Abstract

This study discusses the importance of mental health with a focus on providing education related to access to psychological services for members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community. Mental health is an important aspect in realizing comprehensive health. However, in most developing countries, mental health issues have not been prioritized. This has the potential to have a long-term impact and disrupt individual work activities if they do not immediately receive psychological services. This service aims to educate members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community about the importance of access to psychological services and the impact of an unhealthy mentality in their activities. This activity involved approximately 25 members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community as participants and one of the Psychologists from the Humind Wellbeing Center as a facilitator, using an interactive discussion method. The results of this activity indicate that a structured and collaborative approach is effective in increasing understanding of the importance of psychological services in maintaining individual mental health and increasing awareness, as well as participant knowledge regarding the importance of early detection and mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Bandar Baru through the application of the Problem-Solving learning model. The research was motivated by the fact that many students demonstrated difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts, interpreting problems, and applying appropriate strategies to find solutions. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) design was employed, consisting of two cycles with each cycle including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 30 students from class V, and data collection was carried out through problem-solving tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study indicated a significant improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. In the preliminary stage, only 36.7% of students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (KKM = 70), with an average score of 62.5. After the first cycle, the average score increased to 73.2 with 66.7% of students meeting the mastery criterion. Further progress was observed in the second cycle, where the average score reached 82.6 and the percentage of students achieving mastery rose to 90%. In addition, students showed higher motivation, better collaboration, and more systematic reasoning in solving mathematical problems. These findings suggest that the Problem-Solving model is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving skills and can be implemented as an alternative instructional strategy in elementary mathematics learning.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the main goal of health services. Patient satisfaction is due to the quality of complete services. Several factors identified that influence patient satisfaction include: accessibility, facilities, and staff communication. This study aims to analyze the effect of accessibility, facilities, and staff communication on outpatient satisfaction at Kolonodale Regional Hospital, North Morowali, Central Sulawesi. This research method is a quantitative approach. The number of samples is 100 patients. The sampling technique uses an accidental sampling method. Data were obtained by filling out a questionnaire using a Likert scale and then analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS application. The results of the study show the effect of accessibility on patient satisfaction with a value (0.016 < 0.05), then the effect of facilities on patient satisfaction with a value (0.00 < 0.05), then the effect of staff communication on patient satisfaction with a value (0.00 < 0.05), and the effect of accessibility, facilities, and staff communication simultaneously on patient satisfaction is positive and significant (0.000 < 0.05). The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (r2 square) = 0.536; This means that the variables of accessibility, facilities, and staff communication collectively influence patient satisfaction by 53.6%, with the remaining 46.4% influenced by other variables. Therefore, the influence of accessibility, facilities, and staff communication, both partially and simultaneously, on patient satisfaction is positive and significant.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic transformation in the endemic adaptation era creates complex investment dynamics for millennials and Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and financial literacy on investment interest and its impact on investment decisions of the younger generation in Bandung City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verification design on 100 respondents through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument is a Likert scale structured questionnaire that has been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis uses path analysis to identify causal relationships between variables. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on investment interest with greater dominance compared to motivation. Both variables simultaneously have a significant effect on investment interest. Investment interest is proven to be a significant mediator of investment decisions. Indirect effect analysis reveals that financial literacy through investment interest contributes more to investment decisions than motivation. Empirical findings confirm the crucial role of financial literacy in shaping the investment behavior of the digital generation. Cognitive components are proven to be more dominant than motivational aspects in driving investment decisions. The research implications emphasize the importance of strengthening financial education as a priority strategy in increasing the participation of the younger generation in the Indonesian capital market.

Abu Zakariya Muhyiddin An-Nawawi stated that the practice of Mu'athah is categorized as buying and selling and its law is valid (legal), referring to urf (customs in society) and based on the argument that Allah has permitted buying and selling, in this case there is no specific editorial provision in the sharia and there is not a single hadith that requires ijab qabul in buying and selling, there is no sin in seeking sustenance in the field of commerce, mutual consent, not difficult and there is no prohibition from the Prophet regarding ba'I mu'alahah. Apart from the Koran and Sunnah, another basis for allowing ba'i mu'alahah is the rules of Ushul Fiqh where the law can change with changing situations, conditions and conditions. Ba'i Mu'athah is a commercial transaction that is carried out by the process of taking and handing over goods without saying I sell and I buy (ijab and qabul)
