Abstract

The emergence of social media is one of the results of the very rapid development of the internet and technology. Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms for tourism promotion because it allows the rapid dissemination of information. Green Paradise Tourism is one type of tourism that uses Instagram as a promotional tool. The aim of this research is to find out how managers use social media to promote their tourism, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in using Instagram. This research uses a qualitative method that uses a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that: (1) Instagram is very effective as a promotional platform by using its features such as photo titles or captions, hashtags, Instagram stories, reposts and reels, as well as using the AIDA concept (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) to attract followers' attention. (2) Factors that support the use of Instagram social media to promote Green Paradise Tourism in Pagar Alam City are promotions using its features such as photo titles or captions. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the content to be posted and promoted as well as competition with destinations, especially with more aggressive promotional tactics or greater attractiveness.

Abstract

Communication strategies in marketing can help consumer interest which will have an impact on increasing sales and good brand awareness. The aim of this research is to find out how Ms Glow's marketing communication strategies and supporting and inhibiting factors to consumers via Instagram increase brand awareness. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) theory is used. The research results show that MS Glow Distributor Palembang carries out a marketing communication strategy in building brand awareness, there are marketing communication elements, namely: (1) MS Glow Distributor Palembang carries out promotions using five promotion mixes in integrated marketing communications, namely Advertising, Sales Promotion (Sales). Promotion), Direct Marketing, Personal Selling, Public Relations. (2) Supporting factors for MS Glow in increasing brand awareness, namely: endorsing, providing testimonials on product use, and the role of reels and live Instagram features. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for MS Glow Palembang distributors in increasing brand awareness is the large number of people who sell products below normal prices

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Role of South Sumatra POLDA PENMAS in Conveying KAMTIBMAS Information in South Sumatra". The South Sumatra Regional Police conveyed information on social security and order via talk shows on radio stations in Palembang, South Sumatra. The presence of the police cannot be separated from the supra system that surrounds it, namely society. From various publications discussing police challenges, it can be concluded that there is a connection between the role of the police and community development. Therefore, the workload and role of the police always changes from time to time. The main tasks of the police in historical development revolve around enforcing the law (law enforcement), maintaining public order (order maintenance or peacekeeping) as well as providing community service and also maintaining internal security. This research aims to determine the role of Penmas at the South Sumatra Regional Police in conveying National Security Information in South Sumatra. The research method used is this research uses a research method with a qualitative approach. The Qualitative Approach is research where the researcher in conducting the research uses observation techniques, interviews, content analysis, and other data collection methods to present the subject's responses and behavior. The results of this research are: As a liaison for organizations or institutions represented by the public, namely being a liaison in conveying information to internal and external parties, playing a role in conveying information on social security and order in South Sumatra. As people who take part in social interactions, we strive to foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with the public and build a safe and orderly environment in South Sumatra. So the role of Penmas is in conveying information on social security and order. That Penmas has carried out its duties and responsibilities in accordance with its role and function in conveying information to Kamtibmas.

Abstract

This study explores household attitudes and willingness to adopt renewable energy in Indonesia to reduce GHG emissions. Key factors include public awareness, economic barriers, policy clarity, and behavioral resistance. Surveys and statistical analyses reveal that awareness boosts adoption, while high costs and skepticism hinder it. Targeted interventions, such as education campaigns, financial incentives, and community engagement, are essential to address these barriers, offering actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders to advance sustainable energy transition efforts

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas ibu-ibu PKK di Kabupaten Sinjai dalam bidang kerajinan tangan, khususnya pembuatan bros sebagai produk ekonomi kreatif. Pelatihan difokuskan pada teknik dasar pembuatan bros menggunakan bahan kawat stainless dan manik-manik yang mudah diperoleh dan bernilai ekonomis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemberian materi teori tentang bahan dan alat, praktik langsung pembuatan bros, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi hasil karya peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari dan diikuti oleh 25 peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami teknik dasar pembuatan bros dan menghasilkan karya yang rapi, estetik, serta berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi produk usaha rumahan. PKM ini tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan baru, tetapi juga membuka peluang pemberdayaan ekonomi bagi perempuan di tingkat desa.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of operational efficiency, technological innovation, and service quality on the competitiveness of cargo handling companies at ports, with government regulation as a moderating variable and customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Operational efficiency enhances optimal resource utilization and cost reduction, while technological innovation accelerates logistics processes through automation and digitalization. Service quality plays a crucial role in fostering customer satisfaction, which contributes to loyalty and sustainable competitiveness. Government regulations ensure a structured operational framework, support innovation, and enhance efficiency through safety and sustainability standards. This research provides theoretical and practical insights for policymakers and managers in improving the competitiveness of the port logistics industry. Furthermore, empirical studies across various types of ports are recommended to understand the effects of these variables in different operational contexts.

Abstract

Technology and digital media have transformed the world of education, including PAI learning. The purpose of this research is to examine how the utilization of technology and media in PAI learning in the modern era. This research conducted a literature review using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research shows that although technology and media can enhance the quality of learning, they can also present problems such as a shortage of educators and infrastructure imbalances. The use of technology in Islamic Education (PAI) can be an innovative way to improve the quality of Islamic education by optimizing the right strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh literasi keuangan, gaya hidup, dan financial technology terhadap perilaku konsumtif, serta melihat peran kontrol diri sebagai variabel moderasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan PLS-SEM, yang dianalisis menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 4 dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner terhadap 150 responden pengguna e-wallet dari kalangan Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup dan penggunaan fintech berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, sedangkan literasi keuangan berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Namun, kontrol diri tidak memoderasi secara signifikan hubungan ketiga variabel bebas terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa aspek gaya hidup dan kemudahan akses teknologi lebih dominan mendorong konsumsi dibandingkan pengaruh kontrol diri.

Abstract

This study discusses about how the Government's Internal Supervisory Apparatus understands its role in fraud detection and the Government's Internal Control System. The aim of this study is to find out the extent to which the Government's Internal Supervisory Apparatus understands their role in fraud detection according to the Government's Internal Control System in the Provincial Government "XYZ". This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The results showed that APIP's understanding was very diverse and many of them did not understand their role in fraud detection and prevention. It is also similar with the Government's Internal Control System associated with the APIP role. The condition that becomes the common thread is not yet the functioning of the early warning system for efforts to eradicate corruption in this country.

Abstract

Background: People's perceptions of the need for COVID-19 vaccine boosters are influenced by a variety of psychosocial, demographic, and informational factors. Indonesia and Philipines data might be show difference people’s perception to response the important of booster vaccinations. Purpose: This study aims to describe the differences between two difference population from two countries namely Indonesia and the Philipines. This is descriptive study with two datasets from respondents in Indonesia anad the Philipines. Methods: This research explore perceptions on vaccination and the willingness to get second shoots of covid-19 vaccination. A total 101 respondent from Indonesia and 400 respondents from the Philipines included in this study. Sample method was consecutive. Results: The result showed that 57% received covid-19 booster, while 43 43% have not received the Covid 19 booster vaccine. From the Philipines’data, 29% of respondents have received the Covid 19 booster vaccine, while 71% have not received the Covid 19 vaccine. Indonesian data shows that 76% think that booster vaccines can increase body immunity, extend the period of protection against the virus and help reduce the spread of the Covid 19 virus. Conclusion: Meanwhile, Filipino data shows various perceptions underlying the willingness to do the covid-19 booster vaccine, namely the existence of local government policies in providing vaccines as much as 93%, the adequacy of vaccine supply 76%, It is concluded that percentage of covid 19 booster participation among two countries quiet difference and the perception show based on people perception on resilience during pandemi and support from health care system.
