Abstract

This classroom action research is based on the use of a learning model that cannot train students in critical thinking, causing low student thinking. The purpose of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills using an active learning method, namely PBL (Problem Based Learning). This class action research is carried out in accordance with the PTK stages, namely the initial condition (pre-action), action (action), and result (post-action). The material used in this study is the material of Changing the Form of Objects. The research was carried out in two cycles or two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The assessment of critical thinking skills uses test questions in the form of PG questions as many as 10 items and descriptions as many as 3 items. The object of the research was 15 students in grade III of SDN Sukasirna I. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and written tests. The data analysis techniques used are using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research showed a significant increase by using the active learning method in improving students' critical thinking from cycle I and cycle II

Abstract

This study examines the linguistic forms and conversational functions of the Tosa dialect as represented in the anime Gintama. Originating from Kochi Prefecture, the Tosa dialect preserves elements of ancient Western Japanese in both phonologu and vocabulary, contributing to its distinct linguistic character. In Gintama, the dialect is used to construct character identity and highlight regional background, particularly for figures modeled after historical personalities from Tosa. Drawing on qualitative and descriptive methods, this study analyzed dialogues spoken by characters who use the Tosa dialect across several episodes. The analysis identifies seventeen dialectal forms, including grammatical variations such as ~yuu , ~chuu, ~ki, and ~jaki, and explores their pragmatic roles in expressing aspect, negation, emphasis, and causality. The findings reveal how dialectial variation contributes to characterization and authenticity in Japanese popular media. Despite notable differences from standard Japanese, the contextual use of the Tosa dialect in Gintama allows viewers to infer meaning and appreciate the cultural and linguistic diversity it represents .

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of TGT type cooperative learning using the GASING method on students' understanding of the mathematical concept of multiplying two numbers. This research uses quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental research type and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population taken was all elementary schools in South Sumedang District, with the research sample being class IV students at SDN Sukaraja I, totaling 60 students. The research instrument is a test in the form of essay questions regarding understanding the mathematical concept of multiplying two numbers. The validity of the instrument is carried out through expert judgment on several experts and testing the instrument on students who then carry out validity and reliability tests. The data were analyzed by comparing the gain values of the control and experimental classes which had been carried out by normality tests, homogeneity tests and research hypothesis tests. The results of this research show that TGT cooperative learning using the GASING method has an influence on understanding the mathematical concept of multiplying two numbers as evidenced by an increase of 0.56 in the experimental class, higher than the increase in the control class of 0.26.

Abstract

Abstract

This Study aims to determine and analyze the influence of independency, due professional care and moral reasoning on audit quality at BPK RI Representative of Bangka Belitung Province. This type of research is quantitative research with used primary research data obtained through distributing questionnaires. The population and sample of this research is all auditors at BPK RI Representative of Bangka Belitung Province. Determination of sample using saturating sampling method, which means the entire population is sample. This study uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The result of this research indicate that independency and due professional care variables have an influence on audit quality at BPK RI Representative of Bangka Belitung Province. Its shows that when the independency and due professional care getting large, the audit quality is getting high as well. Implementation with an optimal independency and due professional care will increase the realization of each part of the examination effectively and efficiently, and be able to account for the audit result properly. While, moral reasoning has not influence on audit quality at BPK RI Representative of Bangka Belitung Province. The reason is the level of moral reasoning varies depending on the understanding and perspective of each auditor so cannot be used as a determinant of the audit quality produced by an auditor

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Gawang Angklung (Galung) application, a visual-based digital tool integrating traditional angklung music with interactive visual cues, in supporting inclusive music education for deaf learners. Designed to bridge the gap between sound-based musical instruction and the learning needs of students with hearing impairments, Galung enables ensemble participation through synchronized visual signals. Using a convergent mixed-methods design, data were collected from 24 deaf students, four music educators, and two application developers through interviews, classroom observations, and questionnaires. Quantitative results showed significant improvements in rhythmic accuracy (p < .01) and tempo recognition, while qualitative analysis revealed increased motivation, collaborative engagement, and communicative confidence. The integration of Galung aligns with constructivist and aesthetic learning principles, offering a multisensory, culturally grounded approach to music instruction. Despite its benefits, challenges were identified, including teacher training needs and technical limitations. This study highlights the potential of culturally embedded, visually adaptive technologies to promote inclusivity, accessibility, and active participation in arts education, while contributing to the broader discourse on equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilities.
