Abstract

XYZ Company, a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) based in Yogyakarta, specializes in producing hijabs but faces challenges in maintaining customer interest due to a misalignment between product designs and consumer preferences. To address this, the company actively engages in new product development (NPD), focusing on trend analysis and model innovation to cater to customer needs better. An essential part of minimizing risks during the NPD process involves evaluating and identifying potential pitfalls, particularly in marketing and design. This study employs the Hazard and Operability Review (HOR) method to assess risks systematically. Initial findings from HOR phase 1 reveal that inadequate competitor information (A3) leads to significant risks in competitor product identification (E3), contributing approximately 70.34% to the total Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP). Subsequently, in HOR phase 2, XYZ Company prioritizes ten mitigation actions, with conducting a comparative study of competitors' products (PA1) being the most critical, reflected by an ETDk value of 540. Keywords: House of Risk (HOR), Hijab Fashion, Hijab Industry, New Product Development (NPD)

Abstract

Neglected tropical diseases, including scabies and pediculosis, are diseases that are still a health problem in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools are risky locations with a high prevalence of scabies and pediculosis because they have dense housing, lack of environmental sanitation and personal hygiene. This service activity aimed to increase knowledge about preventing and treating scabies and pediculosis in Pondok Pesantren X, South Sumatra. A total of 46 students with complaints of itching on the skin and head were present as participants in the activity which has been carried out in November 2023. The implementation of service consists of examination, counseling, as well as pretest and posttest. The scabies examination method was carried out clinically according to IACS 2020 criteria, while pediculosis examination was carried out with a serit combs. Counseling activities on the topic of clean and healthy living behavior was began and ended with the pretest and posttest. From the examination activities, it was found that 95% (44) students suffered scabies and 36% (17) students suffered pediculosis. Participants were quite enthusiastic in participating in counseling activities, as evidenced by the number of questions related to clean and healthy living behavior in daily activities at Islamic boarding schools. The counseling activity was quite successful, which can be seen from the increase in the correct value and significance (p < 0.05) of the pretest and posttest results.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the prevalence of soil-transmitted helminths (STH) infection ranges from 2.5% to 62%, primarily affecting lower socioeconomic groups with poor sanitation. STH transmission can occur through fecal-oral routes, skin penetration of larvae, and mechanical vectors. This study examines STH egg contamination in flies at the Sukawinatan Landfill, Palembang, to understand their role in transmission and support vector control strategies. The research employs a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design. Observations were conducted microscopically with sample processed using the sedimentation technique. From 59 samples prepared from 598 flies, 17 samples (28.8%) were confirmed positive for STH eggs. The total number and type of STH eggs found were 24 Trichuris trichiura eggs. In conclusion, STH egg contamination was detected on flies at the Sukawinatan Landfill in Palembang City.

Abstract

Postural disorders in children are abnormalities in body alignment that can lead to long-term musculoskeletal health issues. Poor posture can cause muscle imbalance, chronic pain, and even growth problems. Contributing factors include incorrect sitting habits, excessive gadget use, lack of physical activity, and heavy school bags. Education for children and parents on proper posture is an important strategy to prevent these issues. This community service activity was conducted in Sidodadi Village, Beringin District, involving elementary students and their parents. The results showed that the majority of participants were unaware of ideal posture and the importance of early detection of disorders such as kyphosis, scoliosis, and lordosis. Through this education, participants gained awareness about the importance of maintaining good daily habits to support healthy posture.

Abstract

Chemistry learning in high school is still dominated by conventional approaches that inadequately develop creative thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a project-based scientific approach on the creative thinking skills and chemistry problem-solving ability of senior high school students. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group that implemented the project-based scientific approach and a control group that used conventional learning. The research sample consisted of 68 eleventh-grade students divided into two groups. Research instruments included a creative thinking skills test, a chemistry problem-solving ability test, learning observation sheets, and a student response questionnaire. Abstract

Inventory control problems are crucial issues often faced by heavy equipment distributors that provide various types of spare parts and supporting components. Inaccuracy in managing the availability of goods can hamper after-sales service, which ultimately reduces customer satisfaction levels. Conversely, excess inventory has the potential to cause wasteful storage costs, stockpiling, and increased risk of damage or obsolescence of goods. This study aims to evaluate the inventory control system implemented by the company through the ABC classification approach, considering the determination of safety stock and the application of reorder points as part of the inventory optimization strategy. The results of the analysis show that the application of the ABC classification method can increase the accuracy of demand estimates by up to 84%, which has a positive impact on increasing the company's profitability. However, safety stock management still shows weaknesses, especially in the fast-moving goods category, where the inventory level approaches zero. This condition has the potential to cause delays in delivery to consumers. Therefore, a review and improvement of inventory control policies are needed to ensure the continuity of service and the overall operational efficiency of the company.

Abstract

Background: The health of children under five years of age is a crucial factor for the survival of future generations. Therefore, continuous assessment of the nutritional status of toddlers is crucial to determine their nutritional status. Purpose: To determine the nutritional status of toddlers aged 0-59 months in Magetan Regency, East Java Province. Method: This study was a quantitative descriptive study. The population was all 28,239 toddlers in Magetan Regency. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The sample size was 584 toddlers. Data were taken from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI). Data were collected using questionnaires and anthropometric measurements. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate chi-square tests. Results: The nutritional status of toddlers aged 0-59 months was assessed based on age/weight and age/height. The majority had normal weight and height. Conclusion: There is a relationship between weight and height in the nutritional status of toddlers in Magetan Regency. Suggestion: Maintaining the health, growth, and development of toddlers is expected to always involve Posyandu cadres, namely by increasing the role of Posyandu cadres in monitoring the nutritional status of toddlers and in providing nutritional education to the community, and actively involving the community in health and nutrition programs and forming mother support groups to share information and experiences regarding child nutrition. Keywords: Maternal Support; Nutritional Status; Toddler Pendahuluan: Kesehatan anak di bawah usia lima tahun adalah faktor penting untuk kelangsungan hidup generasi mendatang, sehingga penilaian status gizi balita penting dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk mengetahui status gizi balita. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran status gizi balita usia 0-59 bulan di Kabupaten Magetan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua balita yang berada di kabupaten Magetan bejumlah 28.239 balita. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan Accidental Sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 584 balita.data diambil dari hasil Survei Kesehatan Indonesia(SKI) tahun 2023. Data diambil dengan mengumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan hasil pengukuran antopometri. Data di analisis dengan univarat dan bivariate Chi-Square. Hasil: Status gizi pada balita usia 0-59 ditinjau berdasarkan umur/berat serta umur/tinggi badan badan mayoritas memiliki berat badan dan tinggi badan normal. Simpulan: Ada hubungan berat badan dengan tinggi badan pada status gizi balita di Kabupaten Magetan. Saran: Mempertahankan kesehatan, pertumbuhan, dan perkembangan balita maka diharapkan dapat selalu melibatan kader posyandu, yaitu dengan meningkatkan peran kader posyandu dalam pemantauan status gizi balita dan dalam memberikan edukasi gizi kepada masyarakat, dan libatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam program-program kesehatan dan gizi serta membentuk kelompok-kelompok dukungan ibu untuk saling berbagi informasi dan pengalaman mengenai nutrisi anak. Abstract

Introduction: The application of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) culture is very important as an effort to prevent work accidents in the work environment. The implementation of OHS at the University must be carried out, because the University is a busy place and is a means of studying. Major of Health Student was spent 70% in laboratories from all study. Objective: The purpose of this study is to describe knowledge, attitudes, and actions about health and safety. Occupational Safety for UNUSA Health Analyst D-IV Study Program students. This study used a descriptive research design with an observational quantitative approach with a cross sectional design. Method: This study uses primary data collected through a questionnaire. The sample of this study was D-IV Health Analyst students, totalling 180 people. Result and Discussion: The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge of Health Analyst students on good criteria is 69.4%, the positive attitude of Health Analyst students is 77.2% and the positive action of Health Analyst students is 77.2%. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the overall level of knowledge, attitudes, and actions of Health Analyst students on Occupational Health and Safety is good

Abstract

Praktiknya pendaftaran hak tanggungan yang telah terintergrasi secara elektronik masih sering terjadi problematika mengenai teknis administratif serta gangguan server yang mengakibatkan penolakan permohonan pendaftaran hak tanggungan elektronik. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini, mengenai akibat hukum terhadap kreditor dengan adanya penolakan permohonan hak tanggungan elektronik dan perlindungan hukum terhadap kreditor dengan adanya penolakan permohonan hak tanggungan elektronik.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian yuridis normatif, yaitu penelitian Penelitian yuridis Normatif adalah pendekatan menggunakan perangkat peraturan perundang-undangan dan bahan hukum lainnya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa akibat hukum dari penolakan permohonan hak tanggungan elektronik membuat kreditor hanya berkedudukan sebagai kreditor konkuren yang tidak memiliki hak preferen, apabila debitor wanprestasi, kreditor tidak dapat mengeksekusi objek jaminan karena sertipikat hak tanggungan tidak lahir dan tidak memiliki kekuatan eksekutorial. Perlindungan hukum secara preventif yang tercermin melalui kewajiban negara untuk menyediakan sistem pendaftaran yang andal, sehingga tidak merugikan hak kreditor, agar kreditor tetap memiliki kepastian hukum.

Abstract

Wali adhal or reluctant guardian can be explained as a wali nasab who refuses to allow the marriage of the bride-to-be. Because of this refusal, the bride-to-be had to file a case with the local religious court. This application was filed to ask the judge to appoint a guardian in place of the guardian who refused. The Sleman Religious Court, in the context of the Yogyakarta Special Region Province, recorded the highest number of guardian petitions from 2019 to 2021. This study aims to analyze the sociological factors of Islamic law behind court decisions related to the case of wali adhal number 104/Pdt.P/2021/PA. Smn at the Sleman Religious Court. This research uses a qualitative approach that combines field research, interviews, and literature research. The approach used is the approach of the sociology of Islamic law. The result of the determination of the case of the guardian adhal number 104/Pdt.P/2021/PA. Smn revealed that the judge considered factors such as the absence of shari'i barriers to marriage and the reasons put forward by the wali nasab were not in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Shari'a. Finally, based on these considerations in the trial, the judge ruled that the female wali nasab was declared as wali adhal.
