Abstract

This research aims to reveal how the concept of employee development management implemented by BPMP DI Yogyakarta optimizes work performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has necessitated that all activities be conducted online, which has created some impediments to employee development, such as instability of the internet network, passive participants, and distractions in the participant environment. This qualitative study uses purposive sampling to select subjects who are knowledgeable, experienced, and understanding of the research theme. Employee development programs at BPMP DI Yogyakarta include institutional development, career development, and education and training. The program has been implemented properly and accurately through the implementation of management functions, including planning, organizing, actuating, controlling, and evaluating. The role of employee development management is illustrated by the increase in the achievement of the SAKIP value of BPMP DI Yogyakarta by 7.9 points in the 2019-2021 period. Additionally, BPMP DI Yogyakarta achieved the ZI-WBK predicate in 2020. These two achievements demonstrate that the employee development management carried out by BPMP Yogyakarta is effective and has successfully optimized employee and institutional performance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Narcotics, Alcohol, Psychotropics and Addictive Substances (NAPZA) are the causes of human anxiety disorders, a psychological, pedagogical and physical disorder that affects an individual's existence in social life. The presence of Islamic boarding schools is a forum for rehabilitating drug users spiritually which affects their spiritual and physical health. The purpose of this research is to find an effective drug rehabilitation model design through a religious approach in Islamic boarding schools as reference for policy makers in implementing the drug rehabilitation model. This research was conducted at Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School Palembang, Tetirah Dzikir Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta, Al-Islamy Kulon Progo Islamic Boarding School, Hafara Yogyakarta Rehabilitation Institution, Ainul Yakin Gunung Kidul Islamic Boarding School, and Utsman Bin Affan Qur'anic Healing Riau Islamic Boarding School which implements the concept of a rehabilitation Islamic boarding school with religious power in it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used consist of primary data sources through in-depth interviews with managers of rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools, National Narcotics Agency, victims of drug users, communities around Islamic boarding schools. Secondary data sources are in the form of guidelines for the management of drug rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools and reports on the rehabilitation process. The data analysis technique refers to the concept of Miles and Huberman with the stages of domain analysis, tacsonomic analysis, componential analysis, discovery cultural themes. The results of this study indicate that religiosity power therapy is proven to be able to rehabilitate drug users through the stages of activities in it in the form of qur'anic healing, verbal-careful-deed dhikr, night prayers, congregational prayers, safar, pilgrimages, bathing in repentance, spiritual rituals, seminars and religious motivation. The sociopedagogical form of religiosity power therapy model practiced in these six Islamic boarding schools starts from the initial acceptance which includes registration, rapid test, urine test and service orientation of the intake program. Then proceed with the program orientation with detoxification or stabilization, exercise, rest, and health checks. In the next stage, the patient can join the program, namely joining the rehabilitation program from community therapy, spiritual therapy, psychological therapy, social therapy, and medical therapy. Or after the toxification is complete, you can also choose another alternative, namely outpatient care. The program then underwent a recognition period and program re-entry by providing skills, both soft skills and hard skills. And the last is the complete program determined by the counselor to be able to go home. Theoretically-practically, the results of this study contribute to the importance of collaborative therapeutic practice between medical, religious-practice, and pedagogical for drug victims. For policy makers, it can be considered as a way of providing moral and material support to educational institutions/drug rehabilitation institutes, so that these community institutions can function more in solving drug-related problems.

One of the popular efforts is the implementation of School-Based Quality Improvement Management. (MP-MBS). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing school-based quality improvement management and its impact on the quality of education at MA Plus Yanmu NW Praya. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, the data validity technique uses triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources. The research results show that MA Plus Yanmu NW Praya has successfully implemented School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS) by integrating the government curriculum and pesantren curriculum, producing graduates who excel academically, are globally competitive, and possess Islamic character. Excellence in English and Arabic, supported by human resource management, facility upgrades, and technology, has become the main competitive edge. However, challenges such as curriculum integration, infrastructure, and time management are still being faced. To address this, the madrasah optimizes communication, teacher training, and facility improvements, strengthening its position as an excellent educational model and positively contributing to society.

Abstract

Micro-entrepreneurship in the property sector, particularly in rental shop-house (ruko) businesses, represents a promising strategy for fostering asset-based economic independence. However, limited research has explored female entrepreneurship practices through the lens of Islamic values, especially among MSME actors in semi-urban areas. This study aims to analyze the practice of Islamic edupreneurship in a ruko rental business managed by Ibu Sunaryati in Inderapura. A qualitative approach was employed using an exploratory case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the main entrepreneur, tenants, and community figures; participatory observation of business activities; and documentation of legal aspects such as lease contracts and building certificates. Thematic analysis was conducted using the Integrated Islamic Entrepreneurship Model (IIEM), which is grounded in three pillars: asset Islamization, entrepreneurial education values, and communal barakah (blessing). The findings reveal that this ruko rental business functions not only as a source of passive income but also embodies Islamic values such as ikhlas (sincerity), amanah (responsibility), and barakah in its daily operations. Business success is supported by a modular strategy, the application of sharia-compliant contracts (akad), and relationship management rooted in akhlaqul karimah (noble character). The study concludes that Islamic edupreneurship holds strong potential as an adaptive and sustainable model for micro-entrepreneurship. Its implications suggest that this model can be replicated by female MSME actors as a spiritually grounded approach to economic empowerment and asset-based prosperity.

Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study, then analysed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the organisational culture at SMP Negeri 4 Langsa stems from the values of religiosity, discipline, and togetherness that are internalised in school routines. These values create a conducive learning climate, strengthen teacher professionalism through collaboration and learning reflection, and foster active participation from the entire school community. The participatory leadership of the principal is a key factor in fostering a sense of ownership and collective responsibility for the quality of the institution. Abstract
