Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the relationship between vocabulary mastery and learning motivation on the achievement of memorizing the Quran. This study uses a Quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population in this study were all 8th grade students of MTS Darul Quran Medan, totaling 20 people. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by Pearson validity test, reliability test, Multiple Linear Regression analysis through the SPSS version 25 statistical program. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between mastery of Arabic vocabulary and learning motivation on the achievement of memorizing the Quran, so it can be concluded that there is a strong and positive relationship between mastery of Arabic vocabulary and learning motivation on the achievement of memorizing the Quran. Evidenced by the value of the hypothesis test results which is 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05 and the R square value is 78.4%. Thus, the results of this study confirm the importance of mastery of Arabic vocabulary and learning motivation in improving the achievement of memorizing the Al-Qur’an, and these two factors are some of the factors that must be prioritized in memorizing the Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

The Indigenous Community Group and health cadres of Lok Buntar Village are partners in the Community Partnership Empowerment program. This group consists of several traditional medicine experts (BATTRA) for heart attacks. The village community, mostly farmers, tend to choose traditional medicine due to limited internet access and the distance to the hospital. However, the high mortality rate indicates the need for increased knowledge of heart health. Through the assistance of cadres, they are expected to educate the community using the Transcultural Nursing Care approach. (TNC). The goal is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the cadres, as well as empower the indigenous community in addressing heart health issues. The implementation methods are: planning, action, observation, and evaluation. The average level of knowledge among cadres increased from a high category (82.22%) to a higher level (93.33%), while the community's initial low level (43.33%) improved to a moderate level (75%). A culturally-based approach and ongoing support are expected to help the village community achieve better overall heart health. This is a positive step towards community empowerment and sustainable improvement in quality of life.

Abstract

Performance appraisal of neighborhood heads at the urban village level is often done manually and subjectively, resulting in inaccuracies and unfairness in the evaluation process. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Neighborhood Head Performance Assessment Information System in Medan Labuhan Subdistrict that integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system was built using the Waterfall method approach and developed with Flutter and Pocketbase technology. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using thematic analysis techniques and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results show that the system is able to manage criteria data, weighting, candidates, and assessment reports in real-time and efficiently. The system not only improves the objectivity of the assessment, but also supports transparency and community participation in the local governance process. Some suggestions for further development include optimizing backend performance, adding offline mode, and notification features.

Abstract

Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises are one of the backbones of the community economy in the Cimanggis sub-district, Depok. One of the known products is tofu which is produced by MSME business actors in the Cimanggis sub-district, Depok. MSME bag craftsmen in the region still use simple systems and technology in running their business including production, administration,marketing, financial recording and payroll. The aim of this service activity is to provide and introduce how to make salary slips to help prepare and transparency salaries/wages for employees in these MSMEs. The service was carried out online using Zoom Meeting media in the form of presentations and practice (tutorials) in making pay slips, presentations using the Microsoft Office Powerpoint and Microsoft Office Excel applications. Participants in service activities are representatives of MSME business actors in Cimanggis sub-district, Depok and fellow Community Service (PKM) participants. The implementation of the service received enthusiasm from the participants because it was in accordance with the conditions of business actors and could be implemented immediately, easily and cheaply.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, corporate image, and service quality on property product purchasing decisions at the HZ Property company in Medan. The background of this study is the low purchase conversion even though the company has developed projects in strategic locations. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a questionnaire to 85 respondents who are HZ Property consumers, which is determined using the Slovin formula. The independent variables in this study are product quality, corporate image, and service quality, while the dependent variable is the purchase decision. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study show that the three independent variables have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. Consistent product quality, positive corporate image, and responsive service have been shown to increase consumer trust and buying interest. These findings provide theoretical contributions in the development of property consumer behavior studies, as well as practical benefits for HZ Property in formulating customer preference-based marketing strategies. This study also fills the literature gap by highlighting the simultaneous influence of the three variables on the local property sector. With an integrative approach, the results of this study are expected to be a strategic reference in improving property sales performance amidst increasingly competitive market competition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Interactive Mad Libs Activities onimproving students&#39; vocabulary mastery in English learning. The research wasconducted at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 40 Makassar with the subject of class VIIIstudents. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test andpost-test. The instrument used was a vocabulary multiple choice test of 20questions given before and after treatment. The treatment was conducted in fourmeetings through Interactive Mad Libs Activities with contextual stories thatrequired students to fill in the blanks according to certain word classes such asnouns, verbs, and adjectives. The data from the pre-test and post-test wereanalyzed quantitatively using SPSS, including the calculation of the mean value,standard deviation, and paired sample t-test. The results showed a significantincrease in students&#39; vocabulary mastery, with an average pre-test score of 51.29increasing to 81.14 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test results showed asignificance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant differencebetween the pre-test and post-test scores. The findings prove that Interactive MadLibs Activities is effective in helping students learn, remember, and use vocabularyin a fun and meaningful context, and can be used as an alternative interactive andengaging English vocabulary learning strategy.

Abstract

Obat tradisional seperti jamu telah lama digunakan masyarakat Indonesia untuk mengatasi berbagai gangguan kesehatan, termasuk pegal linu. Namun, meningkatnya permintaan pasar menyebabkan beberapa produsen menambahkan Bahan Kimia Obat (BKO) secara ilegal untuk meningkatkan efektivitas produk. Salah satu BKO yang sering disalahgunakan adalah natrium diklofenak, obat antiinflamasi nonsteroid (OAINS) yang dapat menimbulkan efek samping serius jika dikonsumsi tanpa pengawasan medis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan natrium diklofenak dalam 15 sampel jamu pegal linu yang dijual di Pasar Lama Kota Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT). Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dan kualitatif. Sampel diekstraksi dan diuapkan hingga kental, kemudian diuji pada plat KLT menggunakan eluen campuran n-heksana dan etil asetat (7:3). Bercak diamati di bawah sinar UV 254 nm dan dibandingkan dengan larutan standar natrium diklofenak untuk menentukan keberadaan senyawa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 7 sampel jamu, yaitu yaitu Sakit Pinggang, Pegel Linu, Cuk Sirih, Sari Rapet, Sabdo, Angkur Putih, dan Sehat Wanita, positif mengandung natrium diklofenak, sementara 8 sampel lainnya negatif. Penambahan natrium diklofenak secara ilegal ini membahayakan konsumen dan merusak citra jamu sebagai obat tradisional berbahan alami. Metode KLT terbukti efektif sebagai skrining awal untuk mendeteksi keberadaan BKO dalam produk jamu. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengawasan ketat, pengujian rutin, serta edukasi masyarakat guna mencegah peredaran jamu yang mengandung BKO dan menjaga keamanan obat tradisional.

Abstract

Demam tifoid  saat ini masih menjadi masalah serius di dunia dan kerap terjadi di berbagai negara. Terapi farmakologi yang digunakan untuk demam tifoid yaitu antibiotik kloramfenikol, tetapi pada saat ini masih sering terjadi resistensi kloramfenikol terhadap Salmonella typhi sehingga perlu penemuan obat alternatif antibakteri untuk demam tifoid. Terapi alternatif non farmakologi yang sering digunakan yaitu ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) yang mempunyai kandungan metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin dan saponin yang diduga dapat sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifkasi nilai Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) dan nilai Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) terhadap bakteri Salmonella typhi. Pada skrining aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) terhadap Salmonella typhi menggunakan metode difusi sumuran. Penentuan MIC dan MBC ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) menggunakan metode dilusi. Zona hambat aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) terhadap Salmonella typhi adalah 19,22 mm dan memiliki nilai MIC pada konsentrasi 50% (0,5 g/ml). Ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) tidak mempunyai kemampuan daya bunuh bakteri Salmonella typhi. Ekstrak gambir (Uncaria gambir (hunter) Roxb) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Salmonella typhi dengan nilai MIC 0,5g/ml.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan keterampilan dasar dalam penggunaan dan produksi media digital, namun sangat disayangkan guru-guru di SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran digital dalam proses belajar mengajar. Guru juga belum mengetahui bahwa ada banyak aplikasi pendukung media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat diadaptasi untuk diaplikasikan dalam proses belajar mengajar terutama belum tersedia akses belajar dan berlatih secara langsung perihal literasi digital dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif karena minimnya pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah Memberikan sosialisasi terkait pentingnya literasi digital di lingkungan sekolah dan memberikan pelatihan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Wordwall secara komperehensif sebagai solusi dari adaptasi dan pembiasaan literasi digital tersebut. Berdasarkan solusi tersebut, diharapkan dapat dihasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Wordwall yang tepat guna untuk mendorong peningkatan kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian ini berupa produk media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Wordwall yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital guru. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi digital guru di SMP Negeri 2 Dewantara. Guru mampu memahami konsep serta mempraktikkan penggunaan aplikasi Wordwall dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Respon peserta melalui angket penilaian menunjukkan apresiasi yang sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata 87,5% berada pada kategori Sangat. Setiap aspek pelatihan, mulai dari materi, fasilitator, pendampingan, sarana, hingga manfaat yang diperoleh, dinilai positif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, dan kompetensi digital guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi pada evaluasi pembelajaran, sehingga dapat dikategorikan sangat berhasil dan efektif.
