Abstract

Batuk merupakan tanda dan gejala yang umum terjadi pada balita yang terjadi pada 25% ISPA (WHO,2016). Terdapat 39,1% balita mengalami batuk dengan kunjungan rata-rata 2,92 - 3,54 kali. Batuk merupakan tanda gejala penyakit yang disebabkan oleh banyak faktor. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahu faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian batuk. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan teknik accidental sampling yang mengambil sebanyak 40 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji T independent dan uji Fisher Exact. Hasil analasis didapatkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian batuk pada balita yaitu usia, jenis kelamin, status imunisasi, pengetahuan ibu, pendidikan ibu, dan riwayat merokok. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan batuk dan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menganalisis lebih jauh faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian batuk.

Abstract

Diarrhoea is a condition in which a person feels defecation with liquid or watery stools, generally occurring more than three times per day. Diarrhoea in toddlers in the area work Puskesmas Tambakrejo City Surabaya for the last 3 years (2020-2023) has increased. The increase shows an increasing trend of cases so it is necessary to know the cause. The purpose of this study was to identify factors - factors causes of diarrhoea in toddlers, namely: clean water facilities, healthy toilet facilities, sewerage and garbage disposal facilities in the homes of toddlers with diarrhoea. This study uses descriptive research with a approach cross-sectional using 47 samples. This research is a survey study by making observations at the same time or once upon a time with the help of questionnaires and interviews with mothers of toddlers. The results showed that as many as 80.9% of respondents who had clean water facilities met requirements, 80.9% of respondents' healthy latrine facilities met the requirements, 95.7% of respondents' sewerage met the requirements and 61.7% of waste disposal facilities met the requirements. The conclusion of this study shows that all variables studied fulfil the requirements of the applicable health standards. fulfil the requirements by the applicable standard quality of health. The region's community is expected to implement clean and healthy living behaviour.

Abstract

This positive trend needs to continue to maintain its growth so that the MSME sector on a large scale is able to overcome the problem of unemployment in Indonesia. MSMEs are part of the independent Indonesian economy and have great potential to improve people's welfare seen from the three roles of MSMEs in the Indonesian economy, including a means of equalizing the economic level of the small people, a means of alleviating poverty and a means of earning foreign exchange for the country. MSME business with small capital is possible for anyone to do. MSME businesses must develop and be known by the wider community, so that their products can be known and consumed by the wider community. MSME branding aims to involve creating and maintaining a strong and positive brand image in the eyes of consumers. Branding is an effort to build an identity that differentiates a product or service from its competitors. The government is committed to increasing the contribution of micro, small and medium enterprises to the economy. However, the results of various MSME empowerment programs that have been implemented by Ministries and Institutions have not been optimal. Therefore, synchronization and harmonization of MSME empowerment programs is needed to increase the effectiveness of program implementation, so that it can increase the contribution of MSMEs to the economy. Through a community service program called "Capacity Building for MSMEs to Upgrade" the aim is not only to help accelerate national economic growth, but as an effort to empower micro businesses to move up to the scale of small businesses which need to be managed in a more targeted and measurable manner. The program is carried out by providing various materials needed to support the empowerment of MSMEs to advance to class.

Abstract

This research wants to further examine ‘The influence of motivation and work stress on the performance of TAM Surabaya Distribution Centre employees’. The background of this research is that the author sees the phenomenon of employees feeling less motivated at work because there are problems with superiors and fellow workers. A fraction of employees who like to complain about the existing work pressure. Which has an impact on the performance of these employees decreasing or not focusing on work. Meanwhile, some employees still work with the same motivation every time and rarely complain. In conducting this research the authors used quantitative research methods with a sample of 56 respondents, and the sampling technique used was tehkin pusrposive sampling. In collecting data the author uses a questionnaire using a Likert measuring scale. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and t test.

Abstract

Penularan virus Corona terjadi jika orang yang terinfeksi membuang droplet ke orang lain yang berada dalam jarak dekat. Dengan diterapkannya New Normal, pemerintah berharap roda perekonomian di Indonesia dapat tetap berjalan selama pandemi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penerapan protokol kesehatan dalam upaya pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di era new normal di pusat perbelanjaan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk evaluatif menggunakan model CIPP (context, input, process, product). Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di 3 (tiga) pusat perbelanjaan yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Data penelitian berupa data primer yang merupakan hasil pengisian lembar observasi dan hasil wawancara dengan pengelola pusat perbelanjaan. Hasil evaluasi secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga pusat perbelanjaan yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Bojonegoro tergolong Baik. Persentase hasil keseluruhan evaluasi Model CIPP terbesar adalah 89%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak pusat perbelanjaan, pengunjung telah menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di pusat perbelanjaan yang ada di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya sumber pedoman penerapan protokol kesehatan penularan Covid-19 di era new normal di pusat perbelanjaan. Dampak dari minimnya pedoman tersebut adalah pada saat pelaksanaan proses penerapan protokol masih terdapat kekurangan.

Abstract

Complementary alternative medicine therapy is a medical practice group and health which is considered as part of conventional treatment. Many studies indicate the frequent use of complementary alternative therapy by patients affected by chronic illness. It is used by neurologic disorder patients like stroke, compared with non neurologic disorder like hypnosis, yoga, herbal therapy, and acupunture. In their service to stroke patients, nurses play their role in giving information and education concerning complementary alternative therapy. Indonesian nurses are beginning to use this method in their practices so that many of them participate in training about it. The objective of the research was to explore nurses’ experience in applying complementary alternative medicine in stroke patients in West Sumatera. The research used descriptive phenomenological approach with 14 nurses. The data werw gathered by conducting in-depth interviews, guided interview, and filed records and analyzed by using Collaizzimethode (1978) through seven stages. The study found there were seven themes as follows: increase capability take care of patients, assist cope patient complaint, nurse give information about therapy alternative to patients, nurses give therapy as standard, add finances and relations, feel happiness and satisfaction, and barrier applying alternative therapy. The themes in in this research were new themes in qualitative research related to nurses’ experience in applying complementary alternative therapy in stroke patients.

Abstract

Primary hypertension if not controlled properly at home will develop into secondary hypertension which may cause damage to the target organ. Primary hypertension is often called the "Silent Killer" because it has no early symptoms, patients often do not realize it and did not check into the health service thus increasing the incidence of hypertension, in general, increased prevalence of primary hypertension in West Sumatra province in which the majority of tribes Minang community. This study aims to dig deeper primary hypertension patients experience Minang tribe undergoing treatment at home. This type of research is descriptive phenomenology. The method used in this study using Colaizzi consisting of 7 steps. The number of participants in this study were 15 participants. Results of this study discusses the primary hypertension patients experience Minang tribe who undergo treatment at home. This study revealed six themes, namely; (1) Knowledge and understanding of hypertension, (2) Habit lived, the daily routine in the control of blood pressure at home, (3) feelings and beliefs on health, (4) barriers in controlling blood pressure at home, (5) external support in the control of blood pressure at home, and (6) reliance on the use of alternative therapies (naturally). Suggestions for patients with primary hypertension walking is a great exercise. This can be done each day, special training is not important, the important thing is regular exercise, regular physical activity can lower blood pressure by 5 to 10 mmHg.

Abstract

Background: Infants constitute the age group vulnerable to various diseases. Diarrhea has been a major cause of infant death in Indonesia. Knowledge, attitude, and clean and healthy life behavior have some contribution to diarrhea case.Objective: This research aimed at discovering which factor is most significantly associated with the prevention of diarrhea case in infants in the final waste landfill area of Bantar Gebang.Method: This method in this research is analytic with cross-sectional approach, is conducted between October and November 2013 in Bantar Gebang community health center (Puskesmas) with its subjects covering 72 mothers having their children under five. Its bi-variable analysis uses Chi-Square, while its multi-variable analysis uses multiple logistic regression.Result: The study indicated that knowledge (p=0.001), attitude (p=0.001), and clean and healthy life behavior (p=0.009) had some association with diarrhea case. The result of multiple logistic regression test indicated that attitude (OR 23.227) was the factor with most significant association with diarrhea compared to knowledge and behavior.Conclusion: There was an association of knowledge, attitude, and CHLB with diarrhea case in infants.Keywords: Diarrhea case, Knowledge, Attitude, CHLB.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebersihan diri orang tua dan anak di SLB Negeri Widi Asih Pangandaran. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan metodologi cross sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 70 orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan status sekolah menengah atas. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kebersihan diri orang tua dan anak. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku orang tua yang baik dapat membuat kebutuhan anak menjadi lebih baik, yang mengarah pada peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua dalam kebersihan diri.

Abstract

The cases of Tuberculosis (TB) children in Indonesia increased in 2023 due to the impact of the new normal life. This increase was attributed to delayed immunization, poor nutrition, restrictions on activities, and disruptions to treatment services. The new normal life also affected the increasing number of TB children, in addition to certain ethnic beliefs and culture, causing a significant rise in hospitalized patients and deaths. Therefore, this study aims to explore the experience of pediatric nurses in caring for TB children from various ethnic groups during the new normal life. This study used a phenomenological method, consisting of 12 nurses working in a pediatric ward who were interviewed in an isolated room. The purposive sampling method was used to collect data through semi-structured and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out using the 7-step Colaizzi method. The results showed that a total of 5 themes were identified, namely 1) nurses challenged by patients condition, 2) focus on safety care, 3) the influence of local culture in TB treatment, 4) differences in perceptions of TB between nurses as well as parents, and 5) understanding the perceptions of ethnic beliefs and culture of parents towards the disease. There are still challenges that pediatric nurses must overcome in providing care to patients in hospitals. The results could serve as initial data for developing guidelines or protocols incorporating a cultural competency method, thereby minimizing differences in the provision of nursing care for children with TB.
