Abstract

The potential of underwater natural materials has attracted the attention of researchers and health professionals as an effective source of natural remedies for the treatment of diabetes. Several examples of polyphenol compounds found in underwater natural materials have the ability to act as antioxidants, so they are widely used to improve the condition of diabetic patients. Polyphenols have the ability to suppress postprandial hyperglycemia by inhibiting the hydrolysis activity of enzyme carbohydrates, inhibiting glucose transport in the blood, affecting the function of cells β pancreas, and glucose absorption tissue. The method used in this writing is literature review using international and national journals that are in accordance with the purpose of writing. Thus, the potential of underwater natural ingredients as a natural remedy for diabetes treatment is very promising and needs to be further examined and developed to improve the quality of life of diabetics.

Abstract

Company value is a key parameter used by investors to measure a company's success by looking at its share price, where an increase in share price will have a positive impact on company value and the welfare of its owners. This study aims to determine the influence of profitability, investment decisions, and liquidity on company value in the food & beverage sub-sector on the BEI (2021–2024). This study uses a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research sample consists of 21 food & beverage companies selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results indicate that profitability (ROA, ROE) has a positive impact on company value, investment decisions (PER) have a positive impact on company value, and liquidity (CR) does not affect company value. A company's ability to meet its short-term obligations is not always seen as the primary signal in assessing the company's growth prospects. In the context of signaling theory, information about liquidity is considered insufficiently strong to influence investors' perceptions of company value. This means that companies with good liquidity can meet their short-term obligations, thereby enhancing investor confidence and positively impacting company value.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era which requires innovation in learning media to be in line with technological advances and can develop student competencies holistically. The focus of this research is to develop and implement interactive learning media "SIFASMA" using Articulate Storyline 3 with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach on the respiratory system material. As an important step, this research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which includes the stages of design, media product creation, and validation by media and material experts to measure product feasibility. The main findings from the expert validation results show that the "SIFASMA" media obtained very high scores in various aspects, including material (92.5%), technical (91.66%), and visual aspects (100%), with an overall average reaching 94.95%. In conclusion, the development of interactive learning media "SIFASMA" based on Articulate Storyline 3 with STEM content is proven to be very valid and feasible to be implemented as a relevant and effective tool to improve the quality of education in the digital era. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tuntutan era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang mengharuskan adanya inovasi media pembelajaran agar sesuai dengan kemajuan teknologi dan dapat mengembangkan kompetensi siswa secara holistik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran interaktif "SIFASMA" menggunakan Articulate Storyline 3 dengan pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pada materi sistem pernapasan. Sebagai langkah penting, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang mencakup tahapan perancangan, pembuatan produk media, dan validasi oleh ahli media serta materi untuk mengukur kelayakan produk. Temuan utama dari hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa media "SIFASMA" memperoleh skor yang sangat tinggi pada berbagai aspek, termasuk materi (92,5%), teknis (91,66%), dan aspek visual (100%), dengan rata-rata keseluruhan mencapai 94,95%. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif "SIFASMA" berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 dengan muatan STEM terbukti sangat valid dan layak untuk diimplementasikan sebagai alat yang relevan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a common issue among students, negatively impacting motivation, increasing stress levels, and leading to suboptimal academic performance. Self-regulated learning is regarded as an effective strategy to address this problem, as it encourages students to manage their learning process independently, including planning, implementation, and self-evaluation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic procrastination among nursing students. It employed an analytical correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 124 students selected through stratified random sampling. The independent variable was self-regulated learning, while the dependent variable was academic procrastination. Data collection was conducted using the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) questionnaire and a self-regulated learning scale questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman rank test. The findings indicate that the majority of students exhibited a moderate level of self-regulated learning (96 students, 77.4%) and academic procrastination (96 students, 77.4%). Statistical analysis yielded a value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a correlation coefficient (r) = -0.397, indicating a negative relationship between self-regulated learning and academic procrastination among nursing students. These results suggest that students should develop a greater awareness of their academic responsibilities and set clear learning goals. Future research is recommended to explore the role of conscientiousness in academic procrastination.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to memorize short surahs of the Qur’an Hadith subject. Memorizing short surahs is a funtamental aspect of islamic education as it is closely related to daily worship and the development of students’ religius character. This reserch amployed a Classroom Action Reserch (CAR) apporach, carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and refklection. The subjesubjects werw 20 students who dad difficulties in memorizing and reciting qur’anic verses. The chain memoeization technique was implemented through repetitive group recitation and individual turns, fostering an interactive and collaborative learning environment. The result indicated a signivicant improvement and students’ memorization skills, with the class average increasing from 62,65 in the pre-cycle (66% mastery) to 75.65 in cycle I (76%) and 81,6 in cycle II (82%). In addition to quantitative gains, students also showed increased self-confidence, cocetration, and participation.The succes of this technique was akso supported by the teacher’s role as a ficilitator and parental involvement at home. Chain memorization proved to be effection and is recommended for regular use in Qur’anic learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Kemajuan dalam teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sangat memengaruhi dinamika sosial masyarakat modern. Dunia modern memungkinkan penggunaan media sosial yang mudah untuk mendapatkan informasi, tetapi juga meningkatkan eskalasi dan kompleksitas konflik. Tujuan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang diluncurkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Indonesia, adalah untuk menyediakan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan yang rumit di era digital. Namun, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dan manajemen konflik di ruang digital masih menjadi masalah. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif yang melibatkan studi kasus dan studi kepustakaan. Setelah dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, data dianalisis secara tematik. Data primer berasal dari dokumen resmi Kemendikbudristek yang berkaitan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari artikel jurnal dan berita yang relevan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka telah menimbulkan banyak masalah. Ini termasuk perubahan metode pengajaran yang cepat, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan keterlibatan yang rendah dari orang tua. Untuk mengatasi konflik digital di sekolah, metode seperti kurikulum berbasis peserta didik, pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pemecahan masalah, dan kerja sama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat sangat penting. Meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka memberi Anda kebebasan untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan masalah yang muncul di era komputer dan internet, untuk membuatnya berhasil, Anda memerlukan pendekatan manajemen konflik yang kuat. Untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif dan sukses di era digital ini, kerja sama antara sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua sangat penting. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meningkatkan metode untuk menangani konflik dalam situasi ini.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain: (1) menganalisis content knowledge(CK) mahasiswa calon guru Biologi pada matakuliah microteachingtahun ajaran 2015/2016; (2) menganalisis pedagogical knowledge(PK) mahasiswa calon guru Biologi pada matakuliah microteachingtahun ajaran 2015/2016; serta (3) menganalisis pedagogical contentknowledge (PCK) mahasiswa calon guru Biologi pada matakuliahmicroteaching tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan diProgram Studi (Prodi) Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UniversitasMuhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruhmahasiswa Prodi P. Biologi FKIP UMS yang menempuh matakuliahmicroteaching sedangkan sampel diambil dari kelas A,B, dan C secarapurposive sampling. Data berupa CK, PK, dan PCK mahasiswadiperoleh dari hasil penilaian Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran(RPP) yang telah disusun mahasiswa serta penilaian penampilan padasaat microteaching dengan menggunakan lembar penilaian kinerja(performance assessment). Rata-rata nilai CK mahasiswa P. BiologiFKIP UMS pada matakuliah microteaching Tahun Akademik2015/2016 sebesar 72.69. Jika dilihat skor setiap indikator makaindikator dengan capaian tertinggi adalah indikator keempat yaitumengolah materi pelajaran yang diampu secara kreatif sesuai dengantingkat perkembangan peserta didik sedangkan indikator dengancapaian terendah adalah indikator pertama yaitu memahami konsep,hukum, dan teori Biologi serta penerapannya secara fleksibel. Rataratanilai PK mahasiswa P. Biologi FKIP UMS pada matakuliahmicroteaching Tahun Akademik 2015/2016 sebesar 75.86. Jika dilihatskor setiap indikator maka indikator dengan capaian tertinggi adalahindikator pertama yaitu pengetahuan dalam melakukan penilaianperformance siswa di kelas sedangkan indikator dengan capaianterendah adalah indikator kelima yaitu kemampuan melakukantindakan reflektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Rataratanilai PCK mahasiswa P. Biologi FKIP UMS pada matakuliahmicroteaching Tahun Akademik 2015/2016 sebesar 78.55. Jika dilihatskor setiap indikator maka indikator dengan capaian tertinggi adalahindikator pertama yaitu memilih pendekatan dan strategi pembelajaranyang sesuai dengan materi Biologi sedangkan indikator dengancapaian terendah adalah indikator keempat yaitu menggunakan mediapembelajaran dan sumber belajar yang relevan dengan karakteristikpeserta didik dan materi Biologi.

Abstract

Tujuan jangka panjang yang ingin dicapai melalui program ini adalah adanya usaha untuk menciptakan dan membina budaya wirausaha untuk masyarakat di desa binaan yaitu desa Saren, Kalijambe, Sragen. Menciptakan karakter masyarakat yang siap berwirausaha melalui penerapan Ipteks bidang budidaya jamur dan produk olahannya. Metode yang dipakai dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan,yaitu dengan cara pembenahan kubung jamur dengan menambah kricak (pasir kasar) sebahan bahan untuk lantai kubung jamur, pengadaan baglog sebanyak 1000 baglog (perawatan dan pemanenan), pelatihan pembuatan nugget jamur, pembuatan dan pemasaran nugget jamur. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan penghasilan bagi masyarakat desa binaan yaitu desa Saren kabupaten Sragen dengan adanya pemanenan jamur dan penjualan produk olahan jamur ini.

Abstract

Biology learning in accordance with its essence should emphasize direct experience so that students areable to explore the natural surroundings scientifically. Practicum is a vehicle to provide directexperience to students. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of distancelearning, the implementation of the practicum cannot run as it should. The purpose of this study was todescribe the implementation of Biology/Science practicum in secondary schools during the COVID-19pandemic T.A 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive study that was conducted from February to July2021. The subjects of this research were Biology and Science teachers in high schools throughout SoloRaya. The data was taken by using a questionnaire technique which was distributed through googleform. The number of respondents in this study were 41 people. The results of the questionnaire analysison the implementation of Biology and Science practicums in high schools throughout Solo during theCOVID-19 pandemic, it was found that 65.9% carried out practicums during the COVID-19 pandemicwhile 34.1% did not carry out practicums. The implementation of the practicum uses various platformssuch as google meet and moodle app, zoom meeting and youtube, google classroom, and so on.Regarding the effectiveness of online practicum implementation, 92.7% said it was not effective while7.3% said it was effective

Abstract

Four endophytic bacteria have been isolated from banana kluthuk plants and banana ambon. Previous study showed that they produce Indole Acetic Acid (IAA). This study aimed to analyze the effect of endophytic bacterial inoculation on plant height and the number of rice root. For this reason, two endophytic bacteria of each klutuk banana and ambon banana plants were cultured and examined for growth rate using a 600 nm spectrophotometer. Isolate growth was calculated every two hours for 16 hours of bacterial growth in NB media. Bacterial inoculation experiments on rice plants were carried out with five replications. This inoculation begun with germination of rice seeds until the radicle was observed. Then germinated rice seedlings were soaked in a bacterial suspension for 1 hour at room temperature. The results showed the exponential phase of all isolates was observed at 6 hours with shaking. Inoculation using A22 and A51 isolates significantly increases plant height, number of leaves. While, A22 isolate significantly increased the number of roots compared to the uninoculated plants (control). It supports the potential of endophytic bacteria from banana kluthuk and ambon plants.
