Abstract

While research on electronic payment adoption has been explored extensively, an in-depth investigation into the critical factors that motivate ferry passengers to utilize the QRIS application for paying port levies is of utmost importance. This study is important for optimizing levy management processes and enhancing overall efficiency. In our study, we engaged 424 ferry passengers, harnessing an expanded Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that integrates considerations of compatibility, experience, and technology anxiety. This comprehensive approach enables us to thoroughly evaluate the willingness of passengers to embrace QRIS for their payment needs. Employing the PLS-SEM methodology, our findings reveal compelling insights: both perceived usefulness and perceived convenience play pivotal roles in shaping passengers' attitudes and intentions to adopt QRIS. Notably, while compatibility significantly influences attitudes, it surprisingly does not affect the intention to use the application. Moreover, we found that experience does not sway attitudes or intentions, and while technology anxiety does not significantly affect attitudes but does influence the intention to use QRIS. Crucially, the attitudes towards usage serve as a powerful mediating factor, significantly amplifying the intention to adopt the QRIS application. By understanding these dynamics, we can enhance the implementation of electronic payment systems in ferry operations, ultimately driving greater efficiency and satisfaction among users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of mobile shopping, brand experience, and shopping enjoyment on customer brand identification and repurchase intention in local fashion brands. It is proposed to address a gap where prior research overlooks these factors' interplay for Indonesian brands, focusing instead on international contexts or price/promotions. A total of 312 respondents from Batam City participated in this study. Quantitative and associative approach design is applied in this study, in order to measure the quantity of data with relevant statistical procedures, especially with the SEM-PLS. The results of the study indicate that the use of mobile shopping is not significant to boost customer brand identification. On the contrary, positive consumer experience with the brand and shopping pleasure have been shown to influence customer brand identification. Strong brand identification significantly increases repurchase intention. This research is expected to provide a new contribution to the literature on consumer behavior in the fashion industry, particularly in the context of mobile shopping. This research provides practical guidance for marketers and local fashion brands in designing effective marketing strategies, especially in improving a pleasant shopping experience, creating a positive brand experience, and utilizing the mobile shopping potential to increase purchasing interest.

Abstract

This study used PLS (Partial Least Squares) to examine and understand the factors that support and hinder e-customer loyalty on e-commerce websites. Research data was collected through a survey of 300 individuals who are actual consumers of e-commerce websites. The results of the PLS data analysis indicate that e-service quality has a significant positive influence on e-service satisfaction and e-service trust. It was also found that e-brand image has a strong positive influence on e-service satisfaction, e-service trust, and e-customer loyalty. Furthermore, it was determined that e-service satisfaction positively affects e-customer loyalty, whereas e-service trust does not. This study also shows that the overall quality of e-service, mediated by e-service satisfaction and e-service trust, has a substantial impact on e-customer loyalty, but the mediation path of e-service trust does not produce significant results. The conclusion that can be drawn is that to increase customer loyalty, e-commerce companies need to place more emphasis on improving service quality and good brand image, as well as paying attention to customer satisfaction. The recommendation is that companies should simultaneously strengthen service quality and brand image and prioritize these factors.

Abstract

The swift progression of digital technology has significantly increased public dependence on internet services, intensifying competition within the internet service provider (ISP) industry. In this context, identifying the key drivers of customer satisfaction and loyalty becomes critical, particularly in developing urban areas such as Batam City. This research seeks to analyze the influence of product quality, information quality, and experience quality on customer satisfaction, as well as their subsequent implications for customer loyalty. The theoretical foundation of this research is grounded in service quality theory, customer satisfaction theory, and customer loyalty literature within service marketing. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected through online questionnaires from 322 ISP users in Batam City. The findings highlight the importance of product and experience quality in improving customer satisfaction, while information quality appears to play a limited role. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a strong and significant effect on customer loyalty and serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between product quality and experience quality with customer loyalty. The study concludes that enhancing technical performance and customer experience is critical for fostering customer satisfaction and supporting sustained customer loyalty in the ISP industry.
