Abstract

This research was based on the demands of the 21st century in which teachers should have 4 skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication). Teachers are required to change the way of teaching that initially (teacher-centered) turns into (student-centered) and able to participate to follow the development of technology. Therefore, E-book learning is needed that can present material pedagogy integrated with kolb learning and 4C's. This research aims to produce the final product in the form of valid e-book media learning, practical and effective in pedagogy subject. This was a research and development (Research and Development) research. This development research used ADDIE development model consisting of 5 stages which were Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Based on the results, e-book validation testing conducted by three validators, it obtained Aiken's score 0.9 with a valid category. The test results practicalities of the teachers and the students were 86% in the practical category. The effectiveness test results was 89.65%. Thus, it can be concluded that this research has produced a pedagogical e-book which is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Electric Power Distribution System Learning has demands for learning outcomes so that students understand the concept, and have basic knowledge and skills in various constructions of electric power distribution networks. This requires varied and more contextual learning methods and requires contextual learning media as well. The learning media used should be able to provide real experiences for students in simulating the electric power distribution system according to the concepts they are learning. However, the ability of students in the configuration of various distribution networks has problems because there is no suitable learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a valid power distribution system trainer for use in learning. This study aims to produce a valid electric power distribution system trainer. This type of research is research & development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. Research is limited to the development stage (development). The validation test was carried out by 4 validators using an instrument in the form of a validation sheet. The results of the validation show that the electric power distribution system trainer developed is in the valid category, both for content quality aspects and objectives, instructional, and technical. This indicates that the trainer developed is appropriate for use in learning in order to test its effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital simulation and communication e-module based on Project Based Learning by using Moodle application to improve critical thinking skills in the field of computer and network engineering. The main focus of this study is to assess the validity, practicality, and student responses to the developed e-module design. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model, including Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used was a set of questionnaires on validation, user practicability, and student responses to the e-module, distributed to 25 students. The e-module was rated as valid by media experts (82%) and material experts (84%) and very practical according to teacher assessment (89.09%) and practical according to student assessment (84.07%). The results showed that students' scores after using the e-module were higher than the scores before using the e-module, indicating the effectiveness of the e-module in improving students’ critical thinking skills and understanding of the learning. The findings emphasize the importance of technology integration in vocational high schools to prepare students for future jobs and encourage innovation in 21st century learning methodologies.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in higher education has gained momentum as a significant research subject, especially in the last decade. New approaches to entrepreneurship education in universities recognize that the goal is not only to generate new businesses, but more broadly to develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation skills. In this competitive global economy, graduates with technical skills alone are not enough. It also requires the ability to innovate and adapt, and create new opportunities. In response, universities around the world have integrated entrepreneurship education into their curricula, seeking to equip graduates with a flexible and proactive mindset through various programs and initiatives. However, challenges in the implementation of entrepreneurship education include its effective integration into an often rigid and dense curriculum, as well as difficulties in measuring the long-term impact of entrepreneurship. This study aims to identify and visualize publications related to entrepreneurial learning in the context of higher education. Using bibliometric analysis with the main data source from the Scopus database, this study focused on publications between 2014 and 2023, resulting in 799 relevant documents to be further analyzed using Biblioshiny for data visualization. From the data filtering results, 265 publications were identified with an annual growth of 13.33% and 672 authors who have contributed to this field, signaling high interest from the research community. In-depth analysis revealed publication trends, the most prolific authors, the most active affiliations, and the most cited articles, providing a comprehensive picture of the current bibliometric landscape. These insights are important for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers to inform the development of more effective educational programs and policies and highlight the need for further research on the impact of entrepreneurial learning and the integration of digital technologies in education. This research provides a foundation for future explorations into digital entrepreneurship, charting pathways for innovation and positive impact within the education sector
