Abstract

Provinsi Gorontalo merupakan daerah penghasil jagung (Zea mays L.) di Indonesia, diantaranya jagung varietas unggul dan jagung lokal. Jagung lokal Gorontalo memiliki kenampakan morfologi yang hampir mirip, terutama jagung doti dan siropu. Perbedaan dari jagung lokal ini diantaranya dapat dilihat pada warna tongkol, warna batang dan bentuk biji. Secara anatomi memiliki perbedaan dalam ukuran berkas pengangkut batang, daun, dan jumlah stomata pada jagung doti dan siropu pada berbagai usia. Penelitian ini membandingkan berkas pengangkut batang, daun, tipe stomata dan jumlah stomata tanaman jagung doti dan siropu lokal Gorontalo pada berbagai usia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membandingkan berkas pengangkut batang,daun, tipe stomata dan jumlah stomata tanaman jagung doti dan siropu lokal Gorontalo pada berbagai usia. Indikator yang diamati dalam penelitian ini perbandingan berkas pengangkut batang,daun, tipe stomata dan jumlah stomata tanaman jagung doti dan siropu lokal Gorontalo pada berbagai usia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam struktur jaringan berkas pengangkut batang, daun jagung doti dan siropu pada berbagai umur yang berbeda menunjukkan adanya adaptasi dalam transportasi air, dan nutrisi. Stomata pada jagung doti dan siropu ditemukan di dikedua sisi daun adaksial (atas) dan abaksia (bawah) daun, dengan tipe stomata graminae.

Abstract

Hipertensi didefinisikan sebagai tekanan darah sistolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg. Prevalensi hipertensi di indonesia yaitu sebesar 30,8 %, untuk di provinsi Sumatera Barat mencapai 24,1%, dan di kota Padang sebanyak 168.130 orang yang menderita hipertensi. Peningkatan tekanan darah yang berkepanjangan dapat merusak pembuluh darah di organ seperti jantung, ginjal, otak, dan mata. Salah satu intervensi keperawatan nonfarmakologis untuk menurunkan tekanan darah adalah jus semangka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus semangka terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di RW 11 Kelurahan Kuranji Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Belimbing kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pre eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pre-test pos-test. Jumlah sampel 12 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji Paired t-test. Didapatkan hasil rata-rata MAP tekanan darah sebelum dilakukan intervensi jus semangka adalah 113,42 mmHg dan rata-rata MAP tekanan darah sesudah dilakukan intervensi jus semangka adalah 101,33 mmHg. Terdapat perbedaan antara MAP tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi jus semangka dengan p value =0,000 (p<0,05), berarti terdapat pengaruh pemberian jus semangka terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di RW 11 Kelurahan Kuranji Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Belimbing Kota Padang. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh pemberian jus semangka terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di RW 11 Kelurahan Kuranji Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Belimbing Kota Padang.

Abstract

Alphabet recognition is an essential skill in students' development; therefore, it requires greater attention from parents and teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of plasticine media on letter recognition in early childhood at Baiturrahman Sako Islamic Kindergarten, Palembang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design and involves 15 children as samples selected by the purposive sampling method. The instrument used is an observation sheet that has been tested for validity and reliability with valid and reliable results. The research procedure includes administering a pretest and providing treatment through plasticine-based learning. A posttest was administered to assess treatment outcomes; the data were analyzed using a t-test, which showed a significant increase in scores (p < 0.001). These results demonstrate that plasticine media affect letter recognition in children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) that is suitable for use in teaching biodiversity material to 10th grade high school students. This is a development study based on the ADDIE model, with the development stages limited to implementation through limited-scale trials. The research subjects consisted of 16 10th grade students at a high school in Gorontalo City. The validity of the learning tools was reviewed based on strong theoretical rationale and internal consistency through assessment by media experts, subject matter experts, and practitioners. The validation results showed that the media experts' scores ranged from 86% to 100%, while the subject matter experts' and practitioners' validation scores ranged from 71% to 85%, indicating that the tools were valid and feasible. Practicality was tested through the implementation of learning, student activities, and student responses. The implementation of learning was rated as excellent with a score of 81%–100%, student activities were rated as good with a score of 61%–80%, and student responses were rated as acceptable. The results of the study indicate that PBL-based E-LKPD assisted by live-worksheets is feasible to use and receives positive responses from students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of developing disciplined character through shared mealtime activities among children aged 5–6 years at RA Perwanida 2 Palembang. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to obtain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of discipline habituation at school. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation analysis of the activities. Informants were selected purposively based on their direct involvement in the shared mealtime program. Data analysis was conducted inductively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Source and method triangulation were applied to ensure the credibility and validity of the findings. The results indicate that the cultivation of disciplined character during shared mealtime has been implemented quite well through stages such as preparation before eating, compliance with mealtime rules, orderly use of eating utensils, appropriate behavior during meals, independence and responsibility, environmental awareness, time discipline, as well as religious and social attitudes. Supporting factors include teacher role modeling, consistent habituation, clear regulations, parental support, and a positive approach, while inhibiting factors include differences in rules at home and variations in children’s character and emotional conditions. These findings affirm that routine activities designed pedagogically can serve as an effective strategy in early childhood character education and provide conceptual contributions and practical implications for curriculum development in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

Rendahnya  kemampuan menulis permulaan pada anak ditandai dengan kesulitan menggengam alat tulis, meniru tulisan, serta mengenal simbol huruf dan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media rainbow salt tray terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan kelompok A TK Khalifah 27 Plus Montessori Kota Palembang. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode One – Group Pretest dan Posttest. Sample penelitian ini berjumlah 13 anak kelas A2 di TK Khalifah 27 plus Montessori Kota Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan test. analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji realibilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis t test. Berdasarkan penelitian, didapat perbedaan hasil perbedaan pretest dan posttes dimana nilai rata rata pretest 39,8 sedangkan nilai rata rata posttest 72,3. Kemudian berdasarkan perhitungan nilai ttabel untuk taraf signifikansi 0,05 % diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel ( 49,76283036 > 2,17881283 ) maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maknanya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media rainbow salt tray terhadap kemampuan menulis permulaan kelompok A TK Khalifah 27 Pluss Montessori kota Palembang.

Abstract

The low level of letter-recognition skills among young children remains a fundamental challenge in early literacy development, particularly because learning practices in Raudhatul Athfal still rely on conventional approaches that do not fully align with children’s learning characteristics. Letter recognition is an essential component of early literacy that requires engaging and developmentally appropriate learning media. In response to this issue, this study aims to determine the effect of letter-card learning media on students’ letter-recognition abilities. This quantitative research employed a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving all class A students at RA Perwanida 2 Palembang. Data were collected through observation and letter-recognition tests, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test. The findings show a significant improvement in children’s performance, indicated by an increase in the mean score from 11.48 in the pretest to 17.80 in the posttest, supported by a significance value below 0.05. These results confirm that letter-card media has a significant positive effect on enhancing children’s letter-recognition skills. The study recommends the use of letter-card media as an effective learning tool to support early literacy development in early childhood education.

Abstract

The fine motor development of early childhood is often not optimal due to a lack of variety in learning media that can stimulate hand-eye coordination and finger skills. Based on initial observations at RA Al-Hidayah Palembang, 17 children aged 5–6 years were found to have below-standard fine motor skills, especially in writing, cutting, and pasting activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of ecoprinting activities as a natural material-based learning medium on children's fine motor development. The research method used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest–Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 17 children selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, then analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase between the pretest and posttest scores, as evidenced by a t-value of −9.581, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.120, and a significance value of p < 0.001. These findings indicate that ecoprinting activities are effective in improving children's fine motor skills, especially in terms of accuracy, finger flexibility, grip strength, and visual-motor coordination. Therefore, ecoprint can be used as an alternative learning medium that is enjoyable, environmentally friendly, and capable of stimulating optimal fine motor skill development.

Abstract

Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes through the Game-Based Learning (GBL) Model for Fifth Grade Students at UPT SD Negeri 56 Palilang. Thesis. Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor I: Nasrun; Supervisor II: Ernawati. The main problem in this research is how to implement the Game-Based Learning model to improve students' Mathematics learning outcomes for fifth grade students at UPT SD Negeri 56 Palilang. This research aims to improve students' learning outcomes using the Game-Based Learning model for fifth grade students at UPT SD Negeri 56 Palilang. This type of research is classroom action research, consisting of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in two meetings. The research procedure includes planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research are 16 fourth grade students at UPT SD Negeri 56 Palilang (note: there is an inconsistency mentioning fourth grade, but the main context is fifth grade). The research results show that in the first cycle, only 10 out of 16 students (63%) completed individually and met the minimum mastery criteria (KKM) or were in the sufficient category. Classically, mastery was achieved as the average score obtained was 75. In the second cycle, 14 out of 16 students (88%) met the KKM, and classical mastery was achieved with an average score of 80, which is in the good category. Additionally, the use of the game-based learning model could improve students' learning outcomes: in the pre-cycle, 0 students got very high scores; in the first cycle, this increased to 1 student; and in the second cycle, it increased to 6 students. Based on the above research results, it can be concluded that the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at UPT SD Negeri 56 Palilang have improved through the implementation of the Game-Based Learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze school and madrasah accreditation policies in Indonesia as an instrument for ensuring educational quality and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. Accreditation is a form of external evaluation conducted by the National Accreditation Board for Schools/Madrasahs (BAN-S/M) with reference to the National Education Standards (SNP). This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods through analysis of regulations, scientific literature, and related policy documents. The results show that accreditation policies play a strategic role in improving educational quality through standardization, accountability, and transparency. The use of digital systems such as Sispena S/M also increases the efficiency and objectivity of the accreditation process. Supporting factors include commitment to quality improvement, national standardization, and encouragement of innovation in educational institutions, while inhibiting factors include limited human resources, administrative readiness, and facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, effective and sustainable accreditation management is needed to optimally improve educational quality.
