Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan manajemen keuangan bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di KJRI Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Seiring dengan banyaknya PMI yang bekerja di luar negeri, khususnya di Malaysia, literasi keuangan menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk dikuasai agar mereka dapat mengelola pendapatan dengan lebih bijaksana dan memaksimalkan kesejahteraan finansial mereka dan keluarga. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi kegiatan diantaranya adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan manajemen keuangan sederhana, dan pendampingan dalam membuat perencanaan keuangan. Materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan tersebut sangat beragam dimana mencakup pentingnya menabung, investasi dasar, pengelolaan utang, dan cara menghindari penipuan keuangan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran para PMI akan pentingnya literasi keuangan, serta memberikan mereka keterampilan praktis untuk mengelola pendapatan dengan lebih baik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih mampu menyusun anggaran, menyisihkan pendapatan untuk tabungan, dan membuat rencana keuangan jangka panjang. Dampak positif seperti ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut dan membantu PMI dalam mencapai stabilitas keuangan dan kesejahteraan yang lebih baik. Kata kunci—Literasi Keuangan, Pekerja Migran Indonesia, Manajemen Keuangan, KJRI Johor Bahru Abstract This community service activity aims to enhance financial literacy and management skills among Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) at the Indonesian Consulate General in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Given the large number of PMI working abroad, particularly in Malaysia, financial literacy is crucial to help them manage their income wisely and maximize their financial well-being and that of their families. The methods employed in this activity include counseling, basic financial management training, and mentoring in financial planning. The material presented covers topics such as the importance of saving, basic investment, debt management, and how to avoid financial fraud. The activity successfully improved the participants' understanding and awareness of the importance of financial literacy and provided them with practical skills to better manage their income. Evaluation results indicated that participants became more capable of budgeting, setting aside income for savings, and making long-term financial plans. This positive impact is expected to be sustained and assist PMI in achieving better financial stability and well-being. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of violence, bullying and intolerance on young children at the Al-Ikhsan Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative approach involves in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, and students to gain in-depth perspectives on their experiences and perceptions regarding violence, bullying, and intolerance. Meanwhile, the quantitative approach uses questionnaires distributed to all students and parents to measure the frequency, type and impact of these events. The research results show that violence, bullying and intolerance have a significant impact on children's emotional and social development. Children who experience violence and bullying tend to show symptoms of stress, anxiety and decreased academic performance. In addition, intolerance in the school environment can hinder the development of tolerance and cooperation among children. This research emphasizes the importance of early intervention and educational programs that focus on developing social and emotional skills to create safe and inclusive learning environments.

Abstract

Instilling religious values with the habit of praying, there are still many children who have not been able to get used to this because there is no habit at home and at school regarding good and correct prayer procedures. This research aims to examine the role of parents and the school environment in instilling religious values, especially the habit of praying, in children. The research method used is qualitative literature study. This research uses secondary data sources based on the result of activities carried out by children at school. The observation method is carried out as a guide to provide solutions to problem that occur. The research results show that parents have a crucial role models in teaching and accustoming children to prayer. The school environment also plays an important role by creating an atmosphere that supports the habit of praying through religious the example of teachers. Collaboration between parents and schools is very necessary to create consistency in the habit of praying, both at home and at school. Good communication, consistent support, and joint activities between parents and schools can strengthen the instillation of religious values in children, sgo that children can develop strong and sustainable prayer habits.

Abstract

Character education in early childhood, especially the value of honesty, is an important aspect in forming a positive personality. This article explores the use of the animated film "Riko The Series" as a learning medium for developing honest characters in early childhood. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained from analysis of dialogue in films, while secondary data was obtained from previous research. The analysis results show that this film conveys a moral message, especially the value of honesty, through interactions between characters. This film depicts the daily life of a child who is religious, independent and honest. Specific episodes from season 4 of Riko The Series show a strong emphasis on honesty and responsibility. In conclusion, the animated film "Riko The Series" has great potential as a supporting tool in forming honest characters in early childhood.

Abstract

Artikel ini bermaksud untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah penguasaan kompetensi profesional guru PPKn dan faktor apa yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di Prodi PPKn FISH UNESA ini mengambil sampel 86 mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan Praktik Pengalaman Pembelajaran (PPP). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes dan angket yang dikembangkan peneliti. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa mereka memiliki kompetensi profesional guru yang cukup baik. Temuan ini konsisten dengan gambaran tentang sikap, minat, dan motivasinya serta pengalaman belajar yang juga berada pada kategori cukup. Kompetensi ini masih perlu diperbaiki, salah satunya dengan mengoptimalkan proses belajarnya.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This essay to describe the level of comprehension of professional competency among PPKn teachers and its factors influencing these competencies. The research was conducted at Study Program of PPKn, FIHS UNESA with 86 selected students being taking course). Data was collected through questionnaire, and test developed by the researcher. The result reveals that they have an adequate professional competency. This result is consistent with the levels of attitude, interest, motivation, and learning experience. This level should be up-graded, one of them through learning process.

Abstract

Local wisdom is an issue that is now widely discussed to integrate into learning including social studies learning. Tiban is one of the arts in East Java which has noble values ​​that can be integrated into social studies learning. This research aims to analyze how to integrate local wisdom in the art of Tiban in social studies learning using a PjBL model. This research used a qualitative approach using literature study methods. Data collection was carried out with the help of search engines. Articles were selected based on the suitability of the theme with a time limit starting from 2019 to 2023. The results were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The study results show that Tiban arts has many noble values that can be integrated into social studies learning include 1) divinity/religiousness, 2) humanity, 3) unity, and 4) deliberation. Integrating these noble values could be used in several philosophical foundations. Coupled with PjBL, it can incorporate process skills. So, transformative social studies learning uses a PjBL model, providing cognitive knowledge and transformation in attitudes and life skills. The results of this research can be used as a basis for developing social studies learning designs that integrate noble values through PjBL

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Pengaruh Media Angklung Interaktif terhadap Revitalisasi Motivasi Belajar Siswa SD di Masa Pandemi ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa yang rentan mengalami kebosanan yang akan mempengaruhi motivasi siswa dalam belajar secara daring. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kembali motivasi belajar siswa dengan berfokus pada pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis kebudayaan yang dimiliki Bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, masalah akan dideskripsikan melalui kata-kata dengan meminimalisir penggunaan angka-angka, proses mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dilakukan secara naratif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian di SD Negeri Pandanwangi Jombang dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini menerapkan beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap pra lapangan, tahap pengerjaan lapangan, analisis data dan pembuatan laporan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan disimpulkan bahwa media angklung interaktif yang diterapkan dalam materi Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa khususnya di masa pandemi Covid-19, melalui media pembelajaran angklung interaktif ini semangat siswa dalam belajar mulai bertumbuh dan kembali dikobarkan lagi.

Abstract

This research is development research, namely the development of learning media with Lectora Inspire to improve the critical thinking skills of class VI students. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Researchers used a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a One-shot Case Study. The subjects of this study were 37 students of class VI B at SDN Wonokusumo VI/45 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. Research produces learning media with a decent Lectora Inspire that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In the trial, the classical learning completeness was 91.89%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of 3D animation products in improving learning outcomes and internalizing character values. The subject of the device trial was carried out on students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bahrul Ulum Surabaya. Research design using Pre-Experimental. The form is in the form of a One-Shot Case Study. In this design there is a group given treatment and observed (Q). Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observations, interviews and questionnaires. So the conclusion of this study is that the development of animated media in learning material on ethnic and cultural diversity in the classroom can provide alternative interactive media. There is an increase in the use of animated media in learning material on ethnic and cultural diversity. The use of animation media on ethnic and cultural diversity material provides maximum completeness value.

Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted to analyze the profile of caring and responsible characters of inclusive students in high school. The main focus of this study is to analyze the caring and responsible characters possessed by inclusive students at the high school level. Based on this focus, the formulation of the problem in this study is how the profile of caring and responsible characters of inclusive students in high school. The substance of this study focuses on describing the caring and responsible characters of inclusive students and the factors that influence the caring and responsible characters of inclusive students. Method: The research method used is descriptive and does not conduct hypothesis testing with a sample of 3 teachers, namely 1 GPK teacher, 1 BK teacher, 1 subject teacher, 1 non-inclusive student, and 2 inclusive students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, where each sample was taken from a representative level of inclusive participants. Data collection was carried out at Public Senior High School 1 (SMAN 1) Gedangan, East Java. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and observations whose data results would be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Results: The results of the data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that 1) the caring and responsible character of inclusive students is low and because the social character of inclusive students is also low. 2) Students' self-confidence is low because they feel alone at school and do not have friends who understand them. 3) Some teachers sometimes pay less attention to inclusive students when teaching and focus more on regular students. 4) Regular friends in class sometimes still underestimate and do not embrace inclusive friends. Novelty: What is new in this study is the focus on inclusive students at the high school level, integrating the analysis of two main characters, namely caring and responsibility, in one comprehensive study, and considering the specific context of inclusive schools at the high school level and providing insight into how caring and responsible characters develop in diverse environments. This is important because the dynamics and challenges in inclusive schools are different from regular schools.
