Abstract

This research aims to analyze how to improve the social emotional abilities of young children through collage activities. The method in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive type. Then the data collection technique in this research is library research or literature study, where the method uses a library approach to collect data from the library, reading and taking notes. The analysis technique used in this research is the content of the article which is an in-depth discussion of the content of written information. The results of this research show that collage activities can improve the social emotional abilities of young children by collaborating with hand, eye and art activities so that they can stimulate fine motor development for normal and disabled children. This activity is carried out with Gutu guidance so that the child's patience when gluing or matching patterns when carrying out collage activities can be optimal and get good and neater collage results.

Abstract

This research highlights the positive impact of using bead stringing teaching materials in play-based learning activities on the social-emotional development of children. Engaging children in bead stringing activities leads to increased interest, independence, ability to follow rules, task completion, and appreciation of their own and others' work. The enjoyable environment created motivates children to participate with enthusiasm and focus, while also developing patience and perseverance. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations to explore the effectiveness of bead stringing activities in promoting children's social-emotional development and identifying influencing factors. From the research findings, bead stringing activities not only contribute to artistic and creative development but also play a crucial role in developing essential social and emotional skills for the holistic growth and development of young children. Therefore, the use of bead stringing activities in early childhood education can be considered as an effective method to support children's social-emotional development.

Abstract

Based on the results and discussions carried out by researchers, it was concluded that role-playing activities could improve the social-emotional abilities of group B children at Ananda Junior Kindergarten, Tampan Pekanbaru District. This can be proven by the increase in children's social emotional abilities that has been achieved, which can be seen from the implementation of actions in cycle I to the completion of actions in cycle II and researchers provide motivation to children and gifts as encouragement and appreciation for the children's efforts in carry out role playing activities well and get maximum results. The social emotional abilities of play group children increased after the researchers carried out actions from cycle I to cycle II which were carried out through several stages and processes including a) the author told the story b) then the children were asked to carry out role playing activities by following the storyline that had been designed as well as possible. and as much as possible.

Abstract

Pembelajaran praktikum adalah bagian penting dalam pembelajaran kimia karena dengan praktikum siswa juga mempelajari pengetahuan teoritis melalui aplikasi dengan berbagai alat dan mereka memperoleh pengalaman praktis. Pengetahuan keterampilan laboratorium kimia siswa SMA di Kota Ternate berada pada kategori rendah, sehingga dibutuhkan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan laboratorium siswa. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar laboratorium siswa dalam menimbang, memipet, menyiapkan larutan, mengukur pH, keselamatan laboratorium, dan melakukan penyaringan serta memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa dalam hal mengenali, mengidentifikasi, dan mengatur penggunaan peralatan laboratorium. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan.   Peserta PKM adalah siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate yang berjumlah 32 orang. Bentuk evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk mengukur keterampilan laboratorium adalah dalam bentuk observasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan rata-rata keterampilan laboratorium siswa sebesar 82% berada dalam kategiri baik. Sehingga melalui pengabdian ini ada peningkatan keterampilan laboratorium siswa dari kategori rendah menjadi kategori baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe discource analysis in the social media account of an influencer named Gitasav about childfree. Gitasav's statement on her Instagram was analyzed using the Norman Fairclough (1989) discourse analysis model. This research is qualitative descriptive research, namely research that aims to describe a phenomenon. The data in this study were collected using the read and note method. The data collected will pass three dimensional concept in it; text analysis, discource practice, and sociocultural practice. The result of this study describe discource based on text analysis, discursive practice and sociocultural pratices. Based on the text analysis, that is the ideology which revealed that woman who have children would be the one who was disadvantaged in a household. Based on the analysis of discursive practice, the ideology built in these comments was not fully accepted by society. This reflected the public's response to children's free thought which was not commonly heard in Indonesia. Based on the analysis of sociocultural practices, the childfree discourse uploaded by Gitasav, social life and the thick patriarchal system in Indonesia played a major role in the emergence of public discourse regarding Gitasav's comments.

Abstract

Parenting plays a very significant role in children's social-emotional development. Supportive and responsive parenting can help children develop self-confidence, the ability to manage emotions, and good social skills. The main objective of this study is to explore the relationship between parenting and early childhood social emotional development. This research will use both qualitative and quantitative approaches through analysing data collected from interviews, questionnaires and observations. This research uses a descriptive case study approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the influence of parenting on early childhood social emotional development. Parenting has a very important role in shaping early childhood social-emotional development. In the context of this study, authoritative parenting, which emphasises a balance between strict control and emotional support, has been shown to contribute positively to children's well-being. Direct observations and questionnaire analyses revealed that parents who adopt authoritative parenting tend to create a supportive and safe environment for their children's development.

Abstract

Even though MSMEs are an important part of the Indonesian economy, many of them still face problems in financial management, especially in calculating the correct cost of goods sold (COGS). The aim of this study is to determine the extent to which training in calculating the cost of goods sold (COGS) can increase the knowledge and ability of MSMEs to set competitive selling prices. Socialization participants are five small and medium companies (MSMEs) operating in the food and beverage industry in the central area of Jakarta. Lectures, discussions and practices are part of the participatory approach used. Courses on the basic principles of cost accounting, cost classification, and how to calculate the costs of raw materials, direct labor, and factory overhead were given to participants. After the training, MSME owners found that participants' understanding of the COGS concept increased by 85% and their ability to calculate COGS increased 75%. They also recognize the benefits of training for their business in determining competitive selling prices and increasing profits. In conclusion, socializing the calculation of cost of goods sold (HPP) has proven effective in helping MSMEs manage their finances and set the right selling price. It is recommended that similar training be held regularly and reach more MSMEs so that they can develop and survive for a long time.

Abstract

Early childhood education or Kindergarten education is the initial education taken by everyone in the beginning of education other than elementary school. Early childhood is a small child who has an age range of 0-8 years in which the stages of development and growth in children occur very rapidly. In this day and age, not a few parents often entrust their children or send their children to kindergarten or early childhood education, apart from children having playmates in this education, they are also given a stimulus that parents may not do to their children. This research was made with the aim of developing games that involve many people or in mutual assistance games, apart from introducing traditional games which are now rarely used, this has other benefits such as: training mutual trust, courage, self-confidence and responsibility. Maybe today's teachers and parents rarely introduce this traditional game, let alone the cat-mouse game or often called the cat-and-mouse game in the Christmas area, Natal district, Christmas Mandailing district and in our opinion this game must be developed and even very necessary because to support the extinction one of Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan permainan kereta-apian apakah berdampak pada peningkatan kedisiplinan anak usia dini di sekolah RA Perburuan Hajjah Marlina. Anak usia dini sangat senang dengan bermain. Salah satu permainan yang gemar dipergakan adalah kereta-apian yang dimainkan secara berkelompok. Penerapan permainan ini tidak dapat berpengaruh positif tanpa diperkenalkan kepada generasi muda. Pengenalan guna meningkatkan kedisipilinan anak usia muda. Kereta-apian yang menjadi permainan favorite anak-anak menjadi penciri khas cerminan kedisiplinan anak-anak dalam mengikuti arahan. Penerapan permainan kereta-apian merupakan upaya yang dapat ditempuh untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan anak usia muda sedari sekolah PAUD agar terbentuk jiwa kebersamaan dan kedisiplinan dalam tim di RA Perburuan Hajjah Marlina.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pemahaman dan pengalaman orang tua serta petugas posyandu mengenai pentingnya deteksi dini tumbuh kembang anak usia 0-72 bulan untuk mencegah gangguan perkembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan yang dilakukan di Posyandu Silindit. Informan penelitian terdiri dari 15 orang tua, 2 petugas kesehatan, dan kader posyandu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun orang tua mulai menyadari pentingnya deteksi dini setelah mendapat penyuluhan di posyandu, pemahaman mereka mengenai tanda-tanda gangguan perkembangan anak masih terbatas. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan deteksi dini adalah pengetahuan orang tua, aksesibilitas posyandu, dan faktor sosial ekonomi. Posyandu berperan penting dalam memberikan pemeriksaan dan edukasi, namun terbatas oleh kendala sumber daya dan rendahnya partisipasi orang tua. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan pendidikan bagi orang tua, pelatihan lebih lanjut bagi petugas posyandu, serta perbaikan aksesibilitas untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan deteksi dini dan intervensi terhadap gangguan perkembangan anak.
