Abstract

The “Math Adventures” program aims to improve the numeracy literacy of grade 4 students of SDN 02 Mancasan through a Problem-Based Learning approach. The program was designed using mixed methods, integrating pre-test, post-test, and interviews to evaluate its effectiveness. Interactive learning media such as flashcards, digital quizzes, and multiplication boards were used over three sessions to help students understand numerical concepts in a fun way. The results showed a significant increase in the student’s average score, from 70 in the pre-test to 83 in the post-test. In addition to improving their scores, the program also increased students’ motivation to learn mathematics and reduced their anxiety about the subject. The PBL approach effectively creates relevant, sustainable learning experiences that encourage critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. With interactive and collaborative methods, the program facilitates students’ understanding of numerical concepts and provides training teachers can adopt to create more engaging learning. This program is expected to be an innovative model that can be applied in other primary schools to holistically improve students’ numeracy literacy.

Abstract

The Interview About Instances (TAI).

Abstract

In Indonesia, several training pieces have been conducted to develop HOTS-based science questions for elementary school teachers. However, few studies examine how elementary school teachers developed HOTS-based science questions. Hence, the current study is a case study that aims to analyze HOTS-based science questions developed by elementary school teachers in Indonesia. This study employed a descriptive-analytical method by analyzing 60 HOTS-based science questions developed by elementary school teachers in Boyolali, Indonesia, on February 22, 2020. This study involved two raters from one of Indonesia's universities, who are experts in assessing learning for elementary school level to assess the questions. The aspects that are assessed are aspects of conformity with HOTS questions criteria, conformity with the criteria of thinking ability of elementary school students, and conformity with the quality of good questions. This study's findings show that many problems do not meet the first aspect, especially at non-algorithmic points, multiple ways, and multiple interpretations. Next, in the second aspect, most of the question does not use illustration to strengthen the developed question's information. The third aspect is a relatively fulfilled aspect by most developed questions. However, only a few developed questions are judged not to meet this aspect. Hopefully, this study's findings can be an evaluation material for policymakers in education to increase the training quality of HOTS-based science questions for elementary school level in Indonesia.

The purpose of this study is to identify the development of learning media Bikabepo Wabidaka in elementary schools. The research method used is Research & Development using Borg & Gall development procedures which include: potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The instrument used is a media feasibility validation questionnaire sheet. The results obtained, it can be said that the Bikabepo Wabidaka learning media in civic education lessons that have been developed deserves to be tested further to see the effectiveness in learning and building student character in elementary schools.

To reveal the problems in research using a qualitative descriptive approach. For data collection needs, the types of instruments used are interviews and observations. Researchers use triangulation techniques and sources to test the validity of the data. Research an this is done using interactive data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of strengthening the character of caring for the environment through ecoprint artwork in elementary schools in general, it can be concluded that strengthening the character of caring for the environment through ecoprint artwork has a success percentage of 88.32%.
