Abstract

This research is backed by a low interest condition of reading communities among children and adolescents in Kp. BBC Village of Cihampelas West Bandung Regency. Especially the students in the junior high School of Insan Litera and any strategy that can be used as an effort to inspire reading. The purpose of this research is (1) to know the strategy to build a community to learn. (2) To know the process of student Readathon activity in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera. The theories used in this research include the concept of community fond of learning, and the concept of Readathon. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The location of research in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera which is under the auspices of Bening Saguling Foundation and which is the subject of research is all students of Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera, amounting to 11 people, principals, and also representatives of one teacher. Based on the research results that Readathon has carried out well. In this readathon there are several activities carried out consisting of 4 stages of 1) the implementation of Readathon routinely once a week, carried out on Thursday. With the target one student finished reading one book one week. 2) reading book read by PPL students who act as tutors. 3) Discussion of read books packed with fun games or quizzes. 4) Create a geulis tree (literacy Movement) where the student who has completed reading one book writes his name and the title of his book later in the Geulis tree. The condition of learning interest in students is also quite high, visible from students ' participation in following learning programs.

Abstract

To improve cognitive development in early childhood counting activities, it must be fun learning using games with learning media in real forms. Learning media Modified Number board is one of the media that can be applied to improve numeracy skills. The purpose of implementing this learning media is to stimulate the numeracy skills of children. The research method taken is descriptive. Data collection by researchers is through observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, researchers used data analysis techniques with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. From the activities carried out by children in applying the modified Number board learning media, there was a significant increase in the ability to count early in early childhood. With this learning media, children not only recognize the concept of numbers and the symbols of numbers 1-10, but children can understand numbers, measure, and recognize addition. The conclusion of this study is to stimulate the initial numeracy skills in children, one of which is by applying the modified Number board learning media.Untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dalam aktivitas berhitung permulaan anak usia dini harus dengan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan menggunakan permainan dengan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk nyata. Media pembelajaran Number board modifikasiialah satku dari sekian banyak media yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan behitung. Tujuan penerapan media number board modifikasiini yaitu untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berhitung pada anak. Metode penelitian yang diambil yaitu deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam pelaksanaan riset ini,  peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data,penyajiandata dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari kegiatan anak dalam menerapkan media pembelajaran Number board modifikasi terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berhitung awal pada anak usia dini. Dengan media pembelajaran ini, anak bukan sekedar mengenal konsep bilangan dan lambang bilangan 1-10 saja tetapi anak dapat pemahaman angka, pengukuran dan mengenal penjumlahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu menstimulasi kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak salah satunya dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran Number board modifikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the process of implementing early literacy at the age of 5-6 years through letter arisan games. The letter arisan game is a game that can stimulate children's language development, especially in terms of recognizing letters and reading early or early literacy. In this game, the early literacy process is introduced gradually from recognizing the letters a-z, spelling out consonants and vowels, and combining two letters into a sound. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is done through participant observation and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction and data display. The results of this study indicate that letter arisan games can be applied to develop early literacy. The problem with this game is that it is a long and gradual process that requires patience and istiqomah in carrying it out. Several techniques must be used for this game to be lively and enjoyable. It is hoped that this research will be useful for parents and teachers in implementing fun early literacy for children.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas proses implementasi literasi dini pada usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan arisan huruf. Permainan arisan huruf merupakan permainan yang dapat merangsang perkembangan bahasa anak terutama dalam hal mengenal huruf dan membaca permulaan atau literasi dini. Dalam permainan ini, proses literasi dini dikenalkan secara bertahap dari mengenal huruf a-z, mengeja huruf konsonan dan vokal serta menggabungkan dua huruf menjadi sebuah bunyi. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data dan display data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan arisan huruf bisa diterapkan guna mengembangkan literasi dini. Kendala dari permainan ini adalah prosesnya yang panjang dan bertahap sehingga membutuhkan kesabaran dan istiqomahdalam melaksanakannya. Beberapa teknik harus dilakukan agar permainan ini menjadi hidup dan menyenangkan. Diharapkan penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi para orangtua dan para guru dalam menerapkan literasi dini yang menyenangkan bagi anak.

Abstract

The purpose of the study to know the spiritual intelligence of early childhood through the role of teachers using the Hijaiyah card in the PAUD Nurul Atfal age 5-6 years. The reason for research is to examine the extent of the spiritual intelligence of early childhood through the role of teachers in PAUD Nurul Atfal. The research population is Nurul Atfal PAUD. The subjects of the study were group B (5-6) years with a total of 13 men consisting of 7 males and 6 women. The methods used in the research action class consist of two cycles. Data collection techniques using observations in the form of observation sheets checklist. Data analysis uses quantitative data obtained from the cycle results and then compared to the second cycle results. The observation showed that there was an increase in the child's spiritual intelligence through the role of a teacher with the category BSH, the results of pre-cycle 23% (3 people), Cycle I 54% (7 people), and cycle II 85% (11 people). From the data is the conclusion is a teacher's role is very important to improve the child's spiritual intelligence, making the child fluent way of reading Hijaiyah letters and Makharijul letters well and correctly, can distinguish the letters Hijaiyah and memorized one by one letter Hijaiyah.Tujuan dari penelitian  untuk mengetahui kecerdasan spiritual anak usia dini melalui peran guru dengan menggunakan kartu huruf hijaiyah di PAUD Nurul Atfal usia 5-6 tahun. Alasan dilakukan penelitian untuk menelaah sejauh mana kecerdasan spiritual anak usia dini melalui peran guru di PAUD Nurul Atfal. Populasi penelitian adalah PAUD Nurul Atfal. Subyek penelitian yaitu kelompok B (5-6) tahun dengan jumlah 13 orang terdiri dari 7 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terdiri dari dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi berupa lembar observasi check list.Analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil siklus kesatu dan kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil siklus kedua. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual anak melalui peran guru dengan kategori BSH, hasil pra siklus 23%  (3 orang), siklus I 54% (7 orang), dan siklus II 85% (11 orang). Dari data tersebut kesimpulannya adalah peran guru sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual anak, menjadikan anak fasih cara membaca huruf hijaiyah beserta makharijul hurufnya dengan baik dan benar, bisa membedakan huruf hijaiyah dan hafal satu persatu huruf hijaiyah.

Abstract

Children are children given by God who must be looked after and developed potential,  one aspect of early childhood development is the cognitive aspect. Cognitive is the intellectual ability of the child in thinking, knowing, and solving problems, the ability of symbols that symbolize the number of objects. Developing cognitive abilities can be done through the introduction of simple counting concepts. In learning to count in early childhood, children learn to connect real objects with mathematical symbols. One of the real objects is the smart bottle cap board medium. Based on the results of observations due to the learning that relies on the child's worksheet, the lack of stimulus and learning not by using real objects and less interesting, so researchers conducted a study to find out how teachers are trying to improve early childhood counting skills with smart bottle cap board media with qualitative descriptive research methods. The study subjects were 11 people, consisting of 5 girls, 6 boys, and 1 classroom teacher in Khaerunnisa Kindergarten. The data collection technique carried out in this study is observation, with technical analysis using qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on observations that researchers conducted during three meetings, it was obtained that the ability to count early childhood through the medium of smart bottle cap boards can be improved. Children become happy in counting learning.Anak merupakan titipan yang diberikan oleh Tuhan yang harus dijaga dan dikembangkan potensinya, salah satu aspek perkembangan anak usia dini adalah aspek kognitif. Kognitif yaitu kemampuan intelektual anak dalam berpikir, mengetahui dan memecahkan  masalah, kemampuan simbol yang melambangkan banyaknya benda. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif dapat dilakukan melalui pengenalan konsep berhitung sederhana. Dalam pembelajaran berhitung pada anak usia dini, anak belajar menghubungkan objek nyata dengan simbol matematis. Salah satu objek nyata tersebut yakni dengan media papan tutup botol pintar. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, karena pembelajaran yang mengandalkan lembar kerja anak, kurangnya stimulus dan pembelajaran belum menggunakan objek nyata dan kurang menarik, sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian  untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini  dengan media papan tutup botol pintar dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yakni 11 orang, terdiri dari 5 orang anak perempuan, 6 orang anak laki-laki dan 1 orang guru kelas di TK Khaerunnisa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yakni observasi, dengan teknis analisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini melalui media papan tutup botol pintar dapat meningkat. Anak menjadi senang dalam pembelajaran berhitung.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of computer courses and training at Puspa Kencana Course and Training Institute (LKP) to improve learning quality. The research method used is descriptive. The data collected in this study uses interviews, observation, documentation studies, and data triangulation techniques. The subjects of this study were LKP manager Puspa Kencana, instructors, and computer trainees selected purposively. The results showed that 1) Management starts with planning, which includes identifying learning needs, determining students, instructors, and preparing infrastructure facilities. 2) The implementation of the course program at Puspa Kencana is carried out on a scheduled and systematic basis by being given some additional materials to improve competency. 3) The training results show the students are independently able to carry out what they earn during computer course activities. 4) Efforts to improve learning quality are carried out by instructors who include teaching with sincere intentions, providing engaging learning by using methods, refracting questions to students, and instructors already attending workshop seminars to improve their abilities. 5) The supporting factor in the management of the course comes from external factors, namely, support from the local area to facilitate the implementation of courses. While the inhibitory factor comes from internal managers such as technical constraints such as equipment malfunction, irregular and unorderly maintenance of computers' components. Furthermore, if the administration is not well managed, then it will be an inhibition of many things such as not being able to pay salaries, and buying the operational needs of the institution

Abstract

The background of the researchers conducting this research is that the art of pencak art is determined as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO so that it hopes that pencak art as an intangible cultural heritage. With this placement, it is expected that young people through youth can continue to cultural background and want to get involved in training conducted as provisions. This training is intended to be able to elevate the art of Pencak among the general public as well as to preserve local culture that has begun to be marginalized in this era of globalization.The purpose of this training is to find out about Pencak Art Training to Preserve Local Wisdom in Youth Organization Kp. Andir RT. 01 RW. 15 Padalarang Village, West Bandung Regency. The theory used in this research is the theory of youth, training theory and pencak art theory.Researchers conducted interviews and observation techniques with qualitative descriptive methods to obtain information from resource persons. The sample of this study was one trainer, 6 trainees, one Youth Organization Chairperson and one RW Kp Chairperson. Andir is chosen randomly.The results of the research on Pencak art training to preserve local wisdom in Youth Organization Kp. Andir kec. Padalarang, West Bandung regency is in line with expectations where the community in the village. Andir padalarang has begun to recognize and know the training of pencak arts. There were also many benefits felt by the participants.The conclusion of this study is Kp. Andir Padalarang to introduce pancak art in general society, especially young people so that Pencak art is not easily lost and is increasingly developing as our nation's cultural heritage in the midst of today's digitized world competition.

Abstract

Parental involvement in early childhood education plays a vital role in the growth and development of children. Various research results show that parental involvement has a positive impact on parents and educators or managers of PAUD institutions must be in an excellent relationship to meet all children's needs. The aim of this study is to examine the involvement of parents in early childhood education in order to empower families in a digital age that is full of challenges, particularly in the context of the organization of quality early childhood education. This aims to inform parents of the importance of their involvement in the child education process and to establish good communication and collaboration between parents, educators and managers of educational institutions. This research uses a descriptive method of research with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at TAUD SaQu Nurul Islam Al Husna Kota Cimahi, with the research subjects of 30 parents, 2 educators and 1 managers of PAUD institutions. Collection of data through interviewing techniques, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that: parental involvement in TAUD Saqu Nurul Islam Al Husna includes parenting activities, sharing information between parents and teachers through various communication media, parental volunteering, home learning assistance, involvement in decision-making, and parental participation in field activities. Through a variety of activities involving parents, making it more empowered to build a family force that can be beneficial to the child's success.

Abstract

The role of fathers in parenting and child education will have a significant influence on child development. This study aims to describe the involvement of fathers in childcare and to know the picture of fathers' role in shaping the emotional social of the child. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subjects of 10 parents who had children aged 4-6 years and two teachers in Tk Selaras. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the father's involvement in parenting could have a good influence on the child's personality so that he is ready to compete in the future. The quality of a meeting brings a more significant impact on the parenting carried out. The quality of good interaction between the child and the father can improve the child's emotional and social development because good interaction will make the child feel happy and have reasonable confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to describe Mukena home industry training management ranging from planning, implementation, and results. As well as what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of home industry training itself. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data is collected with participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data is analyzed using data collection techniques, data reduction, and data display. These techniques are used to search for data in community empowerment research through mukena Fathiya's home industry training activities in increasing family economic income. The study results include 1) Planning, which includes schedule determination, tutor determination, place and time determination, participant recruitment, training, and practice materials, as well as materials for practice, and sewing tools.  2) Implementation includes: Participant participation, local community participation, and practice directly after they understand the theory.  3) Training results include knowledge, skills, and also increased income.  4) Inhibition factors includes time and cost, training methods, and techniques. The supporting factors include facilities, trainers/tutors, trainees, and practice materials
