Abstract

Prestasi akademik adalah cerminan dari usaha yang telah dilakukan selama pembelajaran. Keberhasilan dalam belajar salah satunya dapat ditentukan oleh keterlibatan akademik seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh keterlibatan akademik terhadap prestasi akademik. Untuk itu, metode systematic literature review menjadi pilihan logis untuk mendapatkan hasil yang komprehensif mengenai topik yang diteliti. Sumber data utama berasal dari artikel-artikel penelitian tentang keterlibatan akademik terhadap prestasi akademik mulai dari tahun 2017 sampai tahun 2022 dengan total sebanyak 8 artikel yang berhasil terseleksi sesuai dengan topik yang diteliti. Dari artikel-artikel tersebut, diketahui bahwa 6 artikel menyatakan keterlibatan akademik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik, 1 artikel menyatakan adanya pengaruh tidak langsung dan 1 artikel menyatakan bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan keterlibatan akademik terhadap prestasi akademik yang dicapai. Abstract

The number of children with special needs which tend to increase have not been followed by the enhancement on people's knowledge and understanding on their developmental characteristics. Discrimination upon these children come not only from other people in their environment but also often from their own families. In this stressful situation, they are possibly having a lot of difficulties in following educational program and enhancing their academic, social and other life skills. The important aspect that makes some of them adaptive in facing adversity or stressful condition is resilience. The aim of this study was describing family protective factors that can be used as the basis for helping children with special needs increasing their resilience. This study used qualitative approach. Participants consist of four families that have child with special needs. All of those families reside in Surabaya. Data were collected through interview with each family member, observation with general guidance and field notes. Thematic analysis was used as data analysis technique. Eight protective factors found as the result of this study: (1) Family independence; (2) Patience and sincerity in experiencing the problems; (3) The persistence; (4) Positive communication; (5) Togetherness and support among family member; (6) Other social support; (7) Activeness in accessing information and openness to situational changes; (8) Similarity positive respond between parents. The paper concludes with a discussion of these findings, as well as explanation about steps that can be taken by parents in strengthening the protective factors, which will support childrens with special needs to increase their resilience.

Abstract

Previous research (Hendriani, Retnowati, and Koesbardiati, 2011) has found that coping is the mechanism that determines adaptation and attainment of individual resilience in changing conditions become persons with disabilities. Among the active coping sequences identified, the individual's positive meaning of crithical events raises a motivational effect and reinforces the individual to be able to adapt to new life as a person with a disability. This study aimed to follow up the findings by exploring deeper positive meaning of participants who meet resilient criteria. A qualitative phenomenological approach was used to achieve that goal. The study participants were four of eight individuals with disability that also participated in the previous research (Hendriani, Retnowati, dan Koesbardiati, 2011). Researchers used in-depth interviews to extract data, and analyzed them with interpretive phenomenological analysis techniques. The results showed that each participant has a typical positive meaning to the event that made them experience disability. The meaning raises the other positive coping strategies that enable the individual to rise from significant psychological pressure, accept the disability and become empowered.

Abstract

Self-advocacy is one of the personal factors essential for students with disabilities in college obtaining satisfactory achievements. This meta-analysis proves the strength of the relationship between self-advocacy and one of the success parameters of students with disabilities, namely academic achievement. It followed the guidelines from PRISMA. A literature search was conducted in four databases: Scopus, Web of Science, Psychnet, and Proquest, and 328 articles were obtained. Finally, six articles remained for further analysis. Based on the analysis using the DerSimonian and Laird (DL) estimator model, the estimated effect size was 0.29 (p<0.001; 95% CI=0.20 – 0.38). Although the results of the meta-analysis show a significant positive correlation between variables, there are things that need to be considered in terms of heterogeneity and the risk of publication bias.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the many difficulties and problems faced by parents of children with disabilities in accompanying their children to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Difficulties with learning assistance faced by parents of children with disabilities, if not immediately addressed, will have long-lasting impacts and give rise to other problems, such as children becoming increasingly hampered in mastering learning goals, lack of discipline, and the emergence of various new habits and behavior patterns in children that are less adaptive. The participants in this research were 20 parents of children with disabilities, consisting of 8 mothers of children with intellectual disabilities and 12 mothers of children with an autism spectrum disorder. This research approach is a qualitative case study. The data mining method uses focused group discussion, observation, and online interviews. The collected data was analyzed using inductive thematic analysis. The results of data analysis found 14 themes regarding the steps taken by parents in assisting children's learning. The 14 themes were then categorized into 3 groups of assistance based on their objectives. These results can be used as a basis for formulating strategies to empower parents of children with other disabilities, in optimizing their involvement in the child's learning process.

Abstract

Studi ini merupakan narrative review mengenai temuan dari penelitian kualitatif yang mengkaji stres akademik. Penelitian kualitatif memiliki keunggulan dibanding penelitian kuantitatif untuk menggali kedalaman data seperti stressor dan cara coping yang tepat untuk permasalahan yang dihadapi, namun masih sedikit kajian stres akademik dari segi kualitatif. Hasil narrative review menunjukkan stressor apa saja yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa pada konteks bervariasi serta strategi coping yang tepat. Ini mendukung perlunya penelitian kualitatif pada kajian stres sebagai penggalian data terhadap persepsi individu terkait stres itu sendiri. Meskipun demikian kelemahan kualitatif saat ini menjadikannya metode penelitian ini sebagai komplementer dari kuantitatif.

Abstract

Pandemi Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) menimbulkan distres psikologis bagi masyarakat yang terdampak sehingga dibutuhkan adanya kesadaran terkait seperti apa distres psikologis yang ditimbulkan di masa pandemi. Studi ini merupakan tinjauan literatur dengan pendekatan sistematis yang bertujuan untuk menggali tentang ragam distres psikologis yang muncul pada masyarakat terdampak pandemi COVID-19, gejala-gejala yang ditimbulkan, serta mengenali apa saja stressor yang menimbulkan gejala-gejala tersebut. Adapun hasil dari studi ini yaitu distres psikologis yang dominan dirasakan masyarakat terdampak COVID-19 meliputi gejala kecemasan, gejala depresi, gejala stres akut, serta gejala post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Gejala-gejala distres psikologis lainnya yang dirasakan berupa perasaan kesepian, ketidakberdayaan, kemarahan, ketakutan, insomnia, penghindaran stressor, mimpi buruk, pusing, serta palpitasi. Penyebab kemunculan gejala tersebut dipicu oleh adanya stressor berupa kondisi ketidakpastian, hilangnya sense of control, ketidakberdayaan, persepsi negatif terkait kesehatan orang lain, tinggal sendirian saat menjalani karantina, tingginya risiko individu terpapar COVID-19, dekatnya jarak dengan orang yang berisiko tinggi atau penderita COVID-19, serta adanya stigmatisasi dari orang sekitar.

Abstract

Implementasi penggunaan teknologi digital pada pendidikan inklusi merupakan kebijakan yang berdasarkan prinsip kesetaraan agar anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat mengakses pendidikan sebagaimana anak tipikal lainnya di sekolah reguler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi teknologi digital yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Metode yang digunakan adalah Narrative Literature Review dengan mengkaji 14 artikel yang diperoleh dengan meninjau beberapa situs database seperti Sinta, Research Gate, dan Google Scholar. Hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan inklusif memiliki berbagai manfaat seperti peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, pembelajaran kolaboratif, dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, ada juga tantangan dan hambatan yang perlu dipertimbangkan seperti akses teknologi yang terbatas, kekhawatiran tentang dampak negatif, literasi digital yang tidak memadai di antara pendidik, dan kurangnya kebijakan pendidikan yang jelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana gambaran dari ‎pendekatan structured ‎literacy yang dikembangkan oleh International ‎Dyslexia Association (IDA) serta untuk mengetahui ‎efektivitasnya dalam ‎mengatasi kesulitan belajar membaca pada siswa disleksia. Metode yang ‎digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu systematic literature review (SLR) ‎dengan menelaah ‎artikel yang telah dipilih dan disaring melalui metode ‎PRISMA 2022. Temuan dari penelitian ini ‎yaitu structured literacy efektif ‎dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa disleksia di ‎berbagai ‎negara. Kompleksitas dari pendekatan structured literacy menjadi suatu ‎tantangan bagi ‎para pendidik dalam mempelajari pendekatan ini. sehingga ‎diperlukan adanya tingkat efikasi diri ‎dan kepercayaan diri pada guru ‎sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru yang memberikan ‎dampak ‎positif pada prestasi akademis siswa.‎

Abstract

Telaah literatur sistematis bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan dan strategi dalam mengoptimalkan pendidikan Inklusi di Perguruan Tinggi Indonesia. Artikel dipilih melalui proses penyaringan pada tahun 2015-2020. Review dilakukan pada database online yaitu Google Scholar. Ada 7 artikel yang direview berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Berdasarkan analisis dari artikel tersebut ditemukan tiga tantangan penerapan pendidikan inklusi di perguruan tinggi serta empat strategi untuk mengoptimalkan layanan pendidikan tinggi inklusi di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: tantangan, strategi, pendidikan inklusi, perguruan tinggi,Indonesia. AbstractA systematic literature review aims to determine challenges and strategies in optimizing inclusive education in Indonesian universities.
