Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the education quality assurance system at the Surabaya Job Training Center (BLK) using DeLone and McLean’s Information Systems Success Model (ISSM) as the analytical framework. A qualitative research approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving management, instructors, quality staff, and trainees. Thematic analysis was applied to examine six model dimensions: system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. The findings reveal that the quality assurance system at BLK Surabaya has been effective in improving work efficiency, process integration, and learning motivation. System, information, and service quality positively contribute to user satisfaction and organizational benefits. Nonetheless, challenges remain in network infrastructure and limited practice equipment. This study extends the ISSM application in government vocational training institutions and provides practical implications for strengthening digital-based education quality assurance in Indonesia. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for children with special needs requires innovative and adaptive learning strategies to accommodate the diversity of characteristics and special needs of students. This study aims to describe the distribution and main findings of articles on PAI learning strategies for children with special needs from 2019 to 2024, identify emerging patterns of innovation, and examine strategies that have been proven effective based on empirical evidence. Using the systematic literature review (SLR) method with the PRISMA guidelines, this study analysed 42 selected journal articles from 200 initial publications through the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish 8 application. Four key findings were identified, including adjustments to learning aspects, the central role of teachers, the dynamics of supporting and inhibiting factors, and positive impacts on children with special needs. The innovation pattern led to three integrated dimensions: structural, pedagogical, and cultural-communal. The study's implications emphasise reforming a curriculum based on Universal Design for Learning, strengthening teacher training, and providing inclusive technological infrastructure. Further research is recommended to examine the comparative effectiveness of strategies, develop authentic assessment instruments, investigate long-term impacts, and explore artificial intelligence in PAI learning for children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergy between Islamic trade financing and Indonesia's economic diplomacy in strengthening intra-Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) trade. Although various Islamic economic initiatives have been launched through the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), the level of economic integration among OIC member countries remains relatively low, with intra-OIC trade accounting for only 16–17% of the total global trade of member countries. This condition indicates a gap between the financial potential of Islamic financial institutions and the effectiveness of national economic diplomacy policies. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review to explore academic literature, policy documents, and reports from Islamic financial and diplomatic institutions. The results of the analysis show that sharia trade financing plays an important role in supporting trade flows between Muslim countries through financial instruments such as murabahah, istisna, and wakalah bil ujrah, but its impact is still limited without the support of proactive economic diplomacy. Furthermore, Indonesia's economic diplomacy focuses on promoting halal products and multilateral cooperation, but it has not been effectively integrated with existing sharia financing schemes. This study recommends developing an Islamic Economic Diplomacy model that incorporates financial and diplomatic dimensions into a single policy framework, emphasizing three main pillars: institutional coordination, integration of financing and trade promotion, and strengthening of value-based diplomacy based on maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. This synergy is expected to enhance intra-OIC trade competitiveness, expand the global halal value chain, and position Indonesia as the center of gravity for a just, inclusive, and sustainable global Islamic economy.
