Abstract

This paper discusses the dynamics of the establishment of Islamic boarding schools in the minority areas of Jayapura City. This research method is a qualitative research with the approach used is the phenomenological approach and scientific approaches in the form of sociological and historical. The source of the data of this research is the boarding school caretakers, religious teachers, students, community leaders, traditional leaders, coaches, mentors, educators, and the community. Furthermore, the data collection methods used are observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. The next stage is data processing techniques and data analysis is done through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there are three concepts that become the dynamics of the establishment of huts in minority areas, namely: 1) History of its establishment including: there are indications of apostasy in remote areas of transimigration in Jayapura and Keerom Papua, the assumption of the Islamization of the majority of people in Jayapura, the existence of mosques which is very quiet from the pilgrims, the assumption of Islamic boarding schools as a stronghold of Muslims, and the assumption that Islamic boarding schools print human resources with a radical mindset, the involvement of traditional leaders. 2) Institutional development, including: formal and non-formal education. 3) Contributions of Islamic boarding schools include: the social religious field, the field of religious harmony, and the cultural field based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This paper will elaborate deeply on the reality of learning and capacity-based fulfillment at Darul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Jayapura City. Qualitative descriptive research type, conducted on primary and secondary data sources with a phenomenological approach from a methodological perspective, educational sociology and educational psychology from a scientific perspective using interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation tools as instruments to collect data that are processed and analyzed using reduction techniques. data, data presentation, and data conclusions, and validity is tested by triangulation techniques and observation extension. The results showed that learning is carried out classically using formal standard methods, in addition to takhassus learning that studies classical Islamic books that bring results to the ability to memorize the Koran, mastering Arabic and English, and mastery of reading books in limited quantities. The fulfillment of capacity at the Darul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Jayapura City is illustrated, that the aspects of the kiai were not found in the three boarding schools, students from simple family backgrounds, education facilities and infrastructure built from natural materials with semi-permanent capacity. limited, and the same curriculum refers to the Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is one of Islamic educational institution that plays an active role in the formation of human noble morals. Specifically in the development and fostering of student morals in order to form virtuous souls and understand Islamic values well. The Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar also plays a role in fostering the morals and mentality of the students, like boarding schools in general and also has a vision and mission to be achieved, one of which is become a person who a morality, this is in line with the ultimate goal of life. This study aims to determine the variety of morals efforts to foster student at the Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar, Bone. The research methodology in this study is qualitative, and the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that efforts to develop moral character of female students can be done by increasing the reading of the Qur’an, applying disciplinary methods of discipline, applying the valuesof the five souls that are a reference to the boarding school, conducting through learning and moral guidance through extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the reality of the contribution of the school committee in the implementation of school-based management in MAN 1 ternate. This study uses a qualitative research type of case study. The approach used is a pedagogical and managerial approach. The data is the focus of the research, namely improving the quality of education in the implementation of madrasa-based management, while the primary data sources are from the leadership, educators and education staff, committees and parents as well as documents related to efforts to improve the quality of education at MAN 1 Ternate. Secondary data sources in the form of data from various documents relevant to the research. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an inductive-conceptual approach, starting from empirical information and then constructing concepts or propositions. Furthermore, checking the validity of the data using the credibility and transferability test. The results showed the reality of implementing madrasah-based management at MAN 1 Ternate refers to the madrasah organization which can be measured in aspects madrasah committee. Meanwhile, the curriculum dimension in implementing madrasah-based management at MAN 1 Ternate in developing the curriculum is carried out with the madrasah head, all madrasah residents including the committee by adjusting the development and needs of students. Human resource management, the main requirements are aspects of educational qualifications, aspects of democratic, transparent and participatory managerial abilities. The sources of financing for the procurement and purchase of facilities and infrastructure are from DIPA, BOS funds and committee fees.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kedisiplinan belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan pelaksanaan ibadah salat zuhur berjamaah peserta didik di SDN 166 Laburawung Kecamatan Lalabata Kabupaten Soppeng. Penelitian ini termasuk kategori penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan teologis, pedagogis, dan psikologis. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, para pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, dan peserta didik. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kedisiplinan belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan pelaksanaan ibadah salat zuhur berjamaah peserta didik di SDN 166 Laburawung Kecamatan Lalabata Kabupaten Soppeng cukup baik. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan pengamatan yang dilakukan bahwa peserta didik yang disiplin dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam bisa lebih paham tentang ajaran Islam sehingga dapat mengamalkannya terutama dalam hal pelaksanaan ibadah salat zuhur berjamaah.AbstractThe aim of this research was to determine the implementation of learning discipline of Islamic Religious Education subject in improving the midday prayer together to the students of SDN 166 Laburawung, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. This research applied qualitative research using theological, pedagogical, and psychological approaches. Data sources of this research were the principal, educators, staffs, and students. Observation, interview, and documentation were used in collecting the data as instruments. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Therefore, the result indicated that the implementation of learning discipline of Islamic Religious Education in improving midday prayer together to the students of SDN 166 Laburawung, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency was quite good. This finding was in line with the result of observations that the students who were discipline in learning Islamic Religious Education could understand more about the teachings of Islam so that they could apply it especially in terms of the implementation of midday prayer.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the description of the principal's leadership management in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar and to explain the impact of the principal's leadership management in improving the spiritual intelligence of students at SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. The results showed that the principal was able to manage all school resources, including Educators, Education Personnel, Students, infrastructure, finance, administration, planning of learning programs, programs of religious activities (spiritual activities), and others. other. Planning of school learning programs through structured scheduling by the Deputy Head of Curriculum with the involvement of the Principal and Educators in the preparation. The Principal of SMK YP-PGRI I Makassar seeks to organize educators and education staff through the division of tasks to each educator and education staff based on their potential and educational background, namely the distribution of task decrees in the hope that educators and education staff can work according to their job descriptions each.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the description of mastering pedagogical competence, map the teaching readiness, and analyze the significant effect of mastering pedagogical competence on teaching readiness of the prospective elementary school teachers at State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, Indonesia. This research was ex-post-facto quantitative research. The research variables were pedagogical competence and the readiness to be a teacher. The population and sample were all of the final semester students, consisting of 80 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department at UIN Alauddin Makassar who had taken the Field Experience Practice program using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale-based questionnaire. A basic linear regression was employed to analyze the data. The following are the results of this study: (1) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' pedagogical competence was 70.62, indicating that the pedagogical competency score was in the high category; (2) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' teaching readiness mapping was 72.25, indicating that the mapping score of teaching readiness was in the high category; (3) the mean score of prospective elementary school teachers' pedagogical competence was 70.62, indicating that the pedagogical competency score was in the high category.  As a result, prospective elementary school teachers' teaching preparation was influenced by their knowledge of pedagogical competence. Accordingly, prospective elementary school teachers' teaching preparation is needed to be trained by developing pedagogical competency by constructing a learning program in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department.Keywords: pedagogical competence, teaching readiness, prospective elementary school teachers.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik, memetakan realitas kesiapan mengajar, dan mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kesiapan mengajar calon guru sekolah dasar di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis ex-post facto. Variabel penelitian yaitu kompetensi pedagogik dan kesiapan menjadi guru. Populasi dan sampel yaitu seluruh mahasiswa semester akhir program studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) UIN Alauddin Makassar yang telah mengambil program praktik pengenalan lapangan (PPL), dengan sampel random sampling sejumlah 80 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket berbasis skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa: (1) rata-rata skor kompetensi pedagogik calon guru sekolah dasar adalah 70.62 yang berarti secara umum skor kompetensi pedagogik berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) rata-rata pemetaan kesiapan mengajar calon guru sekolah dasar adalah 72.25 yang berarti skor pemetaan kesiapan mengajar berada pada kategori tinggi, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kesiapan mengajar calon guru sekolah dasar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik mempengaruhi kesiapan mengajar calon guru sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, kesiapan mengajar calon guru sekolah dasar perlu dipersiapkan secara matang melalui penguatan kompentesi pedagogik baik melalui penyiapan kurikulum pembelajaran pada jurusan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.Kata kunci: kompetensi pedagogik, kesiapan mengajar, calon guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the correlation between madrasah climate and culture, and teachers’ work motivation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District of Sinjai Regency. This research uses a correlational study with quantitative approach. The participants of this research are 64 teachers from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sinjai District. Data collection technique with questionnaires and then analyzed by using product moment correlation for partial testing and multiple correlation for simultaneous testing. The research reveals some significant findings. First, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah climate and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,448 (which is at moderate level correlation). Second, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah culture and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,559 (which is at moderate level correlation). Third, the finding indicates a positive correlation between madrasah clime and culture, and teachers’ work motivation by correlation coefficient value at 0,572 (which is at moderate level correlation).

Abstract

The purposes of the study were to analyze the availability of supporting infrastructure and facilities in integrating ICT, describe the utilization model of information and communication technology used in the distance learning process, and reveal the interaction model implemented in distance learning classes by using ICT. This study used qualitative research by involving distant classes in cooperation between post graduate program of UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR. The methods in collecting data consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion and verification. The results showed that the integration model of information and communication technologies used in distance learning under the cooperation class between post graduate program at the UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR covered (1) the identification of appropriate sources that are in the category of fairly complete, (2) the use of ICT in distance learning can be categorized into two parts; providing materials and learning activities, and (3) the forms of interaction are faculty-student interaction, student-student interaction, and faculty-student and learning resources interaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasperangkat pembelajaran tematik berbasis scientific approach pada tema “Hidup Rukun”dengan subtema “Hidup Rukun di Rumah” kelas II di MI Darul Hikmah Makassar. Jenispenelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yangmengacu pada model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian (define), tahapperancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (development), dan tahap penyebaran(dessiminate) yang dilaksanakan di kelas II. Instrument yang digunakan dalam pengumpulandata ini dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu format validasi, format kepraktisan, dan formatkeefektivan. Berdasarkan hasil uji kevalidan dari para ahli dengan menggunakan koefisienvalidasi perangkat pembelajaran, yaitu rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) 3, 58(sangat valid) dan lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) 3,35 (Valid). Untuk kepraktisanperangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari lembar observasi keterlaksanaan perangkatpembelajaran 3,53 (sangat valid) dan angket respons guru terhadap perangkat 3,63 (sangatvalid). Sedangkan untuk uji keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan,diperoleh rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 95,33% dari 15 dengan sebanyak 2 orangmendapatkan nilai tinggi dan nilai sangat tinggi sebanyak 13 orang peserta didik.
