Abstract

Good employee performance can be determined by applying the right leadership style and motivation, because by providing the right leadership style and motivation to employees will make employees have high motivation so as to produce quality employee performance. Based on a survey of researchers directly that according to employees of PT. Citra Indojaya Perkasa led by PT. Citra Indojaya Perkasa does not listen to the opinions of its employees and the motivation given by the company to employees must be maintained because it is to maintain effectiveness and achieve the company's vision and mission. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Leadership Style (X1) and Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) in the Security Division of PT. Citra Indojaya Perkasa. In this study using Quantitative Statistics method. After the calculations were carried out through SPSS it was known that the results of this study stated that the variables of Leadership Style and Motivation simultaneously had an effect on employee performance. Thus it can be stated that the motivational variable cannot stand alone, the existence of a good leadership style can affect the motivation of its employees.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi ini berbelanja menjadi bagian dari kehidupan masyarakat. Dulunya masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya mereka harus datang langsung ke penjualnya. Namun pada saat ini mereka dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mereka dengan membeli secara online. Perubahan perilaku konsumen tersebut tentunya terjadi tidak begitu saja, namun ada hal-hal yang mempengaruhinya seperti faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertunjuan untuk melihat pengaruh perilaku konsumen terhadap kepuasan konsumen dalam membeli tiket pesawat secara online pada situs traveloka.com. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi sederhana. Dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid-19 penyebaran kuisoner dilakakukn secara online melalui Google Form. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 100 responden sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perilaku konsumen memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen dalam membeli tiket pesawat secara online pada situs Traveloka.com. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan analisis regresi linier sederhana, yaitu Y = 4,335+ 0,272X. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa variabel X (Perilaku Konsumen) berpengaruh posistif terhadap varibel Y (Kepuasan Konsumen) dengan pengaruh sebesar 33% dan sisanya sebesar 67%merupakan sumbangan dari variabel lain di luar variabel perilaku konsumen.

Abstract

The practice of legitimizing men’s dominance is known as hegemonic masculinity, and it is a concept that has often been explored through numerous adult novels, but rarely in children’s literature. To address this research gap, this study conducted a text analysis on the types of hegemonic masculinity depictions in Mark Twain’s “Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, as one of the most read novels by young readers who attend schools with an international curriculum. The researchers used the descriptive qualitative method hand in hand with Connell and Messerschmidt’s theory of hegemonic masculinity. The result showed 3 types of hegemonic masculinity displayed in the novel include toxic masculinity, bad boy archetype, and dominant-submissive roles. These types can influence young to imitate bad role model, engage in bullying, and develop an unhealthy habit of hiding their feelings. Young readers may begin to see mischievous, manipulating, and aggressive behaviour as a common thing to do or even should be done to establish their place in society. Tom Sawyer is mandatory reading in the curriculum and is a classic that is unlikely to be taken off of the syllabus, so this study recommends teachers to make students become aware of the underlying ideas and values implicated in the novels. This study presented the implication for schools which assigned the reading of “Tom Sawyer” to address the reality of hegemonic masculinity in the novel to reduce the possible effect of its themes.

Abstract

Wacana pemekaran daerah Kotawaringin Raya telah lama diusulkan oleh berbagai pihak di Kalimantan Tengah. Wacana ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa faktor, sepert luas wilayah Kalimantan Tengah yang sangat besar, belum meratanya pembangunan di wilayah Kalimantan Tengah, adanya potensi sumber daya alam yang besar di wilayah Kotawaringin, dan adanya keinginan kuat dari masyarakat Kotawaringin untuk membentuk provinsi baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor pendukung dan tantangan dalam pemekaran daerah Kotawaringin Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) melalui berbagai sumber literatur, seperti buku, artikel ilmiah, dan jurnal. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah jenis data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan oleh penulis dalam penulisan paper ini yaitu melalui cara: 1) Pengumpulan data melalui berbagai sumber literatur. 2) Reduksi data, memilih dan memilah data yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan. 3) Penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemekaran daerah Kotawaringin Raya memiliki peluang untuk berhasil, tetapi juga memiliki tantangan yang perlu dipertimbangkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan kajian yang lebih mendalam mengenai faktor pendukung dan tantangan pemekaran daerah Kotawaringin Raya, sehingga dapat dirumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk mewujudkan pemekaran daerah tersebut.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap kader posyandu tentang pemberian ASI Eksklusif setelah diberikan pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan penerapan metode emotional demonstration. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Tempat penelitian yaitu Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai p-value pengetahuan = 0,000 dan sikap = 0,013 (p-value < dari 0,05), artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberdayaan kader posyandu dalam penerapan metode emotional demonstration terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap kader tentang pemberian ASI eksklusif. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap kader posyandu dalam penerapan metode emotional demonstration di posyandu akan dapat membantu upaya peningkatan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kata kunci: Asi Eksklusif, Emotional Demonstration, Kader Posyandu, Pemberdayaan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) student learning outcomes on number courses, academic year 2023/2024. In this study two cycles were perfomed, cycle I and cycle II, where at the end of each cycle a test was given. In the cycle I, learning is done using conventional methods or teachers-centric learning. In the cycle II, learning with RME approaches. From both of these cycles, it is concluded that the learning outcomes in the cycle II have improved from the cycles I, this means that learning with the RME approach has higher results than learning with conventional method.

Abstract

Learning strategy is planning about a series of activities designed in an effort to achieve certain educational goals. In this case, learning strategies become activities that must be carried out by teachers and students. The reason is, the learning strategy is also interpreted as a set of learning materials and procedures to generate learning outcomes in students. In its implementation, learning strategies consist of various kinds of learning techniques and methods, for example reading, remembering, repeating, and applying information. According to the 1970 Commission Instruction Technology (CIT) definition, learning technology is defined as a medium that was born as a result of the communication revolution that can be used for learning purposes in addition to teachers, textbooks, and blackboards….the parts that make up learning technology are television, film, OHP , computers and other hardware and software parts. Schramm (1977) suggests that learning media is a message carrier technology that can be utilized for learning purposes. Meanwhile, Briggs (1977) argues that learning media are physical means for conveying learning content/material such as: books, films, videos and so on. Meanwhile, the National Education Association (1969) revealed that learning media is a means of communication in print and audio-visual form, including hardware technology. From the three opinions above, it can be concluded that learning media is anything that can convey messages, can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of students so that they can encourage the creation of learning processes in students.

Abstract

In the 17th century, there were two critical moments in the history of world civilization, namely the beginning of the rise and dominance of the West and the beginning of the decline and destruction of Islam in Arabia after its glory for several centuries. For this reason, Arab intellectuals began to examine the causes of this decline and devise solutions to rise again. Then came one of the Arab intellectuals who provided critical solutions and impacted Islamic thought, Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri. He provides ideas from Bayani, Irfani, and Burhani epistemology, which have implications for the revival of Islam, including Islamic education. This research is analyzed theoretically to describe the construction of al-Jabiri's thoughts on Bayani, Irfani, and Burhani epistemology and their correlation with Islamic education. This research aims to overcome the existing knowledge deficit and investigate the impact of epistemology on the criticism of Arabic language education reasoning and its correlation with Islamic education. The research method used is a literature study by taking primary data from Muhammad Abed Al-Jabiri's work entitled "Takwin al-'Aql al-'Arabi". The results show that Bayani, Irfani, and Burhani epistemologies criticize the dominant Arabic reasoning, explore less noticed aspects, and offer more inclusive thinking alternatives in the context of Islamic education. This research also opens a new paradigm on the relationship between these epistemologies and Islamic education. By understanding Arabic reasoning deeply and applying epistemological principles in Islamic education, Islamic education can become more holistic, inclusive, adaptive to the modern world, and develop critical thinking.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of herding bias in investors in Indonesia during the Covid-19 New Normal period. This study was conducted for six months to survey the behavior of 232 investors with a single investor identification in the Indonesian capital market who were haphazardly selected to test the herding bias model. The results of Confirmatory Factor Analysis show that reputational factors, social proof, lack of awareness, volatility in global markets, underconfidence, optimism, bandwagon effect, and speculation are the determinants of investor herding bias in Indonesia. The results of this study also prove that the reputation factor is the dominant factor determining herding behavior, where investors will follow the behavior of their community to maintain their reputation. The second factor that contributes highly to determining herding bias is social proof, which means that Indonesian investors consider social roles in the decision-making process. We hope the results of this study can provide researchers and practitioners with a better understanding of herding behavior which is part of the theory of financial behavior.

Abstract

Background: Stunting or short is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years of age due to chronic malnutrition and repeated infections, especially in the first 1000 days of life. Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors and is not only caused by poor nutrition experienced by pregnant women and children under five. A total of 94 toddlers in the city of Bengkulu experienced stunting with a prevalence of 4.68% and most were found at Jalan Gedang Health Center as many as 14 toddlers stunting with a prevalence of 14.89%. This study aims to determine the effect of LETING media on knowledge and attitudes about stunting in students of SMKN 5 Bengkulu City. Method: This type of research is Pre Experimental with research one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were students of SMKN 5 Bengkulu City, totaling 32 people using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon signed rank test.. Result: The results of the study obtained the average knowledge before 11.06 and after 13.88 while the average attitude before and after was 43.72 55.75. The results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test obtained p value = 0.000 < 0.005 which shows that there is an influence of LETING media on knowledge and attitudes about stunting in adolescents at SMKN 5 Bengkulu City. This research is expected to be used as one of the learning media in the classroom to provide health promotion so that students' knowledge and attitudes can increase so as to prevent stunting.
