Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving method of the Polya model on learning outcomes about the story of the flat-waking class V students of Elementary School 1 North Pariaman. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the results of several considerations. The instrument used is a test that is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of the problem solving model method on the learning outcomes of the story about the flat-building area of class V SD Cluster 1 North Pariaman. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.71 > ttable = 1.72. Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than in the control group, indicated by the control group mean = 73.09 and the mean obtained by the experimental group = 87.18.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low results of studying the volume of geometric shapes and the relationship of cubes and cube roots. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in spatial volume learning outcomes with the Problem Based Learning model in Class V SDN 12 Padang Besi, Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research procedures are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and non-tests. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 25 fifth-grade students. The results showed that the lesson plan for cycle I obtained an average of 86.46% (B), and an increase in cycle II of 93.75% (SB). Implementation of the first cycle of the teacher aspect obtained an average of 86.9% (B), increased in the second cycle by 96.42% (SB). Implementation of the first cycle aspects of students obtained an average of 83.33% (B), increased in the second cycle to 92.85% (SB). The learning outcomes of the first cycle obtained an average of 73.66 (C), increased in the second cycle to 86.01 (B). It was concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model could improve the learning outcomes of geometric volumes and cube and cube roots in Class V SDN 12 Padang Besi

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking skills of students. Matematika is one of the basic science that has a very important role in the effort to the field of science and technology. More added math may prepare students to apply mathematics that are needed in everyday use. This type of research quasi-experimentalresearch design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fourth grade learners Al-Azhar Bukittinggi. The sampling technique is done by using purposive sampling, so the class was selected as the control class IVA and IVB class as a class experiment. Before determining the samples, then tested using the analysis prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity. Instruments used in the form of objective tests.Based on the results of data analysis calculations t-test with a level of 0.05 was obtained signifikasn t (2,51) and ttable (2.10). So that t> t table, where 2.51> 2.10. Thus it can be concluded that Ha is received, which is containedthe effect of the use of learning mathematics Android-based media to the critical thinking ability of students learning in fourth grade Denomination Al-Azhar Bukittinggi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the interest in learning mathematics and the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students of the Public Elementary School in Cluster I of Ampek Angkek District. This type of research is correlational research. The sample in the study amounted to 56 grade V students of the Public Elementary School in Cluster I Ampek Angkek Subdistrict selected based on systematic sampling techniques. The results of the calculation of research data using the Pearson Product Moment formula obtained r count = 0.716> r table = 0.2632 and a significance value of  0,000 <0,05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis says "there is a positive relationship between interest in learning mathematics with the results of mathematics learning in the fifth grade students of the Public Elementary School in Cluster I Ampek Angkek District. Keywords: Interest in Learning, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited use of interactive multimedia in mathematics use in elementary schools that use Articulate Storyline 3. The purpose of this research is to produce valid and practical interactive multimedia. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods by using the ADDIE model, this model has five stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. the results of the material, media and language expert validation questionnaire on interactive multimedia with a very valid category score of 91,75%. Based on the teacher and student response questionnaire in the interactive multimedia trial school, it was very practical with a percentage of 95% of teacher responses and 92% of student responses, and the percentage of practicality so that they obtained high value. Thus, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia is valid and practical to use when studying

Abstract

Abstract The use of learning media in learning activities can provide opportunities for students to try and be actively involved in learning activities. This research purpose is to see how much the influence of using fraction block media on student learning outcomes in addition and subtraction fraction material with different denominators in grade 5. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at SD N 01 Benteng Pasar Atas Bukittinggi. This research is using non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique in this study uses a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests along with hypothesis testing using the t-test. This reseach indicates that there is an effect of the use of fraction block media on student learning outcomes proven from the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test at a significant level α = 0.05 and df = 64 obtained by tcount of 2.190 and ttable of 2,0003.Keyword : fraction block media , Learning Outcome

Abstract

The aim of carrying out this research is to develop student learning achievement in Pancasila education lessons using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) model in Class V SDN 03 Gunung Tuleh. The type of research that will be used is Action Research. The data collection techniques used to obtain valid data in classroom action research (PTK) are test and non-test techniques in the form of question sheets, teaching module assessment sheets, observation sheets, skills and attitude assessment rubrics. In the data analysis section, researchers used qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. This research uses a process which consists of designing, organizing, observing and contemplating. The subjects of this research were 15 fifth grade students, researchers as practitioners and class teachers as observers. The results of this research show that there has been an increase in aspects of planning, implementation and learning outcomes. Thus, the application of the NHT approach can improve student learning outcomes and is suitable for use in teaching Pancasila education for class V SDN 03 Gunung Tuleh.
