Abstract

Mathematics teachers still have to create their creativity in online and offline learning. Therefore, mathematics teachers must pay attention to the assignments given to their students. One of the higher-order thinking skills that teachers must consider is algebraic thinking. This study aims to describe students' algebraic thinking as impact of online and offline learning. Researchers want to see the difference in algebraic thinking between students who are given online mathematics learning and students who are given offline mathematics learning. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Participants in this study consisted of 30 students taken from 2 junior high schools taken in the city of Ambon. The research procedure carried out in this research process is the stage of giving questions and thinking hard, as well as the interview stage. The interview guide was made based on indicators of algebraic thinking (Herbert & Brown, 1997). The results showed that the algebraic thinking skills of students who were subjects of online learning were said to be incomplete because they experienced construction holes at the stage of looking for patterns and generalizations. In contrast, students who were subjects of offline learning had complete algebraic thinking according to the algebraic thinking process.

Abstract

Water is a vital resource for life on earth and a primary human need. This research is motivated by water management issues within the Al-Amanah Modern Islamic Boarding School, where the tank filling process is still carried out manually, often resulting in waste and the absence of water level indicators. To address this issue, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water level control system was designed. This system utilizes an ultrasonic sensor to measure the water level, a NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main controller, and the Blynk application to monitor and control the system via a smartphone. A relay is used to automatically turn the water pump on and off. Data from the sensor is processed by a microcontroller, sent to the Blynk server, and displayed in real time in the application. Test results show that the system is able to monitor and regulate water filling more efficiently, although overall performance still has room for improvement.

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses islamophobia as a threat to multiculturalism in Indonesia. To test this assumption, this article uses the theory expressed by Huntington as a multicultural clash between Western civilization and Islam. The method used is qualitative-explorative with a phenomenological approach. By analysis using Nvivo 12 Pro Tools. The results of this study state that islamophobia has significantly undermined the harmonization of diversity in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the phenomenon of mutual disbelief among fellow Muslims and bigotry between Islamic groups in Indonesia. As an offer to face the threat of division from the high influence of islamophobia, it is to present Islam as rahmatan lil alamin to maintain national and state harmonization in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the connectedness of coastal land reclamation of the Center Point of Indonesia area with qualified development (SDG's) that is not in accordance with the concept of Open Government. In this study using the approach method used by the author is a normative juridical method, namely research on the principles of law, norms, and legal rules, and this research specification is an analytical descriptive research. The results of this study explain the inequality of the percentage of land area where 68% of profits run to the private sector, with the regulation of coastal and island zoning, this can be an opportunity for coastal communities to be free from environmental conflicts and natural resources. However, if observed from the draft ranperda RZWP3K Sulsel will only make way for miners to more freely exploit the sea with sand mines for reclamation in the city of Makassar, Indonesia. This research contributes to being an evaluation material for the Makassar City government in urban governance which needs to consider the social-ecological side of development which tends to be overlooked in development in urban areas.
