Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research are : 1) how lingustic learning design with the use of media in learning audio visual for the skill reading syair in class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Ketapang?, 2) How do measures of media use in learning audio visual for the skill reading syair in class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Ketapang?, 3) How does the evaluation of learning skill reading syair with the  use of media in class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Ketapang?. The purpose if this study to know clearly about : 1) design linguistic learning with the use of media in learning audio visual for skill reading syair in class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Ketapang, 2) measures of media use in learning  linguistic audio visual for skill reading syair, 3) implementation evaluation of learning with the skill reading syair use of media audio visual. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach. Acquisition of data through interviews,  observation, and documentation, the media used in the study is a audio visual, while the instrument is a teacher and class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Ketapang. Based on the research that has been done shows increased students learning  behaviors that include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with an average score of 86 ( very good category). Thus, learning process can utilize media  audio visual.Keywords : Media Audio Visual, linguistic education, syair.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Kabupaten Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran yang dirancang oleh guru sudah tepat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru sudah baik dan maksimal. Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I yaitu 73, 6% dan siklus II yaitu 76%, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 5,4%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa kelas VII A sangat efektif.Kata kunci: Menulis Puisi, Pendekatan KontekstualAbstract:.This research is purposed to describe the improvement writing poetry skill by using contextual method to students of VII 1 SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah regency in academic year of 2012/2013. Research method which is used is descriptive with Classroom action research procedure. The result of the research shows that lesson planning which is conceived by the teacher is appropriate and lesson planning which is conducted by the teacher is appropriate as well as maximal. Activities and learning result are increasing very significantly. Learning result is increasing in every cycle. The average score of cycle 1 is 73,6% and cycle II 76%, it is increasing for 5,4%. Thus, writing poetry skill by using contextual method to students of VII A is very effective.Key words: Writing Poetry, method contextual

Abstract

Kyai Hasyim is known as a figure who is hungry for religious knowledge (Islam). To treat his thirst, KyaiHasyim traveled various famous places in Java at that time. Not only that, the cleric Hasyim also spent a longtime to explore Islam in the holy land (Mecca and Medina). It can be given, Kyai Hasyim is among the santriwho are really serious about Javanese philosophy, “luru ilmu kanti lelaku” (seeking knowledge bywandering) or wandering students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examined the feasibility of Indonesian learning tools made by teachers of private MTs Pontianak at the times of covid-19 pamdemic. Based on the results of the study, the teacher already made several good learning tools,however there were still  shortcomings in certain components. The method used was descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study showed that the tools made by teachers of private MTs Pontianak that were good, there were lesson plan, teaching materials, learning media and evaluations (the questions made by teachers). However there will still some improvement needed in several components of the learning tools, such as school units, the core activity that were still the same from the first until the final meeting, and also the assessment rubric. Nevertheless, this study will alleviate teachers to prepare learning tools for the use of school accreditation, achieving school's vision and mission in the academic field and improving the quality of education in school. Keywords : Indonesian, Pontianak, The Feasibility of Learning Tools

Abstract

AbstractA general problem in this research is how the improvement of identifying the intrinsic elements skills of short story using the cooperative model type of Pair Check at the students of XI IS4 SMA Santu Petrus Pontianak?". This was a researcher’s effort to improve the identifying  the intrinsic elements skills of short story of students and provided a new variation in learning process as well as resolving students’ learning difficulties in in increasing the students’ score.This research used qualitative descriptive method form. The procedures in this research was a classroom action research (CAR) by four stages, there are action planning (planning), implementation of the action (action), observations (observation), and reflection (reflecting).Based on the results of data analysis in this research was known that the application of  identifying the intrinsic elements of short story by using the cooperative learning model type of  pair check can improve student learning outcomes. After done with the action I  students’ average was  69,75 with the highest score was 89, action II with the students’ average score was 74,33 with average score was 89, and the action III, students’ average score was 83.33%with the highest score was 89. Abstract

Abstrak: Manusia tidak dapat menghindar dari membuat interpretasi (hermeneutika). Eksistensi manusia merupakan suatu proses penafsiran yang terus berlangsung dan interpretasi merupakan kegiatan paling dasar pikiran manusia. Interpretasi yang dilakukan terhadap teks, serta tanda-tanda yang dapat dipahami manusia. Semua wacana, apakah dokumen hukum, kitab suci, karya sastra, seni pada hakikatnya sama. Semua teks menggunakan bahasa sebagai media komunikasi. Kemampuan pembaca memahami (Verstehen) teks merupakan masalah pokok. Pemahaman adalah suatu rekonstruksi, bertolak dari ekspresi yang selesai diungkapkan  kembali ke suasana kejiwaan ekspresi itu diungkapkan. Teks yang dapat diinterpretasikan bukan hanya pada teks, tetapi dapat juga kepada setiap tindakkan manusia yang memiliki makna, yakni tindakan manusia yang disengaja untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Untuk mengkajian teks yang dipakai untuk berkomunikasi dapat menggunakan hermeneutik Friederich Scheiermacher dan hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Tiap pakar memberikan solusi langkah-langkah untuk mengkaji teks.                       Kata Kunci: Bahasa, Simbol, Hermeneutika

Abstract

Pembelajaran sastra dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi karya sastra. Kegiatan mengapresiasi cerpen berkaitan erat dengan latihan mempertajam perasaan, penalaran, dan daya khayal, serta kepekaan terhadap masyarakat, budaya, dan lingkungan hidup. Siswa diharapkan mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan karya sastra pada umumnya dan cerpen khususnya untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Diharapkan siswa mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan cerpen untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Membaca cerpen akan membantu siswa menjadi manusia berbudaya yang responsif terhadap nilai-nilai luhur dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Siswa yang berbudaya demikian diharapkan menjadi manusia yang agung namun tetap sederhana, bebas tetapi mengontrol diri, kuat tetapi penuh kelembutan.

Abstract

Monthly Characteristic and Variability of Surface Wind Over the Indian Ocean. This research was conducted to understand monthly characteristic and variability of surface wind circulation over the Indian Ocean. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis. The data used was the monthly direction and velocity of surface wind obtained from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The result showed that the monthly variability of surface wind circulation over the Indian Ocean is influenced by movement of the sun. The change in the variability of surface wind circulation was more in the northern hemisphere, but vice versa surface wind circulation in the southern hemisphere was constant during the year. Generally, velocity of surface wind circulation was the greatest occurred in July and was the weakness occurred in April.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The main problem in this study is whether the application of the problem-based learning model affects the English studies learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Kotagajah. This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the problem-based learning model on social science learning outcomes in grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Kotagajah. This type of research is a true experimental study of the Posttest Only Control Group Design form involving two classes. The subjects in this study were grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Kotagajah which consisted of two groups, namely the control group of 32 students and the experimental group of 32 students. The control group is a conventionally taught group while the experimental group is a group taught with a problem-based learning (PBL) model. The results of descriptive statistical analysis of the use of problem-based learning models on student Social Science learning outcomes have a positive effect, student Social Science learning outcomes using problem-based learning models show better learning outcomes than before the problem-based learning model was applied. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the calculated value of t-Count is 9.01 with a frequency of db = 32–1 = 31, at a significance level of 5% obtained t-Table = 2.04. So, t Calculate > t table or null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This proves that there is an influence in applying the problem-based learning model to the learning outcomes of English students in grade VIII SMPN 2 Kotagajah

Abstract

Global warming, due to increasing greenhouse gases, has increased the frequency of El Niño Southern Oscillation events and influenced ocean dynamics. This research determined the trends of Mindanao Eddy’s and Halmahera Eddy’s over 28 years (1993–2020). The data used in this research consist of sea surface currents, surface wind, sea surface height, and NIŇO3.4 index. Determination of eddy currents was done using the Automated Eddies Detection method. The results showed that the Asian-Australian monsoon and El Niño Southern Oscillation events influence the characteristics of the Mindanao Eddy and Halmahera Eddy. During the Asian monsoon, the position of the Mindanao Eddy and Halmahera Eddy shifts southward, while during the Australian monsoon, it shifts northward. During El Niño, the position of the Mindanao Eddy turns eastward with a smaller diameter, but the position of the Halmahera Eddy does not shift. Conversely, during La Niña, the position of the Halmahera Eddy turns northwestward with a smaller diameter, while the position of the Mindanao Eddy remains unchanged. The shift of the Mindanao Eddy during the El Niño event is closely related to the weakening of the North Equatorial Current and the strengthening of the North Equatorial Countercurrent. On the other hand, the shift of the Halmahera Eddy during the La Niña event is related to the strengthening of the South Equatorial Current as a source of water masses for the New Guinea Coastal Current. The velocity of the Mindanao Eddy and Halmahera Eddy experienced an increasing trend in 1993-2020.
