Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan proses kompleks yang melibatkan interaksi antara guru dan peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Metode pembelajaran memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan efektivitas pembelajaran dengan meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Setiap metode pembelajaran memiliki karakteristik, keunggulan, dan kelemahan yang dapat disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran, jenis materi, dan kondisi belajar. Pemilihan metode yang tepat merupakan tantangan bagi guru yang harus mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor seperti kemampuan peserta didik, penguasaan metode guru, dan kondisi lingkungan belajar. Pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang metode pembelajaran membantu guru dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan membimbing peserta didik mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara optimal. Makalah ini mengkaji berbagai metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dengan fokus pada karakteristik, kelebihan, dan kekurangannya, dengan harapan memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik bagi praktisi pendidikan dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa yang dimaksud pendekatan pembelajaran dan bagaimana metode pendekatan pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendekatan pembelajaran dalam pendidikan Islam adalah metode yang digunakan dalam proses pendidikan, yang didasarkan pada ajaran dan nilai Islam. Tujuan dari pendekatan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara menyeluruh, meliputi aspek spiritual, intelektual, moral, emosional, dan sosial. Pendekatan pembelajarannya mencakup berbagai jenis, seperti pendekatan pengalaman; yaitu melibatkan pemberian pengalaman keagamaan kepada peserta didik untuk menanamkan nilai agama, pembiasaan yaitu memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk konsisten mengamalkan agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, emosional; yaitu upaya merangsang perasaan & emosi peserta didik dalam memahami menghayati ajaran agama, sehingga mereka memperkuat ikatan emosional mereka dengan Allah, rasional; yaitu upaya memberikan peran yang penting kepada rasio atau akal untuk memahami dan menerima kebenaran ajaran agama, serta menggali hikmah dan fungsi dari ajaran tersebut, fungsional; yaitu cara menyampaikan ajaran agama Islam dengan menekankan manfaatnya bagi peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan, dan keteladanan; yaitu menunjukkan contoh yang baik kepada peserta didik. Setiap pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pengajaran sesuai dengan prinsip Islam dan mendukung perkembangan holistik peserat didik.

Abstract

This systematic review critically examines existing research on religious moderation, focusing on its nomenclature, typologies, and scope. The study employs the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework to enhance transparency in the progression from data collection to article screening. The findings indicate that religious moderation, a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, encompasses the perspectives, attitudes, and behaviours of religious adherents. Its primary objective is to promote social harmony and foster inter- and intra-religious tolerance, thereby safeguarding the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. A total of 21 studies were identified as meeting the inclusion criteria. The scope of research on religious moderation is classified into five distinct scholarly domains: (1) education, (2) social sciences, (3) communication studies, (4) organizational culture, and (5) history. The study underscores the imperative for coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and other governmental entities to mainstream religious moderation, mainly as institutions unaffiliated with the Ministry are at a higher risk of fostering radicalism. Additionally, future research should prioritize conducting empirical surveys on religious moderation within specific regions or institutions to generate evaluative data that will inform and support the Ministry’s strategic initiatives for embedding the values of religious moderation across diverse settings.

Abstract

Education aims to develop the potential of students holistically through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Characteristic-based development of students allows learning to be designed according to their unique needs, including learning styles, multiple intelligences, and social and cultural backgrounds. This article examines the strategy of developing students based on characteristics using a descriptive-analytical literature review method. The results of the study indicate that strategies that focus on student characteristics, such as problem-based and project-based learning, are able to optimize the development of cognition, affectivity, and psychomotor in a balanced manner. This approach supports the creation of effective learning that not only builds knowledge, but also positive attitudes and practical skills, so that students develop into individuals with character and competitiveness.

Abstract

This paper intends to describe and explain the essence of students from the aspects of the definition, position, function, dimensions, and ethics. This study is significant for those who participate in the education world. This research uses a literature review approach and the researcher's reflection method. The literature method uses articles published in various recent scientific journals. In contrast, the reflection method is based on the knowledge and experience of researchers in recognising, identifying and responding to the phenomena of learners in various educational institutions. First, students are individuals experiencing a phase of development or growth in terms of physical, mental, and mind. Second, students are subjects and, at the same time, objects in education that are possible to be active, creative, and productive. Third, the dimensions of students can be understood in seven main dimensions, namely the physical dimension, the reason dimension, the religious dimension, the moral dimension, the spiritual dimension, the art dimension, and the social dimension. Fourth, the world of education has values that all parties, including students, must obey. Student ethics is a tool for students to gain knowledge and a guide in learning activities. Islam has perfectly provided basic guidelines for the ethics of learners

Abstract

This study discusses the modernization and democratization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman. This research was conducted with the aim of: 1) knowing the nature of the concept of modernization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman. 2) knowing the nature of the concept of democratization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman. 3) knowing the variety of modernization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman and 4) knowing the variety of democratization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman. Basically this research is a literature research or library research using a philosophical analysis approach and a historical approach. Data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that the concept of modernization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman, namely: education is the starting point for reform. Any renewal model in Islam would never have happened without the involvement of education in it. Fazlur Rahman emphasized the concept of democratization in freedom for humans to develop creative attitudes and knowledge that exist in humans in order to improve their lives. Furthermore according to Fazlur Rahman that education should be held by promoting the freedom of students, because without the existence of a creative attitude students are difficult to develop. The variety of modernization of Islamic education that was initiated by Fazlur Rahman includes five aspects, namely: The Purpose of Islamic Education, the Education System, Educators, Students, and Educational Facilities. The various types of democratization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman are: respecting human potential and the development and implications of humans on Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi prinsip belajar dan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakanan library research atau studi kepustakaan. Adapun beberapa prinsip belajar dan pembelajaran yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) prinsip perhatian dan motivasi, (2) prinsip keaktifan, (3) prinsip keterlibatan langsung, (4) prinsip pengulangan, (5) prinsip tantangan, dan (6) prinsip perbedaan individu. Prinsip perhatian dan motivasi menekankan pentingnya menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan relevan melalui penghargaan, tantangan, serta pengaitan materi dengan aplikasi nyata. Prinsip keaktifan mengharuskan peserta didik berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran melalui diskusi, proyek kolaboratif, dan simulasi yang mendorong keterlibatan langsung. Prinsip keterlibatan langsung memfasilitasi pemahaman mendalam dengan melibatkan peserta didik dalam eksperimen, praktik, dan presentasi materi. Pengulangan materi memperkuat ingatan melalui latihan berkala, ulasan rutin, dan diskusi kolaboratif. Prinsip tantangan mendorong peserta didik untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif melalui tugas-tugas analitis dan pemecahan masalah. Prinsip perbedaan individu menggarisbawahi pentingnya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar, kemampuan, dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini terbatas pada kajian literatur sehingga tidak mengobservasi penerapan prinsip-prinsip belajar secara langsung di kelas. Selain itu, cakupan sumber literatur terbatas pada database tertentu, yang mungkin belum sepenuhnya mewakili semua penelitian terkait. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melakukan studi empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif atau kuantitatif guna mengeksplorasi implementasi prinsip-prinsip ini di kelas serta dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, memperluas cakupan sumber literatur akan memperkaya temuan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of fifth-grade Jurisprudence students who are taught with and without using Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK)-based teaching materials, as well as to examine the effect of using TPACK-based teaching materials on improving student learning outcomes. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of MI Al-Abrar Makassar City which amounted to 79 people, consisting of 37 students in class V A and 42 students in class V B. This research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through tests. Data analysis used descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential statistical data analysis. The results of the analysis showed that students taught using TPACK-based teaching materials experienced a more significant increase in learning outcomes compared to students taught without TPACK-based teaching materials. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of TPACK-based teaching materials has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of Jurisprudence subjects of grade V students.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial phase in students' social and moral development, where friendships significantly shape their personality and morals. In the educational context, toxic friendships or unhealthy friendships are a concern because they can influence students' behavior and moral values at school. This study aims to analyze the influence of toxic friendships on students' morals at SMP Negeri 1 Kendari. The method used was quantitative with an ex post facto approach. The study sample consisted of 69 students selected from a population of 343 students using a proportionate random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that toxic friendships significantly influenced students' morals. This finding suggests that unhealthy friendships negatively impact moral formation, although other factors also play a role. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the school's role in providing insight and recommendations regarding the influence of toxic friendships on students' morals.

Abstract

Teacher work culture is a key component in achieving educational quality at schools. School principals play a strategic role in shaping and improving productive work culture. This research aims to analyze the principal's management in enhancing teacher work culture at MI Darul Hikmah in Bone Regency. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings reveal that the principal applied a transformational approach through periodic supervision, motivation provision, and creating a collaborative work environment. Supporting factors include the principal's strong commitment, availability of learning facilities, and positive interactions among teachers. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include teacher tardiness, high workloads with low compensation, and limited learning resources, particularly for the Merdeka Curriculum. To address these challenges, the principal implemented a duty roster system, personal approaches, and encouraged collaboration between senior and junior teachers. Additionally, the principal initiated teacher professionalism development programs through training and seminars to improve teaching quality. Regular evaluations were conducted to ensure the effectiveness of the implemented strategies. The research recommends strengthening coordination, improving evaluation systems, and developing sustainable programs to support productive teacher work culture.
