The Influence of Negative Symptoms on the Social Function of People with Schizophrenia in the Community Warih Andan Puspitosari; Soewadi Soewadi; Sumarni Sumarni

Abstract: The most People with Schizophrenia (PwS) experience a decline in social function caused by various factors. Clinical symptoms of PwS affect the social function of PwS, especially negative symptoms. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of negative symptoms on the social function of people with schizophrenia in the community. This is a cross-sectional study. Subjects of the study were people with schizophrenia aged 18-56 years who will follow Community-Based Rehabilitation activities in 10 areas of puskesmas in Yogyakarta Special Region. The study was conducted in February 2017. The social function and negative symptoms of PwS were measured using a validated measuring instrument. Hypothesis test using Anova test. The subjects of the study were obtained by purposive sampling technique of 100 PwS that fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria. Subjects with a PSP score of 0-30 (poor: someone who intensively needs care and social support) of 8 people (8%) had negative PANSS score of 28.50 ± 6.78. Subjects with a score of 31-70 (moderate: someone who occasionally needs care and social support) of 57 people (57%) had negative PANSS of 20.65 ± 8.18. Subjects with a score of 71-100 (mild: someone with mild disturbance, but able to perform individual functions) of 35 subjects (35%) had negative PANSS score of 12.49 ± 5.98. PwS which has a negative value of PANSS is greater, has a worse social function. The results showed that the negative symptoms had an effect on the social function of people with schizophrenia which was statistically significant (p <0.05). Negative symptoms affect the social function of PwS. PwS that has a high negative symptom score, has a worse social function. Keywords: social function, schizophrenia, negative symptoms

Abstract : A phenomenon seen recently about the use of social media that affects the intensity of student learning Such as are playing mobile phone, accesing social media and updating the status or uploading the photos to the social media while the learning prosess is done and more often access social media than learning. This study aims to find out: 1) The types of social media they use, 2) The description of the intensity of accessing social media, 3) The purpose of the use of social media by students, 4) description of student learning intensity of social media users. This was a quantitative descriptive research design. The population of the research was all students whose using social media at MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. Then, in determining the sample, the researcher used saturated sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 92 students. In collecting the data the researcher used questionnaires with likert scale. In analysing the data the researcher use percentage technique. Based on the research findings, the results showed: 1) The types of social media used by many students was whatsapp, 2) The intensity of accessing social media is the students often access social media because of their interest to obtain information and to found out friends, 3) The purpose of using social media in school was to communicate , 4) The intesity of students learning whose using social media is more than half the students are still motivated to learn and remain excited school.Key words : Learning Intensity, Social Media

Color blindness is a condition in which certain colors can not be distinguished, and most often caused by a hereditary disease. The purpose of this study to determine the prevalence of color blindness on prospective students who enrolled in the University Tadulako. Data collection was performed by means of color-blind investigation on every applicant that comes a medical examination at the Polyclinic Bungamputi Tadulako University. From the results, the prevalence of color blindness on prospective new students Tadulako University is 1.27% consisting of male and female 0.87% 0.40%. Key words: Color blindness, prevalensi.

Penelitian ini berjudul Identifikasi Budaya Organisasi dan Keterampilan Manajemen Untuk Memelihara Eksistensi Usaha Kreatif Batik Jambi di Kota Jambi. Objek penelitian yaitu para pengusaha batik yang berada di Kota jambi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 20 unit usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Cameron and Quinn yang dikenal dengan Competing Value Framework (CVF) dengan dua pengukuran yaitu Organizational Assessment Culture Instrument (OCAI) untuk mengukur profil budaya, dan Management Skills Assessment Instrumen (MSAI) untuk mengukur kompetensi manajerial para manajemen. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tipe budaya yang ingin ditingkatkan proporsinya adalah tipe budaya Adhocracy dan budaya Market yaitu masingmasing bertambah sebesar 3,42 dan 8,86. Perubahan pada proporsi tipe budaya organisasi usaha kreatif pengrajin batik secara umum memperlihatkan bahwa tipe budaya yang diharapkan akan mendominasi adalah tipe Budaya Adhocracy dan Budaya Market. Untuk Profil Keterampilan Manajemen ditemukan bahwa kegiatan usaha batik di Kota Jambi, para manajemen memiliki kecenderungan melakukan keempat profil budaya, baik budaya yang bersifat Clan, Adhocracy, Market, dan Hierarchy.

AbstractÂ Geometry is a branch of mathematics that is taught in school, from elementary school, high school and college. Student Mathematics Education Kuningan University in the course Geometry 3D which gained less than satisfactory achievements in the course of the geometry 3D. The ability visual thinking and spatial thinking affect learners' achievements in learning the geometry. Authors interested in diagnosing the difficulties Student Mathematics Education of Kuningan University in the course Geometry 3D through Ability Test of Visual-Spatial Thinking. The purpose of this study is to diagnose visual-spatial thinking abilities Student of Kuningan University and describe efforts to improve student results in the course of the geometry 3D. Based on the exposure of the work about the ability of visual-spatial thinking and discussion it can be concluded that: a) The ability of visual-spatial thinking mathematics education student Kuningan University is still low, especially students who are capable of moderate and low. Students are still experiencing difficulties in resolving problems related to the concept of a perpendicular line and projections; distance of points, lines and areas; as well as the angle between the line and the field; b) The ability of visual-spatial thinking is a skill that must be developed in studying the geometry 3D, one of the low result of learning the geometry 3D is due to the ability of visual-spatial thinking is still low; c) One effort to improve visual-spatial thinking ability of students is learning the geometry of space through problem-based learning with assisted software GeoGebra.Keywords: Visual-Spatial Thinking Ability, Geometri 3D

This study aims to describe students' self-regulated learning level and students' mathematical connection ability for each self-regulated learning level. The topic used is quadrilateral. This is qualitative research with descriptive method. Study took place at Desa Ancaran Kec./ Kab. Kuningan, West Java, with subjects consisting of six seventh grade SMP/MTs students. Data is collected using questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. Questionnaire and mathematical connection ability tests were given to all six subjects. After collecting data, analysis is performed with steps: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result shows that out of six subjects, 1 student is classified high in self-regulated learning category and 5 other students are classified average in self-regulated learning category. Out of three selected subjects, 1 student with high level of self-regulated learning has connection ability in good category, while 2 students with average level of self-regulated learning have mathematical connections in sufficient category. Student with high level of self-regulated learning can fulfill three of the five indicators of mathematical connection ability, 1 student with average self-regulated learning can fulfill two indicators, and 1 student with other self-regulated learning can fulfill one indicator of mathematical connection.Keywords: Mathematical Connection Ability, Self-Regulated Learning, Quadrilateral

This article examines the crelation between mathematical connection ability and self-regulated learning (SRL) mathematics students through the Learning Cycle 5E (LC 5E). In this case, the mathematical connection ability include aspects (1) Understanding the relationships between concepts or mathematical rules; (2) Implement the relationships between concepts or mathematical rules with topics other disciplines; and (3) Understanding the relationships between concepts or rules of mathematics with applications in everyday life. Indicators SRL mathematics include: (1) Demonstrate initiative in learning mathematics; (2) Diagnosing needs in learning mathematics; (3) Setting a target / goal of learning; (4) To monitor, regulate and control study; (5) Seeing difficulty as a challenge; (6) Utilize and search for relevant learning resources; (7) Choose and implement learning strategies; (8) Evaluate learning process and results; and (9) Self efficacy. LC 5E is a learning model that consists of five stages: (1) engagement, (2) exploration, (3) explanation, (4) elaboration, and (5) evaluation. This article is based on research conducted on 35 students of class VII one junior high school in West Bandung regency. The results show there is corelation between mathematical connection ability and SRL mathematics students. Students with high mathematical connection ability tend to have high SRL mathematics too and students with low mathematical connections ability tend to have low SRLmathematics too.Keywords: mathematical connection ability, self-regulated learning, learning cycle 5E

The objectives of this research were find out the information about the factors that motivates and attracted the tourist to visit the Dempo mountain object place in south Pagar Alam district of Pagar Alam city of south Sumatera province in 2011. The point of this investigation in this research were to escape from the saturation, refreshing of the body (relaxation), searching the entertainment/game, romantic atmosphere, beautiful place, climate condition, accessibility and facility. The method that was used in this research was descriptive explorative method. The population in this research was the tourists who come to the Dempo mountain object place. The researcher took the sample were 60 respondents and the selected of the sample accidental sampling technique. In collecting the data the researcher used observation, documentation, and structure interview. In analyzing the data, the researcher used percentage analysis. Based on the result data ananysis it can be concluded that: There are 49 respondents who stated that they want to escape from the saturation was the factor that motivates them to visit Dempo mountain object place. There are 47 respondents or 78 % stated that they come to the object place for the reason to refresh the body (relaxation). There are 34 respondents or 57% stated that they want to come to the Dempo mountain object place for the reason to play the game. There are 36 respondents stated that for the reason to find the romantic atmosphere was the factor that motivates the tourist to visit Dempo mountain object place. There are 57 respondents or 95% stated that the factor that attracted the tourist to visit the Dempo mountain object place because of the beautiful of nature. There are 55 respondents or 92% stated that that the factor that attracted the tourist to visit the Dempo Mountain object place because the climate condition. There are 44 respondents or 73% stated that because of the easy of the accessibility was the factor that attracted the tourist to visit the Dempo mountain object place. And there are 46 respondents or 77%) stated that the complete enough facility was the factor that attracted the tourist to visit the Dempo mountain object place. Background: Self-harming behavior (SHB) is an iceberg phenomenon commonly occurred in both normal population and patients with mental illness. This behavior showed an increase in trend and may develop into suicidal behavior if not treated properly. Therefore an effort in screening and prevention of self-harm is necessary to prevent early deaths caused by suicide. Currently Indonesian version of self-harm screening instrument has not been developed yet.Purpose: Conducting validity and reliability test of Indonesian version of self-harm questionnaire.Method: This research was a descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional design. We recruited 110 psychiatric outpatients from Bantul Hospital Yogyakarta (n=110). SHB was measured using Indonesian version of Self Harm Inventory (SHI). Internal validation was tested using Aiken's Validity Index (AVI) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). Reliability was tested using Cronbach Alpha (CA). Statistical significance was defined as p<0,05.Result: The respondents consisted of 57 men (51.8%) and 53 women (48.2%). Twenty four respondents had done more than 5 items of SHB. AVI value ranged from 0.83 to 0.97 which considered good. PPMC obtained 21 valid items with correlation coefficient >0.25 (p <0.05). Item number 22 was excluded because coefficient value was <0.25. Rresult of Keizer Meyers Oklin was 0,686 and Barlett Test of Spherecity 0,000 (p <0,05). CA was 0.831 which means very good.Conclusion: Indonesian version of Self-Harm Inventory is a valid and reliable screening tool against self-harm behavior in clinical setting.

NEW CASES OF PULMONARY TB ARE STILL HIGH ENOUGH AT PEKALONGAN CITY, INCIDENT OF DROP OUT/DEFAULT ALSO STILL HIGH (17,3%) BECAUSE NATIONAL TARGETS SHOULD BE UNDER 5%. THE NUMBER OF RECOVERY STILL UNDER NATIONAL TARGETS TOO BECAUSE IT LACKS OF 85%.PAST MEDICAL TREATMENT OF PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS CAN CAUSE KLIEN DROP OUT. TO SOLVE THAT PROBLEM, IT IS NEEDED PLACE OF HEALTH SERVICES THAT GIVES SERVICES APPROPRIATE WITH NECESSITY AND PATIENT HOPE, SO PATIENT FEEL SATISFY AND DISPOSED WILL FOLLOW MEDICAL PROGRAM THAT TO BE PERFORMED. THE AIM OF THIS RESEARCH WAS TO ANALYZE FACTORS THAT INFLUENTIAL TOWARD PATIENT SATISFACTION ON MEDICAL SERVICES OF PULMONARY TB AT BKPM PEKALONGAN CITY. THIS RESEARCH WAS DESCRIPTIVE ANALYTIC WITH CROSS SECTIONAL DESIGN. POPULATION OF THIS STUDY WAS ALL OF PATIENTS WHO SUFFERED FROM TBC (POSITIVE BTA). THEY WERE PERFORMING MEDICAL PROGRAM OF TBC AT BKPM PEKALONGAN CITY WITH TOTAL NUMBER OF 80 PERSONS. COLLECTING DATA WAS DONE WITH QUESTIONNAIRE. DATA WERE ANALYZED WITH CHI SQUARE TEST AND LOGISTIC REGRESSION. THE RESULT OF THIS RESEARCH SHOWED THAT THERE WERE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, KNOWLEDGE AND PATIENT’S ATTITUDE ON MEDICAL SERVICES OF PULMONARY TB AT BKPM PEKALONGAN CITY. RESULT OF MULTIVARIATE SHOWED THE MOST FACTOR INFLUENTIAL WAS ATTITUDE (OR = 19,801) AND EDUCATION (OR = 6,637). IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR BKPM PEKALONGAN CITY TO INCREASE SERVICES ON GIVING EXPLANATION, VELOCITY, SANITATION, AND COMFORT FOR MEDICAL SERVICES OF PULMONARY TB IN ORDER TO INCREASE PATIENT SATISFACTION.
