Abstract

This research aimed to assess the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with concept mapping on cognitive learning outcomes of student and learning activities of student in physic learning at MAN 2 Jember. This type of research is experimental research by post-test only control design. Population in this study were students of class X at MAN 2 Jember. The research conducted on odd semester of academic year 2016/2017. Samples were taken with cluster random sampling. The methods to collect data in this research are test, observation, interviews and documentation. The cognitive learning outcomes were obtained from control and experimental classesby the post-test. The technique of data analysis cognitive learning outcomes with independent samples t-test. The significance value (1-tailed) <0.05 is 0.0115 <0.05, it can be concluded model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with concept mapping effect on cognitive learning outcomes of student in physic learning at MAN 2 Jember. Learning activities of student were obtained from observed. The technique of data analysis learning activities of student with independent samples t-test. The significance value (1-tailed) <0.05 is 0.004 <0.05, it can be concluded model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) with concept mapping effect on learning activities of student in physic learning at MAN 2 Jember. Abstract

Abstract The research aimed to improved the learning activity and learning outcomes ofcognitive students about the concept of physics with cooperative learning model typethink pair share in students grade XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Jember in the lesson of 2017/2018,with 34 students. The type of research was classroom action research. The research consisted two cycles, began with the initial activity cycle. The result of the research wasanalyzed descriptively consisted of two indicators such as learning activity and learningoutcomes research. The learning activity of student got average value on cycle I equal to52% which enter in category enough active and at second cycle equal to 77% included inactive category. While for the study results obtained from the average score for the firstcycle of 67 in the category enough and the second cycle of 77 included in either categorywith 80% completeness. It can be concluded that the application of type of cooperativelearning model type Think pair share (TPS) can increase student activity and learningoutcomes about physics class XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Jember.Keywords: Activity of Learrning, Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS), Results of learning

Abstract

Development of real events image-based module is a develop of material on physics learning that presents real events images or physics phenomenon that are used to clear up a physics concepts to make it easier to be learnt by students independently.The purposes of this research are to describe the validity of real events image-based module, students’ learning achievement, and students’ learning activities. This type of research is the development, use research design Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques used are sheets of validation, observation, interview and test. Real events image-based module is said good and decent to be used for teaching physics in senior high school if the product’s validity has been tested through logic validity and user validity. Real events image-based module is valid if the logic validity and user validity are > 60,00%. Conclution of this research are : (1) logic validity and user validity real events image-based module are 85,15% and 90,23% with a very valid category. (2) Student’ learning achievement after using real events image-based module is 84,8 with a very good, and (3) students’ learning activities using real events image-based module is 88,5% with a very active. Abstract

This research related on the influence of Guided Inquiry learning model for learning outcomes physics in SMA. The purpose of this research were: 1) to examines the significance of the effect of Guided Inquiry model on the activities of students studying physics; and 2) to examines the significance of the effect of Guided Inquiry model on the cognitive learning physics students. Kind of this research is experiment by post-test only control design. Population of this research is 10th at SMAN 1 Wongsorejo. Technique to the collection of data were: test, observation, documentation, and interviews. Technique to data analysis were: Independent-sample T-test (parametric test). The results showed that there were significant differences between student’s learning activities physics experimental class and control class with value Sig.(1-tailed) < 0.05 was 0.000. Meanwhile, the results also showed that there were significant differences between the cognitive learning physics class students experiment and control class with value Sig. (1-tailed) < 0.05 was 0.000. The research can be concluded that: (1) guided inquiry learning model significantly influence the activity of students studying physics in SMA; and (2) guided inquiry learning model a significant effect on the cognitive learning physics students in SMA. Abstract

This study focus examined the implementation model discovery learning with worksheets student to physic instruction at SMA. The purposes of this research was to examine the effect model discovery learning process science skills, learning motivation, and learning achievement to physics at SMA. The population in this study was X class and the sample are X MIA-5 and X MIA-6 were of SMAN 1 Kencong. This research was a experimental with post-test only control group design. The data are collected by test, observation, interview, question form and documentation. Data analysis techniques T-test using SPSS 22. The results of study: (1) the average value of science process skills 66.8 (2) the average value of motivation 77.4 (3) the average value of learning achievement 62.6. This research can be concluded: (1) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students towards science process skills students, (2) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students towards the learning motivation students, (3) there is the effect significant of the use a model discovery learning accompanied by Worksheets Students toward student learning outcomes. Abstract

Laboratory’s management is the important thing for a laboratory. Good management of laboratory will influence the users’ performance. Good management need good performance of laboratory’s manager. Purposes of this study were to describe how well the basic physics laboratory’s management was done and how its influence to users’ performance dan satisfaction that was caused by laboratory manager’s performance when she was serving users. The analysis was conducted by using descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed that basic physics laboratory of FKIP in Jember University was in good category but for maintenance and safety need to be better, students’ performance as users in very good category although lecturers’ performance as users were in good category, and students and lecturers’ satisfaction when they’re served by laboratory’s manager in some performance’s indicators such as reability, responsiveness, emphaty, assurance and tangible were in a good enough category.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat mengharuskan semua orang untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan berbagai teknologi yang ada. Termasuk profesi guru yang merupakan tombak kemajuan pendidikan di suatu negara. Guru harus bisa mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran yang menarik, efektif, dan efisien bagi siswa. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi di bidang pendidikan adalah Physics Education and Technology (PhET) Simulation. Simulasi PhET merupakan sebuah laboratorium virtual yang sangat bermanfaat terutama dalam pembelajaran sains seperti fisika, biologi, matematika, dan kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan simulasi PhET terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi usaha dan energi. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di SMAN Plus Sukowono. Data yang di analisis adalah hasil Pre-test dan Post-test yang akan disajkan menggunakan diagram batang berbantuan excel dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen yang terdiri atas kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Phet Simulation sebagai media pembelajaran materi usaha dan energi berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA di SMAN Plus Sukowono yang ditunjukkan dari selisih nilai rata – rata antara pre test dan post test kelas eksperimen sebesar 9,28. Kata kunci: simulasi PhET; pengaruh; usaha dan energi ABSTRACTAdvances in technology and information that are increase rapidly require everyone to be able to adapt to various existing technologies. Including the teaching profession which is the spearhead of educational progress in a country. Teachers must be able to keep up with the times and create interesting, effective, and efficient learning innovations for students. One of the uses of technology in education is Physics Education and Technology (PhET) Simulation. PhET Simulation is a virtual laboratory that is very useful especially in learning sciences such as physics, biology, mathematics, and chemistry. This study aims to determine the effect of using PhET simulation on student learning outcomes in the matter of work and energy. The population of this study were students of class XI IPA 1 at SMAN Plus Sukowono. Abstract

This article reported the results of an experimental research about the effect of guided discovery with LKS mind mapping the results of teaching and learning of physics activities learning in SMAN 1 Cluring. The objectives of this research were to describe the learning activities during guided discovery with LKS mind mapping. Thie guided discovery’s model with LKS mind mapping measured the cognitive learning outcomes. The data of the cognitive learning outcomes in elasticity was collected by using post test. Then, the data collected was analyzed by using independent sample t-test (SPSS 22). The difference of the achievement between experiment class and control class was did by obtained significant value of 0.759 and 0.895 It means the result of this research proved that the use of guided discovery model with LKS mind mapping significantly affected the cognitive learning outcomes at eleventh grade SMAN 1 Cluring. The design of this research was post test only control group design. The data of the learning activities was collected by using observation. Based on the data, the average of the learning activities was 85,76% which means active.

Abstract

Many teaching materials have been developed researchers at this time. However, the development of the teaching materials mostly only contains the theory and is not related to the reality of student life. The material resources developed contain only a summary of the material, examples and questions of practice, so as not to demonstrate the relationship between student experience and the mastery of the concept of motion. The purpose of this research is to identify the concept of straight and circular motion to be finished design context of the E-module draft. This type of research is descriptive research with the design of analytical descriptive research. The results of the study were obtained in the form of data identification of straight and circular motion concept on Ijen crater tourist path. The results of the path identification are straight, trajectory and circular trajectory according to the concept of straight and circular motion. These three identification results are then used as a key ingredient in the design of an X-level high School E-module to assist students in understanding the concepts of straight and circular motion.

Abstract

ICT-based dynamic fluid modules are efficient ICT-based teaching materials that have the appeal of students to be more motivated, active more able to understand the concept of dynamic fluid material. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of ICT-based dynamic fluid modules on science process skills and student learning outcomes in high school. The type of research used in is experimental research with the design of post-test only control group. Scsience Process skills score and student learning outcomes show significant differences between experimental classes and control classes.
