Abstract

Globally, less than half of babies under 6 months of age are exclusively breastfed. Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy is a mother's self-confidence in breastfeeding which can be an indicator of the mother's decision, the efforts to be made, the mother's mindset in breastfeeding and how to respond to problems or difficulties during breastfeeding. This type of quantitative research with an analytical research design using a Cross-Sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had breastfed for the past 3 months totaling 81 people, with a sample size of 45 respondents. The results of the study showed that most respondents with high family support had high breastfeeding self-efficacy, namely 19 (42.2%) respondents, while respondents with low family support mostly had low self-efficacy, namely 10 (22.2%) respondents. The results of the chi square statistical test showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and breastfeeding Self-efficacy with a value of ρ = 0.001. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between family support and breastfeeding Self-efficacy of Young Mothers, where the higher the family support, the higher the breastfeeding self-efficacy in young mothers

Abstract

The presence of tofu waste compounds in water results in pollution that can contaminate biota. A more effective, efficient, easy and cheap organic waste processing technique for the tofu industry is using the photocatalyst method. Photocatalysis is a combination reaction between photochemistry and catalyst with shell charcoal as a catalyst. This research aims to determine the levels of COD, BOD, and TSS in tofu waste before and after photocatalysis, and to determine the effectiveness of charcoal photocatalysis to degrade tofu waste. In the SEM (Scanning Electrone Mycroscope) test results, it was identified that charcoal has a fairly large and loose pore surface. The test results for the water content were 2.4% and the ash content was 11.45% and the ash content did not meet the charcoal quality standards according to SNI 01-1682-1996, the water content was 6% and the ash content was 3%. The FTIR absorption test results that appear indicate the presence of the O-H group, the C-H Streching functional group, the C ≡ N Nitrile functional group (strong), the C=C aromatic ring functional group which is a form of hexagonal charcoal, the C-O functional group and the presence of the C-H aromatic ring functional group. Test results before and after photocatalysis on Tofu waste for COD levels of 122mg/l and >>> mg/l, BOD 3567 mg/l and 2071mg/l, TSS 138 mg/l and 18 mg/l. The effectiveness of charcoal photocatalysis to degrade tofu waste was effectively used for BOD test parameters with a reduction percentage of 41.9%, TSS of 86.9% and for COD test parameters it was not effective for the photocatalyst method.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop Thematic critical literacy based digital teacing materials (TCL-DLM) to increase students’ higher order thinking skills at elementary school. This research is a research development with a 4-D model (define, design, develop, and dissemination). Data collection techniques were carried out through teaching material validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets and tests of higher order thinking skills. The data obtained were analyzed descriptive quantitative. The results of the study show that: 1) The results of the needs analysis are that thematic learning is still limited to the use of teaching materials in the form of theme books and electronic books that have been prepared by the government so that it is necessary to develop practical and effective teaching materials. The students’ higher order thinking skills based on pretest dominated in medium category (51.85%). 2) The development of these teaching materials uses the Four-D teaching material development procedure from Thiagarajan which consists of the defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages, 3) Thematic critical literacy based digital learning material (TCL-DLM) have met the validity criteria, because the results of validation from material experts and the learning design of teaching materials is in the very valid category (M = 3,82), 4) Thematic critical literacy based digital learning material (TCL-DLM) is in the effective category because there is an increase in the results of tests of higher-order thinking skills after the application of Thematic critical literacy based digital learning material (TCL-DLM) in class VI students of SD Telkom Makassar. Postest category dominated in very good category (81.48%). In addition, teachers and students expressed a positive response. 5) Thematic critical literacy based digital learning material (TCL-DLM) is also in the practical category because it has been well implemented which includes the criteria of ease of use, time efficiency and very practical benefits. The recommendation of this research is Thematic critical literacy based digital learning material (TCL-DLM), needs more developed both in terms of material and features of digital teaching materials and more interesting so students' higher-order thinking skills can be better.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to conduct a comparative analysis of drug addict rehabilitation policies in Indonesia and Thailand, with a focus on the effectiveness, strategies and approaches implemented. The problem of drug addiction is a serious challenge in both countries, requiring well-structured rehabilitation programs to address the physical, psychological and social aspects of addiction. In Indonesia, rehabilitation efforts have focused more on a combination of medical treatment and social reintegration, with an emphasis on community-based initiatives. In contrast, Thailand has developed a more comprehensive and integrated system, which includes government-regulated treatment, community programs, and alternative punishments for drug offenders. This study analyzes key differences and similarities in the two countries' policies, and evaluates their impact on recovering addicts and broader social outcomes. By comparing the experiences of the two countries, this study aims to provide insights into effective rehabilitation strategies and recommendations for improving drug addiction recovery systems in Southeast Asia. Abstract

Many people have selected mediation as a dispute resolution procedure to get the best agreement and solution. However, it is not uncommon for parties to fail to consistently implement an agreement reached through mediation. The purpose of this article is to examine the essence of peace agreements reached through mediation, as well as the importance of the principle of good faith as a form of protection for the parties involved in such agreements. This is normative research that takes both a statutory and conceptual approach. The exploration of data in the form of primary and secondary legal materials was carried out through a literature review and descriptive-qualitative analysis. The analytical results reveal that the mediation process, which concludes with a peace agreement, represents the end of a dispute based on the ideals of benefit and justice. On that premise, its execution must be based on the principle of good faith to provide legal protection to the parties, whether mediation takes place in or out of court. Good faith in implementing a peace agreement is interpreted as an attitude that develops within the parties in dispute to carry out their commitments as a moral obligation to obey and accomplish things that have been agreed upon voluntarily.
