Abstract

The right use of technology can enhance the improvement of operational processes. However, the success rate of the use of this technology is inseparable from the competence of information technology. Therefore, the company should facilitate information technology competency improvement. A challenging question is whether the managers of service, manufacturing, and retail industry must focus on the same information technology competency, or they should focus on difference ones, considering the industry’s uniqueness. This study uses a survey method. The data obtained were 448 respondents and then processed using ANOVA and cross tabulation. The results showed that there were significant differences in those three components of information technology competency between manufacturing and retail-service. This is due to differences in market development strategy, such as companies needing new branches to reach new markets or companies labor intensive or not.

Abstract

This research is a study of students' listening skills in the Indonesian language content of the Legend of Putri Niwer Gading which is still very low. The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in the results of listening skills (posttest) for students who used the Podcast learning media and students who used the Strip Story learning media for class V SDN 1 Awirarangan. This research method used quasi-experimental with a posttest-pretest control group research design, with research subjects consisting of 21 students in class VA as the control class, while class VC as the experimental class with 23 students. The instrument used in this study was a written test in the form of an essay. Data analysis was used in the experimental class and control class manually using the t test formula and the n-goin test formula. This is shown from the results of the t test analysis that the tcount is greater than ttable and n-gain test which shows an increase in the moderate category. So thus, the conclusion of this study can be stated that there are differences in students' listening skills between classes using Podcast learning media and classes using Strip Story Learning Media and there is an increase in students' listening skills between classes using Podcast learning media and classes using learning media Strip Story in class V SDN 1 Awirarangan

Abstract

Accreditation is a form of assessment or evaluation of the quality of education, both at the level of study programme and higher education institutions, conducted by independent organizations or bodies external to the universities. BAN-PT is one such external agency responsible for accrediting higher education institutions in Indonesia. However, many universities encounter challenges during the accreditation process, such as the absence of a monitoring system and data integration in the preparation of some documents, which are essential for accreditation. To address this issue, researchers have recognized the need to design and build a system that can aid in the preparation and monitoring of accreditation forms. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming model, which adopts the agile concept as the core of application development. The Extreme Programming model consists of four key activities, namely system planning, system design, code writing, and system testing. Based on the black box testing results, the developed system was found to operate as intended. Based on the benchmark results for each aspect of the UEQ, Attractiveness has a value of 1.69 with the good category, Perspicuity has a value of 1.57 with the above average category, Efficiency has a value of 2.11 with the excellent category, Dependability has a value of 1.68 with the good category, Stimulation has a value of 1.29 with the above average category, and Novelty has a value of 0.86 with the above average category.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) Find out what the meaning of parenting style management is, and character (2) Find out how parental care management is implemented in character building for class XI students at SMA Putra Indonesia (3) Find out what obstacles are faced in implementing parenting style management parents in forming class XI students at SMA Putra Indonesia (4) know how to overcome obstacles in implementing parenting style management in forming class XI students at SMA Putra Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method. Based on the results of this research, the author concludes: (1) Theories regarding the management of parenting patterns and the formation of student character are relevant so that a manager must be able to build student character such as the Sundanese concept which uses the basis of parenting, lih asih, silih asuh. (2) The empirical conditions of managing parenting patterns are still relevant to the attitudes and behavior of many students which are still not good, even though good parenting patterns at school are not necessarily able to form good student characters. (3) The obstacle faced in forming the character of students is the parenting style of parents who do not approach and understand the character of students. (4) Overcoming obstacles to parenting patterns in shaping students' character can be done by protecting the family from various deviant behavior and preventing the family from falling into undesirable things.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui Apa pengertian manajemen pola asuh, dan karakter (2) Mengetahui Bagaimana penerapan manajemen pengasuhan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter siswa kelas XI di SMA Putra Indonesia (3) Mengetahui Apa saja kendala yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan manajemen pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk siswa kelas XI di SMA Putra Indonesia (4) mengetahui Bagaimana mengatasi kendala dalam menerapkan manajemen pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk siswa kelas XI di SMA Putra Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan: (1) Teori-teori tentang pengelolaan pola asuh dan pembentukan karakter peserta didik relevan sehingga seorang pengelola harus mampu membangun karakter peserta didik seperti konsep sunda yang menggunakan dasar asuh, lih asih, silih asuh. (2) Kondisi empiris pengelolaan pola asuh orang tua masih relevan dengan sikap dan perilaku banyak peserta didik yang masih kurang baik meskipun pola asuh di sekolah yang baik belum tentu mampu membentuk karakter peserta didik yang baik. (3) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik adalah pada pola asuh orang tua yang kurang mendekatkan dan memahami karakter peserta didik. (4) Untuk mengatasi kendala pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan menjaga keluarga dari berbagai perilaku menyimpang dan menjaga keluarga agar tidak terjerumus pada hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.

Abstract

Educational philosophy is an integral part of the principal or foundation that aims to promote education quality. Islamic education is the focus for most Muslims, so it is necessary to develop the values or philosophical principles of Islamic education itself. This study aims to determine the philosophy of Islamic education and the basic foundations of Islamic educational institutions. The research method uses qualitative with a literature study approach, emphasizing secondary sources obtained from books, journals and official reports. The study results explain that education requires a strong foundation or foundation for the majority of Muslims through Islamic educational institutions. It needs to be thoughtfully developed based on Islamic religious knowledge from the Al-Qur'an and hadith; then, Islamic scientific progress will progress. Building a philosophical orientation of Islamic education must pay attention to the concept of the growth of knowledge strongly driven by the Al-Qur'an and hadith as inspiration in achieving competitive Islamic educational institutions. Efforts to instil educational philosophy in Islamic educational institutions are required to guide and investigate knowledge from its source sincerely. The framework in Islamic educational institutions must contain the principles of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Manajemen Pendidikan terhadap Mutu Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Hasyimiyah Cilegon dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Fath Cilegon, untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pendidikan Berbasis Nilai terhadap Mutu Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Hasyimiyah Cilegon dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Fath Cilegon, untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Manajemen Pendidikan dan Pendidikan Berbasis Nilai terhadap Mutu Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Hasyimiyah Cilegon dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs.) Al-Fath Cilegon. Metode penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa. Menentukan besarnya ukuran sampel dari dua sekolah, dipakai rumus Slovin. Data penelitian ini diambil melalui angket, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi parsial dengan menggunakan product moment = 0,20. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel X1 (Manajemen Pendidikan), dan variabel X2 (Pendidikan Berbasis Nilai) dengan variabel Y (Mutu Pendidikan) berada di antara (0,00 – 0,20) yang berarti terdapat korelasi, akan tetapi itu sangat lemah atau sangat rendah sehingga korelasi itu diabaikan atau dianggap tidak ada korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Selanjutnya nilai thitung sebesar = 1,263 lebih kecil dari ttabel = 2,037 (1,263 < 2,037) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,216 > 0,05 yang interpretasinya adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh antara variabel X1 (Manajemen Pendidikan) dengan variabel Y (Mutu Pendidikan). nilai thitung sebesar = 0,778 lebih kecil dari ttabel = 2,037 (0,778 < 2,037) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,442 < 0,05 yang interpretasinya adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh antara variabel X2 (Pendidikan Berbasis Nilai) dengan variabel Y (Mutu Pendidikan).

Abstract

This research objective was to analyse the influence of special supervising teachers' classroom management on creating inclusive student learning motivation in urban areas. This research used quantitative methods with a case study approach. A sampling of special supervisor teachers for inclusive classes in Serang City or urban areas. Data analysis used hypothesis testing with SPSS software version 23.00 with correlation between variables. The research results showed a positive influence between the class management of the class supervisor on creating inclusive student learning motivation with an influence contribution of 70.9%. The results showed a significant influence between accompanying teachers' classroom management and student learning motivation in inclusive elementary schools throughout urban areas. The research implied that the better the accompanying teacher's classroom management, the higher contribution to inclusive student learning motivation and vice versa; the less good the accompanying teacher's classroom management, the lower the creation of inclusive student learning motivation.

Abstract

Pengetahuan adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam kemajuan bangsa. Salah satu bidang yang menggunakan pengetahuan dalam bidangnya adalah perguruan tinggi. Dari perguruan tinggi diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai aspek penggerak perguruan tinggi. Pada penelitian ini akan diteliti mengenai bagaimana perspektif dosen dan tenaga kependidikan pada praktik manajemen pengetahuan (Knowledge Management Practices/KMP) terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif (Innovative Work Behavior/IWB). Akan diteliti apakah pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki dosen dan tenaga kependidikan turut berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif yang dapat berupa inovasi untuk mengembangkan cata pembelajaran atau cara meningkatkan pelayanan dan pemberian jasa kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner ke beberapa perguruan tinggi. Kuesioner terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan pada variabel KMP dan 9 pertanyaan pada variabel IWB. Responden yang mengisi kuesioner ini adalah dosen dan tenaga kependidikan yang masih aktif bekerja pada perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada 14 universitas didapatkan bahwa dosen dan tenaga kependidikan berpendapat bahwa KMP tidak berpengaruh terhadap IWB pada perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions have an important role as the main factor in social change, where the entire life system rests on educational values as the basic foundation. A significant instrument in education is social capital, manifested in the role of human resources with a multifunctional approach that makes the institutions of life become. The study aims to determine the role of Islamic educational institutions in achieving social change with social capital instruments using a structural-functional theory approach. The research method uses qualitative research with a literature study approach sourced from books and journals related to educational and social institutions. The study results illustrate that Parson's paradigm explains structural-functional theory with distinguishing features, adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency (AGIL), applied in Islamic educational institutions by reconstructing the roles of educational components and social groups. Strengthening Islamic educational institutions through social capital in which social change occurs will be created through components of trust, networks, norms, and leadership that provide broader benefits for Muslim life. The implications of the research show that structural-functional implementation will provide social change with existing social capital so that the use of Islamic educational institutions serves as a means to involve the younger generation in acquiring knowledge, changing behaviour, and achieving proficiency in the principles governing community participation.
