabetes mellitus around RT 04 Pulokerto Village. It is hoped that the community could enrich the information about diabetes mellitus dietary adherence by attending regular counseling activities from health practitioners.
