Abstract

This study analyzes factors influencing vocational high school (SMK) teachers' performance using the Rasch Model. It examines the impact of teaching experience, employment status, certification, and educational qualification on four competencies: Learning Planning and Implementation (LPI), Professionalism Development and Learning Media (PDL), Administration and Ethics in Teaching (AET), and Evaluation, Guidance, and Learning Innovation (EGL). A quantitative survey was conducted with 452 vocational teachers in Lampung Province. Data were analyzed using Rasch Model fit statistics, Differential Item Functioning (DIF), and Wright Map analysis to evaluate teacher competency levels and assessment validity. The results show that teaching experience significantly influences performance, with senior teachers excelling in AET and EGL. Civil servant teachers (PNS) demonstrate greater consistency, while honorary teachers show higher adaptability. Certified teachers perform better in structured pedagogy but show less engagement in instructional innovation. Postgraduate teachers (S2) participate more in professional development but exhibit varied teaching approaches. The Wright Map confirms a strong differentiation in competency levels, while DIF analysis highlights the need for targeted training interventions. The study recommends structured mentorship for junior teachers, advanced training for mid-career educators, and leadership programs for senior teachers. It contributes to teacher assessment research by applying Rasch Model-based psychometric analysis in vocational education. Unlike traditional studies, this research integrates Rasch Model and DIF analysis for a more precise evaluation of teacher performance.

Abstract

The information system that is often used in higher education institutions is the Academic Information System which is used as Academic data processing by utilizing computer technology both in the form of 'hardware' and 'software'. In this study the author uses the Webqual 4.0 method to carry out measurement of improvements, in service services. The Academic Information System is used as a proposal for improving the quality of information services, which is oriented towards student satisfaction. Measuring the level of user satisfaction can be done using the Webqual 4.0 method. This research is a survey research that uses a questionnaire to measure the satisfaction level of web site users according to the Webqual 4.0 model. The dimensions used in the preparation of the questionnaire consisted of information quality, service quality and user convenience. The questionnaire made was tested for validity and reliability, then distributed to 30 respondents. The method used to carry out data analysis was multiple linear regression analysis. The study / analysis conducted from 3 variables of webqual 4.0, the variable, namely the usability interaction, still has not provided a positive relationship with the user satisfaction variable (Satisfaction). Improvement efforts that must be made are increasing the interaction variable Usability (usability) in the Academic Information System of STMIK Amikom Surakarta. Abstract

The New Order era in Indonesia was characterized by the hegemony of the power holders at that time. The New Order government was synonymous with Soeharto's authoritarian rule, including in politics. During his reign, Soeharto controlled power by consolidating political parties into three major parties. However, the most influential party was Golkar, which at the time of the election became the winning party in almost every province in Indonesia. Despite Golkar's hegemony, the winning party in Aceh was PPP. This article discusses the birth and development of PPP in Aceh using qualitative methods by collecting sources from various libraries and archives as well as interviews. This method was used to find out why PPP was able to resist Golkar's hegemony in Aceh and to develop and be accepted by the people of Aceh.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the influence of motivation on the career planning of prospective educators, specifically students of the faculty of teacher training and education, from the perspectives of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.Method – This research employs a quantitative approach using SEM-PLS to analyze the relationships between independent and dependent variables. Data were collected using questionnaires with a Likert scale to measure each indicator. The study sample consisted of 100 pre-service teacher students from various education programs, including Elementary Teacher Education, Chemistry Education, Physics Education, Biology Education, Guidance and Counselling, Early Childhood Education, Mathematics Education, and Physical Education. Respondents were drawn from different semesters, specifically the first and third semesters. Statistical tests were conducted using outer loading, composite reliability, Average Variance Extracted, P-value, Adjusted R-Square, and F-Square. Findings – The influence of motivation on career planning has a p-value (0,000) < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant relationship. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.349 demonstrates that 34.9% of the dependent variable (career planning) can be explained by the independent variable (motivation, which includes intrinsic and extrinsic motivation). Research Implications – Practically, the results highlight the importance for educational institutions to design programs that strengthen both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation among prospective educators. Providing career guidance, mentorship programs, and opportunities for professional development can foster better career planning. Theoretically, this research contributes to the body of knowledge in career development studies by confirming the significant role of motivational factors in shaping career planning among future educators.

Abstract

Abad 21 akan terus berjalan tanpa mengenal kata ‘berhenti’ sedikitpun,  dan oleh karena pergeseran ini akan semakin jauh apabila tak mengikutnya, khususnya bagi umat Kristiani di Indonesia yang harus semakin tanggap, serta merespon dengan sigap kebutuhan yang vital untuk memperlengkapi para hamba Tuhan. Khususnya dalam hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan okultisme (kepercayaan kepada kekuatan gaib yang dapat dikuasai manusia atau kajian tentang kekuatan gaib-KBBI),  sebenarnya setiap umat-Nya telah memahami dengan sangat jelas bahwa di Indonesia memiliki banyak suku dan budaya sehingga tak lepas begitu saja, serta beberapa dari wilayah di Nusantara berkaitan erat dengan okultisme, bahkan ironinya mereka menyadari bahwa itu perbuatan ‘dosa’, namun mereka tetap melakukannya oleh karena terkungkung kebudayaannya masing-masing. Demikian pula bagi umat Kristiani yang tersebar di seluruh pelosok di Indonesia, dan dalam hal ini bahwa Misi Kristen harus menambah wawasan dalam berjemaat yang sangat majemuk, sehingga wajar untuk memahami pengetahuan tentang okultisme sangat diperlukan, dan sepatutnya dimiliki setiap gereja yang ada di seluruh pelosok  negeri ini. Sehingga Misi Kristen yang menyangkut okultisme dibutuhkan untuk menambah pemahaman yang lebih dalam, dan tentunya hal ini bersifat dinamis dikarenakan dalam melayani bidang okultisme juga memantau dampak-dampak akibatnya.Meskipun tidak terlalu banyak penjelasan secara terperinci dalam Alkitab, namun prinsip-prinsip dalam menangani untuk pelayanan doa pelepasan para hamba Tuhan menyebutnya dan dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus. Kemudian dalam menangani kasus-kasus yang berkaitan dengan okultisme ini (pelayanan doa pelepasan) sangat membutuhkan hikmat-Nya dalam mengerjakan pelayanan ini, seperti: urut-urutan, tindakan, pencegahan; bahkan untuk persiapan dalam melayani dan juga yang dilayaninya. Seharusnya memantau bagi mereka yang telah dilayani secara bertahap agar sesudah dilayani bersedia dipantau  (sepakat dengan perjanjian sebelum melayani), serta akan memperoleh hasil yang lebih maksimal. Akhirnya dalam Misi Kristen ini akan membuat orang-orang beriman semakin kuat dan militan serta kesatuan umat Kristiani yang ada di Indonesia makin kokoh. Dalam hal ini terutama bagi generasi muda, dan pasti berdampak positif untuk memperkaya atau memperlengkapi wawasan bagi seluruh gereja yang ada di Indonesia, secara para hamba Tuhan.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze instruments related to self-confidence, motivation, and career planning in education. A well-designed instrument must be free from bias to prevent misinterpretation during use. Errors in instrument design can lead to invalid results. Therefore, instrument validation is necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. The research was conducted on students majoring in educational sciences within the faculty of teacher training and education. A total of 100 respondents from various study programs participated in the pilot test. The instrument consists of 90 items divided across three variables with seven indicators. The validity and reliability of the instruments will be evaluated, and those that do not meet the criteria will be excluded to maintain the quality of the research.

Abstract

Infinite feeds have conditioned us to think of engagement metrics — such as clicks, views, and watch time — as a shorthand for media efficacy. But participation is a behavioral proxy, not a societal endpoint. This editorial review reframes a media effects research agenda in terms more suitable for exposure–experience–effect and further proposes a pragmatic approach that incorporates equity and public value, in addition to impact. (1) situate engagement in historical and recent effects lines of thinking, (2) diagnose methodological and ethical limitations to a focus on one’s audience as a measurable object, (3) offer an alternative triad of measurement–mechanism–meaningful change and a four-family schema for outcomes including informational quality, personal well-being, civic capacity, and cultural agency; (4) provide mixed-methods designs along with subgroup approaches for causal inference and distributional harms; and (5) translate the rethinking into checklists for authors, reviewers, and designers. We contend that the role of media-effects research is to inform us about what changes, for whom, and at what cost, not just how long attention can be held. The article concludes with standards and statements that can be adopted directly into editorials.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis adanya pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran teams games tournament berbantuan media visual word search puzzle terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design.Sampel dalam penelitian peserta didik kelas V dengan jumlah 17 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa fhitung=15,66 ≥ ftabel=4,54. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran teams games tournament berbantuan media visual word search puzzle terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia.Keywords: learning results, media word search puzzle, model teams games tournament DOI: 10.23960/jmmp .v12.i1.2024.04

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi akademik di SDIT. Jenis penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Perencanaan supervisi akademik telah berjalan dengan baik, seperti mempersiapkan hal-hal yang diperlukan diantaranya merumuskan tujuan dan kriteria output, menetapkan jadwal, memilih pendekatan dan teknik yang digunakan, dan memilih instrumen yang sudah disepakati. 2) Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik sudah berjalan dengan baik, teknik yang digunakan yaitu kunjungan kelas dan supervisi klinis. Kepala sekolah sebelum mensupervisi mengadakan pembinaan atau diskusi kepada guru, selanjutnya melaksanakan kunjungan kelas sesuai jadwal untuk mengamati kesesuaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah disiapkan guru, kemudian memanggil guru yang telah disupervisi ke ruangan kepala sekolah untuk evaluasi hasil observasi kelas. 3) Tindak lanjut hasil supervisi akademik dilakukan dengan mengadakan umpan balik secara langsung, penguatan berupa motivasi, penghargaan berupa ungkapan apresiasi, serta pembinaan dan pelatihan untuk membina dan mengembangkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan guru.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the sensory quality, consumer acceptability, and business feasibility of a novel fukien product made from Banjar mackerel and partially substituted with Belitung taro flour (Xanthosoma sagittifolium), named "Fukimpul." Sensory quality tests were conducted using organoleptic and hedonic assessments on three substitution levels (20%, 30%, and 40%) for parameters such as internal color, mackerel taste, taro taste, umami flavor, fresh mackerel aroma, taro aroma, and texture. The 20% substitution level yielded the highest overall scores in sensory evaluation and consumer preference tests involving 100 panelists. Based on these findings, a start-up business model was developed using a pre-order production system and social media-based distribution. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied to analyze market potential, production design, organizational structure, and financial viability. The results demonstrate that Fukimpul has strong market competitiveness, favorable consumer responses (with a Customer Satisfaction Index of 97.1%), and a break-even point projected at 10.7 months. The study concludes that a 20% substitution of Belitung taro flour provides the best sensory and acceptability outcomes and recommends Fukimpul as a practical, nutritious, and scalable ready-to-cook product for sustainable local entrepreneurship.
