Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan RME; serta perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan RME dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Ketib sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IVA SDN Sindangraja sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis di kelas eksperimen termasuk ke dalam kriteria tinggi, sedangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis termasuk ke dalam kriteria sedang; serta perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis siswa di kedua kelas menunjukkan, pendekatan RME lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis, dan pembelajaran konvensional lebih baik daripada pendekatan RME dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Music art learning in understanding the solmisation notation in elementary schools still have many difficulties. Understanding the song solmisation notation is very important to learn especially in playing musical instruments. Difficulty understanding the notation can be solved using the Kodaly method of hand signing technique. The research method uses the experimental quasi method as well as the design of non-equivalent control group design research. This research was conducted in one of the primary schools in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia with a total subject of 68 students in two classes studying in the fourth grade with a range of 9-10 years. The results showed that the increase in the experimental class averaged 39.70 to 51.67 and in the control class an average increase of the value of 38.23 to 45.58. This study showed an increase in the ability to understand song solmisation notation in experimental classes using the Kodaly method hand signing technique is better than the control class using conventional learning

One of the problems that occurs today is the low ability of student’s singing accuracy. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the increase in the student’s singing accuracy in the experimental class who did pitch-matching exercises with the control class that did conventional learning without pitch-matching exercises. The design of this study was quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were 30 students in the experimental class and 31 students in the control class. Based on the results of the study, the average value of students in the experimental class increased from 40 to 68.8, while in the control class the average value of students increased from 33.5 to 40. However, based on the results of statistical tests that there were differences in improvement which indicated an increase in class the experiment was higher than the control class.

This study is an effort in improving the art music appreciation of 5th grader students on the subjects of art, culture and media skills through the application of angklung. Research conducted on this occasion is a class action that was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were all students of 5th grader SDN Inklusif Sariwangi Cijambe Subang totaling 44 students. Source of data derived from students, teachers, peers, and researchers. Data collection technique used observation, documentation, and tests. The validity of the data using expert opinion. Analysis of the data used by the analysis of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Obtaining data from this study are very useful to improve the competence of teachers in developing the skills to play angklung as a medium of art music appreciation students in Kabupaten Subang. The results showed that through the application of media angklung music can enhance art appreciation 5th grader students on the subjects of art, culture and skills of the first cycle and the second cycle.

One of the problems in singing at elementary school is the skill students of stabilizing tempo, when the tempo becomes an important because it is one of the main elements in singing. Application metronome become alternative solution that teachers can use as learning media to stabilize singing tempo. The study aims to determine the difference in student skills to stabilize the singing tempo in experimental classes and control classes. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent design control group. The samples on this study were 30 students of experimental class and 30 students of the control class. The results showed, the grades of students in the experimental class increased from 41.3 to 80.0, the grades of the students control grade from 46 to 61.3. However, based on statistical results, there are differences in improvements that show higher experimental class upgrades than the control class.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kajian bibliometrik tempo dalam musik yang telah dipublikasikan dan telah terindeks oleh scopus dalam kurun waktu dari 2010-2019. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan secara terstruktur dengan mencakup lima tahap: (1) pencarian metadata melalui software PoP; (2) penyaringan artikel yang akan digunakan dalam analisis bibliometrik; (3) penggarapan dan penyelesaian metadata artikel; (4) mengerjakan analisis bibliometrik melalui software VOSviewer; (5) mengerjakan analisis bibliometrik melalui GPSvisualizer dan Maps.co. Terdapat lima hasil temuan dari analisis bibliometrik: (1) kata kunci penulis yang paling banyak digunakan adalah musik, tempo dan musik tempo; (2) perkembangan publikasi yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap tahunnya mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan; (3) istilah judul yang paling banyak dipakai adalah musik, tempo dan efek; (4) istilah abstrak yang paling banyak digunakan adalah musik, efek dan belajar; (5) negara yang paling banyak berkontribusi dalam penelitian tempo dalam musik adalah United Kingdom.

Paduan suara adalah salah satu bagian penting dalam kegiatan upacara bendera. Hampir semua sekolah dasar memiliki masalah terkait paduan suara dalam menyanyikan lagu wajib dan Nasional. Dilaksanakannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh paduan suara. Studi kasus dipilih sebagai desain penelitian yang memiliki tujuan untuk menyelidiki dan menelusuri proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan paduan suara di sekolah. Proses pembelajaran bernyanyi merupakan fokus penelitian yang dipilih. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan, sehingga diperoleh data yang memberikan gambaran mengenai pembelajaran bernyanyi yang dilakukan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan oleh paduan suara SDN Cimalaka I, proses pembelajarannya dilakukan dengan mempelajari materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode latihan yang ditunjang dengan media audio dan video. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sanggar SDN Cimalaka I, Kabupaten Sumedang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh beberapa temuan terkait dengan gambaran proses pembelajaran bernyanyi paduan suara sekolah dasar, kendala yang dialami, faktor pendukung berjalannya proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar.

Students Worksheets (LKPD) are one of the important teaching materials used to make learning more meaningful and develop science process skills (KPS) of students to investigate the environment. During this time educators only use LKPD without analyting it first, so the LKPD is less demanding for students to investigate problems. The purpose of this research is to develop LKPD based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) to improve the KPS. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RD). The main instruments are POE based LKPD, validation sheet and poll. LKPD is tested to the students of the class V in four different elementary schools located in the district Sumedang Selatan, Sumedang, West Java. From the research data showed that the KPS of learners increased (95%) after acquired LKPD as needed, LKPD validation result (95%) "excellent†of students as well (88.3 in terms of material 83.5 design) "is very valid" from judgment. The KPS have not been reached primarily on indicators of interpretation and filing questions.

The research aims to determine the increase in mathematical understanding and mahematical disposition of students who study with the Realistics Mathematics Education (RME) approach with Squarec Smart, compare it to conventional learning, and knowing the relationship between mathematical understanding and disposition. This research used quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The population is all class IV in Sumedang Selatan Subdistrict with samples of class IVA (experiment) and IVB (control) in SDN Sukaraja I. The results of this research show that learning with the RME approach assisted by Squarec Smart and convensional learning both increase mathematical understanding and disposition. However, the RME with Squarec Smart significantly improved mathematical understanding and mathematical disposition compared to the conventional approach. In addition, the result show that there is no correlation between mathematical understanding and mathematical disposition.

AbstractDuring the learning process of Social Sciences on Types of Business and Economic Activities material, teachers still uses conventional learning which is Teacher Centered Learning (TCL). This study was conducted on class VB students at Cikoneng Elementary School in Ganeas Sub-District, Sumedang District by implementing a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This Classroom Action Research was conducted in three cycles. As for the data obtained on are as follows, the student critical thinking ability test at first cycle reached 32%, at second cycle increased 68%, and at third cycle increased and reached the target of 84%. Then the student learning outcomes test at first cycle reached 64%, at second cycle increased 76%, and at third cycle increased and reached the target of 92%. Thus this study successfully improves students’ critical thinking ability and learning outcomes on VB class at Cikoneng Elementary School in Ganeas Sub-District, Sumedang District.
