Students' low interest is the most common problem in online learning. As a solution, we need media that is attractive and easy to use. This study aims to (1) develop electronic handouts on the Ecosystem topic for class 10th-grade senior high school for online learning, (2) determine the feasibility of handouts, (3) determine teacher perceptions of handouts, and (4) determine student perceptions after using handouts in learning. This study uses a 4D development model. The subjects of this study were 10th-grade high school students consisting of small groups (6 students) and large groups (26 students). The results of this study indicate that the validity of the material reaches a percentage of 90% in the "very good" category, the validity of the media reaches a percentage of 95% in the " very good " category, the teacher's perception results in the percentage of 90.83% in the "very good" category, the percentage of satisfaction is average. The small group average was 89.72% in the "very satisfied" category, and the average satisfaction percentage for the large group was 90.12% in the "very satisfied" category. So it can be concluded that electronic handouts can be used in online learning. This research handout can be used as an alternative learning resource to increase students' interest in learning.

This study aims to develop dermatoglyphic practicum guide based on guided inquiry and to determine students' creative thinking skills in using the practicum guide. This type of research is Research and development or R&D with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were students of biology education at Jambi University who had contracted genetics courses and genetics practicum, namely students of the 2018 batch. The data analysis techniques in this study were quantitative and qualitative. The results of media validation and material validation showed an increase after revision with a media validation value of 71.60% (good) and material validation 89,05% (very good). The results of small group trials and large group trials of student perceptions of the practicum guide obtained a percentage of 84,82% % with (very good) and 89,24% for large group trials (very good). The use of practicum guides can improve students' creative thinking skills with the N-gain test score of 0.73 including the high category. Guided inquiry-based dermatoglyphic material practicum through the paired sample t-test, it is known that there is a significant effect of the use of practicum guides on students' creative thinking skills.

Panduan praktikum perkembangan hewan yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi belum menggunakan sintaks inkuiri sehingga mahasiswa kurang aktif saat melakukan praktikum terutama dalam pemecahan masalah dan kreatif dalam belajar mandiri. Pengembangan panduan praktikum penting untuk dilakukan karena dapat membuat mahasiswa lebih aktif dalam praktikum dan pembaruan informasi dari panduan praktikum sebelumnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon mahasiswa terhadap panduan praktikum perkembangan hewan berbasis inkuiri pada materi metamorfosis yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Four D) (define, design, development, and disseminate). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari angket validasi materi, media, dan respon mahasiswa. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi diperoleh skor persentase sebesar 91,3% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli media diperoleh skor sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil ujicoba pada mahasiswa skala kecil diperoleh skor sebesar 84,73% dengan kategori “layak” dan hasil ujicoba pada mahasiswa skala besar diperoleh skor sebesar 85,7% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan praktikum perkembangan hewan berbasis inkuiri pada materi metamorfosis dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam praktikum perkembangan hewan.

Learning devices play an important role in directing the implementation and learning process. Before being used, all learning tools must be properly prepared according to the needs of the implementation of the learning model. The implementation of the flipped classroom learning model is one of the expected learning alternatives and motivates students to learn optimally and expects that student learning outcomes can also increase. Prior to implementation, it is necessary to develop better devices and conduct a feasibility analysis of the developed devices. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jambi City. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using data collection techniques in the form of closed questionnaires. The research aspects included syllabus validation, lesson plans, pretest and posttest question sheets, worksheets and student learning motivation questionnaires. Data analysis uses the percentage comparison between the score obtained and the maximum score. The results of the validator's assessment of the syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, pretest and posttest questions, as well as the student learning motivation questionnaire were 82.25%; 83.25%; 80%; 86% and 86% in the "decent" category. The results of the test questions showed a validity value of 0.78 and a reliability of 0.88 which could mean that the instrument was declared fit for use. The results of the validation stated that all the flipped classroom model learning tools developed could be used in the learning process. The use of flipped classroom learning tools can increase student learning motivation in the experimental class from 73.60 to 91.36 while students' cognitive learning outcomes increase from 28.76 to 91.04.

Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis Flipped Classroom (FC) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) desain nonequivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi tahun ajaran 2020/2021 berjumlah 44 siswa. Penentuan sampel digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest serta kuesioner kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Instrumen digunakan setelah dilakukan validasi oleh tim ahli. Berdasarkan analisis data, bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis Flipped Classroom memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa lebih tinggi pada implementasi model PjBL daripada kelas konvensional. Kelas PjBL berbasis FC diperoleh rata-rata nilai adalah 83,13 dengan standar deviasi 11,44, sedangkan pada kelompok konvensional diperoleh rata-rata nilai 73,40 dengan standar deviasi 13,15. Hasil uji menunjukkan thitung = 3,14 dan ttabel = 2,02 (thitung ttabel) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05.

Bagi guru menulis Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) adalah kewajiban. Dengan PTK guru dapat meneliti dan mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berkualitass. Namun sayangnya, guru-guru di SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi masih memiliki kekurangan dalam menulis PTK. Berdasarkan observasi penyebabnya adalah waktu untuk menulis yang masih kurang, mereka sibuk mengajar, ada juga yang mengalami kendalam dalam Menyusun instrument pengambilan data. Maka dari itu tim PPM FKIP Universitasa Jambi akan mengadakan workshop penelitian Tindakan kelas Bagi guru-guru SMAN 11 Muarro Jambi. Metode pelakasanaan kegiatan meliputi pemaparan Langkah-langkah Menyusun PTK, Menyusun instrument dan praktik Menyusun PTK. Kegiatan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan dan apabila ada yang masih membutuhkan bimbingan maka akan dibimbing secara berkala.

Panduan praktikum yang digunakan pada praktikum perkembangan hewan belum mengarahkan mahasiswa untuk melaksanakan praktikum secara mandiri dan melakukan langkah-langkah keterampilan ilmiah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari panduan praktikum perkembangan hewan berbasis project based learning dalam materi analisis spermatozoa. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D dengan tahapan define, design, develop dan disseminate. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi materi dan media. Hasil validasi materi diperoleh skor 84,35% dengan kriteria sangat baik, hasil validasi media diperoleh skor 88% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa panduan praktikum ini layak untuk diujicobakan oleh mahasiswa dalam Matakuliah Praktikum Perkembangan Hewan.The practicum guide used in the animal development practicum has not directed students to carry out practicum independently and take steps of scientific skills. This study aims to determine the feasibility of a project-based learning-based animal development practicum guide in the analysis of spermatozoa. This research is Research and development with a 4D development model with the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collection using material and media validation questionnaires. The results of material validation obtained a score of 84.35% with very good criteria, the results of media validation obtained a score of 88% with very good criteria. These result indicate that this practicum guide is worthy of being tested by students in the Animal Development Practicum Course.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan PLP FKIP Universitas Jambi di SMA PGRI Jambi. Metode peletian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa biologi yang melaksanakan PLP di SMA PGRI Jambi. Analisis data (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pelaksanaan PLP di SMA PGRI Jambi cukup baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah proses pelaksanaan PLP di SMA PGRI Jambi belum maksimal. Ada sebagian yang sudah sesuai panduan ada yang belum sesuai panduan tetapi masih mengikuti gaya PPL. Adapun yang sudah terlaksana adalah mengenal lingkungan sekolah, kegiatan administrasi pendidikan, penyusunan silabus, RPP, menentukan metode, media dan model pembelajaran, namun contoh dari guru pamong tidak ada. Kegiatan penilaian, analisis nilai, penentuan jam efektif, program tahunan dan program semester tidak diajarkan. Menjadi masukan PLP Kedepan adalah perlunya kelas microteaching, penambahan waktu dan penguasaan kurikulum.

Mangrove area is a type of ecosystem with unique characteristics. Mangrove ecosystems are located in brackish waters which are a meeting place between land and sea. Mangroves have an ecological function as a habitat for various types of fauna. In addition, many mangrove areas have been developed as ecotourism areas which have impacts on the environment such as the risk of damage to existing natural resources and the survival of one of the fauna that makes up the mangrove ecosystem, namely Crustaceans. The purpose of this study was to identify the diversity of Crustaceans of the Decapoda Order in the mangrove area of Tungkal 1 Village, Tanjung Jabung Barat. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Sampling was carried out exploratively using purposive sampling technique. Sampling was carried out at three stations using four types of fishing gear, namely spread nets, gill nets, sondong and togok carried out 3 repetitions on different days. The research results obtained found 15 species from 8 families including 10 species of shrimp and 5 species of crabs. The diversity index obtained as a whole is in the medium category and dominance index at each station is included in the low category.

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study is how are the differences in students' critical thinking skills in physics subjects using discovery and problem-based learning models at Madrasah Aliyah Laboratory in Jambi City. Methodology: The research design used by researchers is a quantitative research type of quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design, with a total sample of 56 students using a total sampling technique. The instrument in this study used a test with a Cronbach alpha of 0.919. The data analysis used includes descriptive and inferential statistics. Main Findings: Based on the data analysis and discussion above, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills in physics subjects in static electricity material are in a good category. This indicates that the application of discovery learning models and problem-based learning can improve the thinking skills of critical students. This is reinforced by testing the hypothesis through an independent sample t-test that there is a significant difference between the use of the two models in improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in physics lessons on static electricity. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research has a novelty, especially in cognitive, namely critical thinking skills, which can be improved with a scientific approach, especially using discovery learning models and problem-based learning.
